Kayana pov

I was just about finishing  up a cake in a cafe when all of a sudden the man accross me collapsed after a series of gasps and painful yelling which were his last words.

W-what!?

"Someone!Help!" I exclaimed in fake worry.I didn't care really but I surely wouldn't want thag body to stay there whilst I ate.I thought maybe he had a heart attack or something.

But there honestly wasn't even any need for fake worry because the others collapsed to.

It was a horrific sight to see. Trains were crashing and Blood spilled everywhere. It made me thirsty and It was so temting to drink.

But I don't drink from any other than Progenitors or my assigned gaurds.

I was getting startled by all the sudden noises and cries.Enhanced hearing could be a pain at times.
I didn't know what crazy disease that was but I wasn't bound to catch it so I got up and ran off to find Lacus and Rene. My guards.

...

All I could say was .Chaos. Chaos. Chaos!! Planes crashing and catching afire then blowing up and killing those in -and around it. The poor little children didn't know what to do. It was tragic really. What were the humans up to?or was it vampires? The remaining children on the streets bawled their eyes out. And the other teens who were there either out with friends or whatever dropped dead also. They cried out for help before they died but even the ambulance and hospital workers who were in the hosoital ,which a car crashed into and blew up and then the building collapsed.The people and corpses underneath were crushed creating a bloodbath. Their last words were inaudible.

. Cars ceased and those moving were crashing about. Slaughtering hundreds of peopele . I needed to get away from the maddness. I had a few near misses and I wouldn't want to get hurt or killed.

I sniffed the air for their scents and was lucky enought to get a whift even with all the other blood scents wavering in the air.

They were located amongst a more peaceful neighbourhood.

"Rene-kun!Lacus-kun!" I called out reaching them in lightning speed.

"Oh Kayana-chan~ I thought you left us." Lacus chimed patting my head gently.

I sweatdropped buy smiled at him anyway.

"I technically did but it's chaotic out there and well I didn't exactly know what to do..."

Rene picked me up and held me bridal style.
Oh damn he's such a prince charming.

I used my hands to wrap around his neck in a comfortable position.

Lacus scoffed in the back.

"You guys. We have the opportunity to drink as much blood as we want and you decide to do a princess and prince scene instead." Lacus scoffed with judging look and a hand on his hip leaning all his weight on one side.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Well he is a turn on..." I argued .I am hanging out with Ferid too much.Please forgive me.I am so sorry.

"What!?"

"Whatever Lacus. Lead the way." I replied waving him off.

"As you wish."

I sighed and observed how the children could be heard crying from other houses.Kids really are loud or mayne it's just the fact that my senses are sharper ?

I remembered how I felt when I lost my family. All that saddness and pain. The stupid fire took my family away,tsk.This is probally what those kids felt like. Hopeless and sad .

The burning flesh in the distance smelled absolutely horrible.It was putrid.

I leaned my head on Rene's firm chest and sighed.
"Rene. " I called.

He hummed in response but looked ahead still.

" Do you like children?" I asked using my hand to move his hair out of his pale face.His eyes twinkled due to the light provided my street lamps.

He stayed silent for a while.

"No. Why do you ask?" He replied softly

"Well. Lacus is quite childish when he's ready and you put up with him quite well so I assumed maybe your secretly a children's guy."

"What's a children's guy? Also I got used to Lacus' antics after a while."

"Well I dunno. Someone who's good with kids I guess." I answered.

He grunted.

"I hate kids. They're annoying and weak." He admitted.

#Roasted to the kids.

I nodded. Well I would expect that answer.

"Well...I don't hate them but sometimes they can be bratty." I agreed.

"Why the sudden question?" He inquired.

"Hm. Well I guess I kinda feel sorry for the kids. Seeing the chaotic predicament we're in."

"Well there's nothing we can do."

"Yeah..."

...

I told him he could put me down when we arrived our destination.I thanked him when he did and went to Lacus' side.

"So Lacus." I said holding  onto his wrist .

"Hai?" He responded.

" What exactly are you gonna do?" I asked him.

"With your permission of course. I'm going to get something to drink~" He replied slyly.

"Hm. You know you don't need my permission Lacus but anyway. Go ahead and don't get aroused by the smell. " I said opening the door to the house. He gets a it wild...y'know.His thirst get's out of contol.
He smirked and kissed my nose.

"Thank you Kayana-chan but you're the only one that can arouse me~"

He chuckled and walked into the house.

I held in my blush and went to back Rene grumbling random threats. Why did I say that in the first place?!

