I arrived at the station within a few minutes, greeted by multiple fans.

Of course they wanted autographs, but I'm in a hurry so I informed them that I'd have to catch them later.

I used my power to run faster, and successfully made it to the station in less than ten seconds. I quickly opened the door, and was met with Xansho at the front desk.

"Thanks for the call Xansho. I'm sorry about the trouble..."

"It's no problem at all. Business was slow anyways"

"So, what's happened this time...?"

"Nothing too different from the last nine times. Xinya didn't do anything, but Xinrei was the one who got in trouble again. He got into another fight"

"Not again... Were they picking on Xinya again?"

"Correct"

Seiki answered, coming to the desk with Xansho's coffee.

"He fought them off to protect her, but he still put them in critical condition. We commend him for defending his sister, but he can't continue to beat up the other students like this. It's not going to look good on his record in the future, despite him being the son of the number one hero. Xinya is fine, but Xinrei's future is on the line. They're both fourteen now after all. In a years time, this will begin to affect them later on since they're siblings"

He explained before walking away.

"Right... I'll be sure to talk to them again, especially Xinrei..."

"Don't take it personally Renjun. We're not blaming either of you three, but things will have to change sooner or later"

"Right..."

"Vexxen, could you please escort Renjun to the holding cell that his kids are in?"

"Sure thing~. Right this way~"

Vexxen shot up from behind the counter and put his game down.

He grabbed my hand and eagerly led me to the holding cells. It was a long way down once we got into the elevator, so we talked on the way.

"So, how do you guys like the job Vexxen?"

"It's great in my opinion~. I get to bring all of the local disturbances into custody, Seiki doesn't really like limelight so he stays inside and brings coffee and paperwork to everyone, and Xansho stays at the front desk mostly making phone calls~"

"It sounds like you guys really enjoy your positions~"

"Oh we do~. It pays well, and we all get to do what we're comfortable with~. Oh~. We're finally here~"

We made it to our designated floor, and Vexxen led me to the correct holding cell.

Luckily, we didn't have to walk far and made it to cell seven fairly quickly. It hasn't changed one bit despite all of the times I've been here.

Vexxen opened the cell and we both headed inside.

"Hi daddy~. Hi Mr. Vexxen~"

Xinya excitedly ran over and hugged us, hugging me the longest.

"Hi princess~. Are you ok? I heard about what happened"

"I'm fine~. Reirei protected me~. I was scared but he was there for me~"

That's when I noticed.

In the past, Xinrei used to come running to me like Xinya does every time I come to bail them out. But this time, he didn't.

He hasn't moved from where he's laying on the bed, with his back facing us.

"He's been in that position since we got here. He hasn't looked anywhere else but the wall..."

Vexxen informed me, and Xinya nodded to confirm.

I let Xinya climb on my back, and I walked over to the bed that Xinrei was laid on. I got on my knees once I was behind him, but he still didn't move.

"Hey Chief. You doing alright bud?"

I asked, gently rubbing his arm.

"...I'm fine"

I knew that he'd respond after I called him that.

He's loved that nickname ever since he was a toddler. When calling him by his actual name doesn't work, using that name always gets results.

"You're not in trouble ok? It's not your fault"

He didn't respond with words, but he did nod.

"You wanna sit up for me buddy? I promise I'm not mad ok?"

"...Fine"

He sat up, but slowly turned around and kept his head held down.

Unlike the other times when he was completely fine, half of one of his horns was broken off, his glasses were broken, and he had a black eye!

He doesn't need glasses, but he really likes to wear them, just like I did when I was around his age.

"Did one of the other students do this to you?!"

"Reirei was fighting off a lot of them, but one of them got to me. He jumped in front of me to receive the blow that was meant for me, and that's how his glasses broke. They ganged up on him after that, and that's how he got his black eye and broken horn..."

Xinya explained.

"...I didn't want to use my Stand or any of my powers. If I did, I probably would've killed them. So I just used my own brute strength"

Xinrei added.

