After just a couple minutes, the beast's body finally disappeared, giving them time to rest for a bit while Taeyong still fought with Li.

"The chip really did have an Unversed emblem on it. That's probably why Renjun was corrupted instead of just simply being mind controlled"

"That would explain it.. The Unversed are very unstable creatures as is. Combining that instability with someone as strong as Renjun was a smart move.."

"It's not just that. Renjun is our strongest ally. Turning him against us was the best plan Li has had thus far..."

Marshall and Taeil discussed.

"Don't forget how he purposely stabbed and crushed Xinrei. He's knows that he's just as talented as Uncle Renjun and managed to get him out of his way momentarily"

Minkyu added.

"Wait.."

"What's wrong Nana?"

Mark curiously asked his brother.

"About the chip... If that's the case that it was what corrupted him instead of just mind controlling him, then we're still in trouble. Destroying the chip didn't return hyung back to normal completely.."

Just as Jaemin realized that, Xinrei suddenly screamed and blood spewed out from his demon's nape.

But then the screams suddenly stopped, and his body quickly returned to normal before he suddenly disappeared. Just a second later, Renjun reappeared holding Xinrei off the ground by his hair. He was back in his first corrupted form, but a tad bit smaller despite still being taller than Jisung, and a third of his face was uncovered for them to look directly into one of his eyes.

He jabbed one of his nails into the boy's neck, transferring some of the corruption to his son before tossing him aside.

"Rei!"

"Xinrei!!"

Xinya and Nitro rushed to his side as the others fought Renjun once again, despite their fatigue.

Though Xinrei was exhausted he could feel his power rising and his head pounding as the corruption quickly took over, but Xinya and Nitro still tried to keep him in control.

"Xinrei, it's me! Look at me! You're fine! You can get through this! I know you can...~!"

Nitro tried to keep a smile on his face, but deep down he was hurting from seeing his brother in pain.

"Nitro... I'm trying, but...i-it's so hard...."

"I know... I know it's hard.. But...we're here for you! We know that you can fight this..!"

"It's going to be ok.. You're going to be ok Rei.."

Xinrei seemed to calm down when Xinya wiped away his tears and Nitro gently pet his head.

But then just like Renjun, he started struggling even more and his demonic features began to show again as his eyes rolled back into his head. He managed to push them away when he felt like he was losing himself, to ultimately prevent himself from hurting them.

Despite his siblings' efforts, Xinrei still ended up shifting into a smaller corrupted demon form, but he was still trying to fight the corruption.

Before the shifting could go any further, Xinya and Nitro both hugged him to try and get through to him as he screamed out in pain.

"Xinrei... I don't know if our words can even reach you now, but... We've got your back.. We're always going to have your back...! Please...don't turn on us now... We're so close... W-We're so close to getting dad back... We can't lose you too..."

"Please don't leave us Rei... We love you..so much... There's so many things that we still haven't done together... The three of us have always been together right...? I... I don't want that to end.. Please..hold on... J-Just please hold on Rei!"

Now Nitro and Xinya had burst into tears as they tried to get through to him, and eventually, he stopped struggling to get loose from them.

Somehow, their words got through to him and was enough to keep Xinrei in control. They both noticed when he used his wings to shield them, or even use them as a way of hugging them.

"Rei...?"

"Are you...?"

"I'm...sorry..."

Xinrei apologized to them, before refocusing his attention on the problem at hand.

They let him go and instead of attacking his allies, he went for Renjun again. They fought for a short while, but he was inevitably beaten down and Renjun took back the corruption he gave to him, breaking Xinrei's neck in the process before throwing him to the side.

While the others continued to fight Renjun, Xinya, Nitro, and Tayden went to Xinrei's aid. Not only did they avoid getting hurt this way, but they also knew that they didn't stand a chance against Renjun in the first place to even try.

"Is... I-Is he...?"