All these scents of blood in the air . It was tempting to suck the kids dry at that moment but if I did  I'd lose my humanity. It's like the corpses were teasing me.

Of course I knew Lacus couldn't contain himself. He needed to drink to his heart's content so I let him do it because he wouldn't get many opportunities like this.

Rene had a distant look of thirst. But he was more controlled than Lacus so he didn't go for the soon-to-be  livestocks,I assume. He probally decided he'd wait but I didn't want him starving. He'd get blood eventually  but with all the duties and work he'd have to do.It would ne a while.

With a sigh,I went to stand in front of him . He was leaned up against the wall of the house with his usual bored and uninterested look.

"Are you thirsty. You can get a drink of you like." I said pointing to all the houses that weren't in complete chaos.

He shook his head,his dark locks swaying as he did so.

"I'm fine. I don't want to ."

More like you don't want to show your wild side. But I can handle that.

I sighed and unbottuned my shirt slightly from the back.He stared wide-eyed for a moment but composed himself.

"What are you doing?"

I then tugged on his arm lightly.

"Go ahead Rene . Help yourself to some blood. " I muttered leading his head to my neck

He shook his head .

"It's fine Kayana-sama. There-

"Rene. Go on and drink. I don't want you being thirsty. There's much to be done." I said tracing his jawline with my fingers.I pulled his chin further.

He sighed and finally gave in to his thirst.

"Thanks." He said before pushing me to the wall gently.

He bent down and held me in place by wrapping his arms around me and with a sudden movement he bit into my neck. He did it gently but it still hurt.

I squeeked slightly and held back tears. No matter how many times people have drunk. It still hurt for some reason but whatever.

The pain was there for quite  a while but for him,I ignored it.

"Make sure and drink as much as you like. My cells regenerate quickly." I moaned due to the sensual feeling I got. It was so weird. I could feel his cold lips on the wound. Everytime he took a sip it would make me shiver and his hands were comforting.

He nodded in response and continued drinking also blushing. He was privaledged. Only one of four vampires out of many. Who were blessed with permission to drink from me.

Rene had finished restoring himself of energy and blood and began to drag his tongue over the wound slowly so blood wouldn't stain my silky lilac shirt . I had tried to keep my mouth shut but then. Karma came at me for no reason when he got a nice spot.

"R-rene mnn~" The way I said it was not the most appropriate. I am so sorry!!Oh no

He just shrugged it off. Good.
...

he was about to wipe the remaining off but

I licked the remaining blood of his lips.

I bet he got accustomed to it. Anyways.

"Lacus must be in there still. Let's go." He said.

And then we went into the house.

There was nothing much in it really. It was pretty decent and stuff but inactive.

"He must be upsatirs." Rene concluded after hearing a few frightened screams and a laugh .

"Ok." I replied and followed after him .

As per usual there he was with his grin.

"Oh what a cute little livestock~" he sang teasingly.

"I would've played more but it's time for me to go~Bye Bye~"
There were rivers of tears flowing down her face and she struggled in his grip. It was a bit gruesome to watch because she was a little child.

I felt bad but at the same time I kept on a cold expression and walked towards him as he sucked the life out of her. If he contained himself maybe she could've lived.

I smelt another presence but paid no heed. I looked at the shelves and stuff.

Rene came and shortly said we were being called to the HQ to report

Annoyed Lacus kept drinking .

Thump

After he drank the last bit of blood ,Lacus dumped the lifeless body to the side.

He sighed in contempt.

"Well you two surely took your sweet time. I was starting to think you were doing other things~" he mused turning to face us.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards him. I then put my hand on his waist leaned onto his back.

"Well. You took your sweet time too. Anyway." I muttered looking at the corpse.

"Are you still thirsty?" I asked.

He smiled.

"Well..." He started almost making Rene face-palm.

I chuckled.

"Tonight you can drink as much as you want . So if you're thirsty or even if you just  want to. Go ahead. " I said.

"Well...I'll just be drinking some of you. It's unfair that Rene got to and I didn't." He chimed.

"That's cause Rene needed." I said with a sigh.

He shrugged .

"I'll be outside." Rene informed.

"Ok. We won't be long." I replied moving myself.

"Ok. Go ahead Lacus." I said.

He grinned and licked his lips.

His fangs playfully grazed my neck. It still hurt from Rene's bite.

"Did Rene drink from this side?" He asked.

"Y-yeah." I replied.

"Hm~Well this side for me then." He sang. Biting me on the opposite side.

