third pov.

Mikaela and Kayana were walking together,perhaps much to the blonde's dismay.He was on a patrol and Kayana wanted to talk to him so she tagged along.She always thought of herself as more vampire than human ,Mikaela hetes vampires.So.

"Mika,Do...you hate me?" She asked.

It was a though trailing along when Someone doesn't answer your message and leaves you on 'read'
You ask them if they hate you after a while of being ignored because we're
basic beings.

The stoic male's eyes widened slightly and he stopped in his tracks.

Kayana stopped also and looked at him expectantly.It was a thought that kept lingering on her mind.He'd always acted so coldly towards her.She noticed he'd treat her just as badly as he'd treat Ferid,sometimes and that kinda hurt.

He even treated Lacus and Rene better than he treated Ferid.

Mika looked at her.His eyes grew colder.

"You were there.You were right there.You watched.You let him do it."

She was expecting him to reply with a "Yes,I do hate you."

but he didn't say those words...no.He didn't.

"I-I-"

"You.How could you trust him?How?" He muttered bitterly.

She stared at him ,her purple orbs held pity.She went closer.She tried to touch him but he slapped her hand away.

"What do you see in him?Is it his looks?"  Mika growled out.

"What?" She stared at her stinging hand.There wasn't even a scratch but it still stung.

"Why do you like,Ferid Bathory?"

"Why?That's a good question."

"There must be a reason,dammit!I can't come up with one as to why!?He's a bastard!"

"He...he has been with me for as long as I can remember...I didn't know our 'frienship' would last long but it did.He is a horrible person.He's a murderer. 
He is  selfish. Insensitive. Unsincere. Cruel...."  She remembered how he'd always let other women flirt with him.Touch him.Do anything they want.Then she'd see their corpses.Bruised necks.Pale.Limbs torn off,completely mutilated as if they were ragdolls.

She'd hear them scream.

It made her disgusted.The way he toyed with their feeling and unknowingly her's.

He literally has no shame.
he shows his bare body so much that she doesn't even make her feel embarrassed anymore.

That man drives her insane.
Completely insane.

She wanted him to be hers .

Mika glared.

"Then why?"

She was in her study ,drawing him.She thought about him.How perfect he was .His sarcastic and mocking smiles.The cruel glint he had in his eyes.The way he teasingly swayed his hips,drawing her in.

She was infutated.Obsessed.Addicted,and damn she knew she was.

"Kayana-sama." A little girl named Ella.She was beautiful.Kayana envied her beauty but don't we all have someone we envy?Sadly,most of us do but she covered it up with a fake smile,and met the girls gaze.

"Yes,dear?" she replied sweetly.

"Is that a drawing of Lord Ferid?"

Kayana nodded her head in response.

.She drew many of the vampires,nobles and guards alike. In the hopes that she can look at them in the future if any of them were to perish in the upcoming war her demon flashed in her dreams.

She had many albums with portraits of them.Some pictures she framed and hung around her wall.

"He is so handsome!" Ella gushed.Her face was red and she smiled .

"He is." Kayana agreed,biting back the urgeSo much heart ache.So much.It actually hurts.Was she really going to lose to this girl.

"K-kayana-sama....I-I need your help."

Again,she was simply living in her own world when she was approached by the girl once again . It seemed to be a habit now,and Kayana could not figure out why. Was she trying to use her to get closer to Ferid?

"What is it?" Kayana asked,once again smiling at the girl.

"I'm...I'm going to confess to Lord Ferid."

'Oh no...he's just going to play with her....why.Why did you fall in love with him of all people. That's just....'

"Do you truly love him?" She questioned.She knew Ferid liked the shallow  ones who wanted his body and looks.He'd torture them and claim it was all in the name of 'love'.  We all know better though.He's just a bloody sadist.

"Y-yes." Ella replied.

"What do you love about him?" Kayana went further.

"Everything.He's so kind and sincere.He compliments me all the time.He's so pefect!"

Kind.Sincere.Yup,definately one of his games.

They watched the ruined world together,as the sun set over the horizon.
She was positioned ontop his lap with her head on his shoulder and his arms around her waist.

Not a single word was exchanged
It was completely silent with no signs of life.Except for the occasional flick of birds,or bats.

They'd always meet up to watch the sunset.The same sunset they would watch everyday for more than 500 years,and these moments were sacred.

Ferid always stared at her like that and
it always made her tingle.

They were both situayed in her office. Alone.

"Wouldn't you rather do something other than work?" He asked.His tone was silky and smooth.

"no." she replied strongly.

'yes.' her mind urged.I'd rather be spending my time with you.

"Hm~Why not?" He urged biting her ear softly.

'don't give in.'