"No, but he would've been if hyung wasn't still trying to fight off his corruption"

Tayden quickly healed Xinrei once more, then gently rested his head in Nitro's lap since he was still unconscious.

"Hey Tayden. Everything's gonna be ok"

"I know, but... My father is causing everyone so much pain and suffering, especially Xinrei and Renjun-hyung. I just...want to help everyone, but everything just keeps getting worse..."

"That may be true, but we're all still here together. Even if we're having trouble getting dad back, he's still fighting his corruption. As long as he's still trying to get back to our side, we'll be fine"

"Nitro... Even if he is, and even if hyung is strong, it's close to impossible with my dad's power. I understand now. When my father is like this, there's almost nothing that can stop him, especially now that he's got Renjun-hyung in the palm of his hand..."

Minutes Later

It didn't take long for Renjun to defeat all of his allies.

After besting them, he went after Chenle first as he tried crawling away. He roughly grabbed his head and slammed him into the ground multiple times, rendering him unconscious before stepping down on his head, continuously adding more and more pressure to it. His brothers and the kids all begged him to stop, but to no avail.

"Hyung... Y-You can't let the corruption win..."

Jaemin mumbled as he tried getting up to stop Renjun.

But when he looked him in the eyes, Renjun activated his Absolute Unpredictability and caused only Jaemin's gravity to shift, slamming him into the ground and rendering him unable to get up anymore.

"I won't...let you kill my father!!"

Xuefen got up to try and save Chenle next, using a few of his Nightmares against him.

But they all dematerialized the second they touched Renjun, and he used the same gravity shift technique on the boy.

"...T-The World...."

Sungmin even used her Stand to stop time, allowing her to try and attack him from above, but two vines suddenly sprouted from the ground to block her Ultima Weapon and tightly wrapped around her to keep her from moving again.

Despite the pressure, Xuefen tried getting up again to save his father, but Renjun only added to his gravity and caused him to sink deeper into the ground.

"No matter what it takes...we'll find a way to stop you!!"

Seeing Xuefen get hurt a second time made Junsung angrier, and he used the dark energy of his emeralds to take on a dark form and attack Renjun.

He struck him multiple times, but none of the hits seemed to affect him at all. Renjun didn't flinch a single time, even when he was struck in the face. Eventually, Renjun dodged one of his attacks and countered with a powerful upper cut that not only sent him flying, but also knocked him out and caused him to lose his dark form in one shot.

Even though he was in pain, Shotaro immediately sprung into action since he was close by, throwing one of his Pokéballs.

"Please catch Junsung, Deoxys!"

The moment the Pokémon emerged, it's tentacles transformed into normal arms and hands.

After it's tentacles transformed, it flew up into the air and caught Junsung before it safely returned to Shotaro's side with the boy.

Failing to save Chenle, they could all hear him whimpering even if he was still unconscious, and eventually heard a crack coming from his skull. But before Renjun could kill him, when Xuefen suddenly used his Stand to cause razor blazes made from the iron is his body to spew out of his mouth and leg, Renjun finally stumbled back and took his foot off of Chenle.

But after a few seconds, Chenle's appearance suddenly changed to Jeongho's, and he had blood dripping from his mouth that wasn't there before.

"Jeongho...? It wasn't Chenle, but you, this whole time...?"

Jeno mumbled, unable to fully comprehend that his son was the one dying instead of his brother.

They all realized that Jeongho had used his Transform power and changed his appearance to Chenle's after taking some of his blood, tricking Renjun perfectly. Before anything else could happen, Xinrei and Chenle suddenly worked together after returning to their dimension. Xinrei had forced himself awake and took Chenle to another dimension with him after he switched with Jeongho.

Chenle used his Holy Claws to strike Renjun, finally removing all of the remaining corruption from him. Having managed to stand up, Shotaro caught Renjun as he collapsed after falling unconscious. At the same time, Taeyong managed to beat Li, and they both changed back to their regular forms once again.