I moaned unintentionally and gripped his clothing until the pain got numb and subsuded for a while as he slurped in a pleasurable manner. 

...

I started getting dizzy so I pushed his head away with great struggle . I lost my focus because of my drowsiness but I did in the end making him pout.

"Aw~So soon." He muttered sadly licking his lips.

"I'm dizzy.  You almost sucked me out." I said leaning on him for support.

"My mistake Kayana-chan." He said holding me securely.

I  took some time to catch myself.

"Hm~I enjoyed that. Now. What next shall we do?" I asked..
"We follow your orders now. And we also have to report to HQ." Lacus said.

My fingers crawled up to his chest and circled it. Then I gave him a small shove making him grunt.

"Wait for me downstairs along with Rene. I'll be there in a few." I ordered.

"Was that shove necessary?" He asked drammatically.

I chuckled.

"Yes it was ." I replied.

He just gave me a look and left to meet outside with Rene..

I looked at the lifeless girl and sighed.

"Such a pity. " I murmered looking around the room. Then I heard a little sniffle.

"Hm?"

It sounded like if it came from underneath the bed.

I got into the floor and cawled the bed. There was indeed a child under the bed and he was crying.

"P-p-p-p-" he stuttered and moved away.

I stared at his olive green eyes and it seemed as if time froze.

He was in tears and had a look of grief and sorrow.

"P-p-please. D-d-don't k-kill m-m-e-e." He stammered cowering in fear.

"Kill  you?" I repeated.

He still continued crying.

Well. I did something. Silly. I dragged him out from under the bed and pulled him up.

He began crying more and clawed at me trying to get out of my grasp.

He is soooo cute.

I sat and placed him on my lap and gave the 8 year old,I assumed  biiig hug.

"There there. No need to worry. I won't hurt you." I comforted massaging his brown hair soothingly.

He still sniffled.

"D-don't t-touch m-m-m-me!" He said trying to get away.

Omg. That's even cuter!!Can I keep him.

I sighed and pulled his cheeks gently and kissing them affectionalely.

"Hey there ,Little one. Shh. It's alright. I won't hurt or kill you." I cooed comfortingly.

"Y-you p-promise?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Promise. "

And I kissed his fore-head.

"Here. Do you want a cookie?" I asked. He looked at me with his doll eyes and nodded.

"D-do y-you have a cookie?" He asked. I nodded.
The one from the cafe.

I took it from my pocket. It was wrapped in paper and cling wrap.

"Here." I said giving it to him.

He smiled a bit.

"I'm sorry about your sister. She looked really pretty and nice." I said grimly almost making him cry again. But I let him cry. I let him release all his emotions out.

I lost Shiro. I was devastated. I needed a friend but. I was lonely.

"You cute little cinnamon-roll. Don't worry. Everything will work out and you'll be okay." I assured.

I cupped his face and wiped off his tears with a loving gaze.

He nuzzled his head into my chest and thanked me.

"No problem. When it's over . Someone will rescue you and you'll be safe. For now. Stay and be quiet so they won't find you. Ok." I said.

He nodded . And clenched my shirt

"Make sure and don't move until someone comes for you." I whispered just as I closed the door

"What took you so long?" Lacus whined latchong onto me.

I shrugged.

"I wanted souveneirs." I responded plainly almost dry humour.

"Why ?" Lacus asked.

I shrugged again.

He just sighed at me dismissing the odd amount of salt he smeeled off of me.

"Oh whatever. Anyway you must be thirsty. Why don't you go drink some fom one of the untaken livestocks?" He sugggested.

"I don't drink humam blood."  I bluntly stated.

I got a look from him.

"I think you should drink. We both took from you. You must be exhausted." He said.

"You can drink from one of us." Rene suggested.

"You guys just drank. I can't do that." I replied..

Lacus knelt beside me.

"Dear. You rather starve?What a weirdo. Drink." He demanded sternly with a glare.

I sweated nervoulsy.

"But Lacus..." I mumbled.

Rene got impatient and flicked me.

"Do it." He grunted.

I sighed slightly frightened by his glare.

"O-ok. " I said and  drank from Lacus' finger.

He smiled down at me
"My~My~. I never thought this day'd come." He teased.

"Shut up Lacus." Rene said.

He  huffed and kept quiet. He savoured the feeling he was getting. Till I was done. This time Lacus licked the blood off my lips Because he could. Nkw that J felt completely regenerated I was reasy for our next task.

"So where to now?" I asked.

"Well I guess to where all the vampires are."  Rene replied.

"Or.well let's go."