I could tell that he felt very embarrassed that he got beat up in the end. He only wants to protect us, especially Xinya. If he ends up getting hurt in a fight, he'll feel like he's not good enough, not to mention the embarrassment he'd feel too.

He doesn't mean to, but he sometimes ends up pushing people away when he's like this, especially me. But I can tell that he's trying to work on that.

Thankfully, he hasn't pushed me away at all yet. We don't have to worry about him pushing Xinya away though. They're so close that he'd never do that.

"Xinrei. You made the right move. You know how strong you are with and without your powers, and you acted accordingly. I'm very proud of you for the decisions you made, and for protecting your sister once again"

Though he still looked embarrassed, I saw a small smile creep onto his face.

Right on the spot, I healed his black eye and healed his horn so it grew back to the way it was before.

"You wanna give me a hug buddy?"

I stayed on my knees with open arms, and to my surprise, he actually hugged me.

He hasn't given me a full hug in long time. He's given me side hugs, but nothing more than that. It feels so nice to finally get a full hug from him.

After he let go, he tightly held on to his glasses, not wanting to let them go.

"I can't fix your glasses with my power, but I can take you to go get some new ones once we get out of here. And to sweeten the deal, we can all fly up to the Redwood Ice Cream Shop in the city~"

"Ooooh~. I heard that they have coconut ice cream Reirei~. You love coconuts~"

Xinya informed him and his face immediately lit up, just a little bit.

"You ready to go?"

I held out my hand to him, and he thought about it for a few seconds before actually taking it.

"Right this way~. You can sign them out at the front desk with Xansho~"

"Thanks again Vexxen~"

"Thank you Mr. Vexxen~"

"Yeah..., thanks a lot"

We thanked Vexxen before he led us back to the elevator.

10 Minutes Later
Redwood City

First we went to a glasses shop, and Xinrei got to pick out his new glasses.

Right after, we flew up to the upper level of the city and went to the Redwood Ice Cream Shop. We each ordered our own favorite flavors.

Xinrei got roasted coconut.

Xinya got pistachio.

I got butter pecan, and I got Suko a cone too. I got her favorite, mint chocolate chip.

"Alrighty kids. We should head home now"

"Awwwwe. Can't we fly around a little while longer daddy...?"

Xinya pouted.

"Normally we would, but it's getting late. And besides, you two wouldn't want to miss your mom's cooking would you~? She's making your favorites~"

"Patbingsu~?"

"And Budae Jjigae??"

They both asked.

"Yup~. So grab onto me so we can teleport home~"

"Okay~"

"Sure"

They both held on to one of my arms, and in an instant we were back home.

We arrived on the first floor and took the elevator to the kitchen.

Once we finally got to the kitchen, we were immediately greeted by Suko.

"Hi mommy~"

"Hi mom"

"We're back Honeybun~"

We each greeted her, and a smile instantly grew on her face.

Luckily she had just finished making dinner, and she came and hugged us.

"I'm so glad that you're back~. You all made it just in time for dinner~"

"We got your favorite ice cream while we were out~"

I handed her the cone and she happily took it.

"You three are so sweet~. Did everything go well at the police station?"

"Everything went fine~. Turns out bullies will still be bullies though, no matter how popular we may be"

"I see... That can't be helped then. But your father and I will do the best we can to help stop the bullying, okay~?"

"Okay~"

"Thank you mom"

Xinya cheered, and a small smile appeared on Xinrei's face.

"Oh dear! The food is going to get cold if we keep standing here! You can each tell me about your day while we eat~"

Suko then immediately led us to the table.

She made four bowls of Budae Jjigae and four bowls of Patbingsu.

There was enough for each of us, since we all generally eat a lot~.

"So Su, how did everyone else's day go~?"

"I really don't know. Jaemin is upstairs in the middle of his stream. The girls and I have just been doing regular work around the house. Geno and Aurora took care of Junsung and Xuefen with Jisung and Chenle before they went to work. The other kids got home not too long ago, but I don't how about the others. They still haven't gotten back yet"

Hmm, that's weird.

They're all usually back by now.

"It's getting a bit late. I wonder where they are..."