"I hav-

"I know you want to~Don't resist." He murmered seductively turning her  around.

"F-ferid....no.." The way he stared at her.How could a man be so beautiful,yet so dangerous.

His bangs framed his hair perfectly.His lips...they looked so soft and plump. Is this the same  temptation eve faced in the garden,or perhaps she gave Adam this look to convince him to eat of it too.

She then felt his cold hands on the side of her neck and she smelt his blood.

He caressed her neck and nibbled on it.

"Ferid I have work t-..."

'You know what.I want him.'

Then,after her last bit of resiliance faded Kayana shoved him off of her much to his dismay.He was annoyed at how persistant she was to get him off but he didn't expect her to take control.

"You just love toying with my feelings don't you." She snarled

Ferid smirked and she returned his with a smirk of her own.She pushed him down on her desk,skattering many papers in the process.

Then she placed her lips on his gently and immediately made out with him,getting list in his touch and completely abandoning

Ella's pov

Kayana-sama is so nice to us.She always treats us as equals even though she knows her species is clearly superior.

She even encouraged me to confess to Lord Ferid.She's so beautiful but I can't help but think how foolish she can be.I can clearly tell she loves Lord Ferid  but she can't have him.

She would never have him.

I like Kayana-sama but I was just using her as an excuse to get close to Lord  Ferid.

I feel kind of bad now...He didn't reply to my confession but he was flustered.That must mean something.

I'll just go rub it in Kayana-sama's face without her actually knowing.She might not know it,but she isn't very good at hiding her jealousy.

It feels so good.

She pulled on his locks and he let out a  low grunt in return.

His hands were roaming all over but he stopped suddenly with them on her chest.

"Seems as of we have a visitor." Ferid said,feeling himself grow more amused by the second.

"Doesn't matter.It's most likely not a vampire cause I told the guards to patrol."

Her hands touched him through his clothes and she went right back to kissing him.

"Ferid...I love you..." She moaned.

"Mhm~I've been wanting to hear that for centuries now.I think I love you too."

Then the door opened.There's only one person who'd enter without knocking and she did not look happy.At all.

Ella's pov

Why is Lord Ferid on Kayana-sama's desk....wait ...

Kayana-sama!

They're making out!?W-why is she ontop of him!Why are they touching eachother?Wait...no. NO NO NO! HOW!? HOW COULD SHE DO THIS TO ME!

No...this can't be happening...She knew I loved him!

Third pov

Kayana sat up straight while avoiding Ella's heartbroken and angry gaze. Ok,so maybe she did know Ella was just using her as an excuse to get closer to Ferid but she kinda got fed up .It's been centuries since she fell in love with him and she couldn't do it anymore.No,especially she can't lose to this stupid mortal girl.

"W-what's going on?" Ella asked.

Ferid sat up with a big grin of his face not at all paying attention to his almost fully unbottoned expensive as hell shirt.

"Hi Ella-chan!We're kind of in the middle of something here~" He replied.

How does one fake such innocence.

"Kayana-sama...You TWO FACED B*TCH!"

'well damn.'

Kayana just wanted to laugh very loudly.She was the two faced fake af bitch ?Oh hell naw.

Ferid watched in amusement.

"HE DOESN'T LOVE YOU!WHAT DOES HE EVEN SEE IN THAT UGLY ASS FACE OF YOURS!YOU'RE JUST ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE H#ES THAT WANT A MAN TO F^-^ WITH!YOU THINK HE LOVES YOU!?THAT'S PATHETI-AAGHHHH."

Kayana kicked Ella into a wall making her bones crack and her gasp for air painfully.

"Damn....You got a filthy mouth." She mused.

"Only Honey (Nanbaka) can make that attractive.You on the other hand-It's quite revolting."

"I will not take trash talk from an insolent swine like you.Beauty is all but a lie,as clearly you should know yoh are lacking in that department as of know,I mean sorry for messing up your face but yah ain't pretty anymore,darling.All you have is a wall with beautiful grafiti on the outside but foul garbage and rotten corpses on the inside.You're trash.Go die and rot in a hole.He's mine."

Ella couldn't talk nor move.Her body felt weak.Her bones were broken.It hurt.She watched as Kayana and Ferid continued in her presence.The didn't care.She wanted to cry.

"Mhmm~You're so soft~"

"Yeah but something about you is quite the opposite.Let's go deal with that in my quaters..."

Lmao.Ella didn't die.She was saved by Kayana-sama who took her to the health institute.She made sure Ella got fixed up properly and treated well.
Even though it was well known thag,Ella had a brother who seemed to be missing.
He,like many boys  had a crush on Kayana and told lord Ferid he was going to make her his upon meeting him.And then he just vanished.

What really did happen to him?
