Kayana's pov

Of course despite all the meetings,and whatnot we have been here for a week in total. To be very honest it wasn't as disgusting as I thought it would be and Ky and I did have fun to a certain degree. We learnt new stuff,some magic and some history,that even Ky didn't know. Of course he found most amusement in humans and how foolish we are,but what can I say. At one point in time I attended school just like them,however school for me was a nightmare. An absolute nightmare.
Being shoved around by kids and tecahers alike. How ironic is it that some of those very same kids ended up in Sanguinem,under my feet for once. As much as I proffered them dead,nothing brought more joy to me than seeing their miserable faces as I played around with the nobles,watching them live their worthless lives,serving those who are truly superior.
A race that doesn't sacrifice their own for their own selfish need,a race that follows rules to maintain order,a race with dignity,elegance,beauty and despite being beasts by nature,at least have the decency not to take advantage of others just for being selfish.

As any normal dark and gloomy day in Sanguinem would be
Kayana ,Lacus and Rene were sitting on a staircase,she felt the cracks on the stairs as they both sat in silence,well,of course Lacus spoke occassionally but she sleepily held her head against Rene's chest,boredly tracing the design if his uniform.

"So,wait. Lacus,do you like have a blood fetish or....?"

"-I- a what?"

"A blood fetish,Like Does it make you go off?" She repeated,finding it amusing how his face scrunched up at her question but then he rose an eyebrow

"Don't we all?"

"I don't know,what about Rene,he's way more composed than you are." She looked up,to find the male frowning.

"No,I don't have....a blood fetish.Blood is just as good to all of us as your favourite food....perhaps cake?The only
difference is that we need blood to survive whereas you have the choice to eat as you please,and Lacus is just an uncontrollable beast when it comes to his thirst..."

"What!?Hey,I am not." He countered pouting childishly

"You kind of are though.My dear Rene over here is such a good boy and follows all the rules,however I always have to cover up for your shit because you can't keep your thirst in check!" She said,jabbing a finger onto his chest,

"Oh please,that was just once....or twice....or maybe more than that but that's besides the point..."

"And you're just as bad,but you get to drink from nobles...and directly from us if you want,don't you get off on that?"

"I-no....No way."  She stuck out her tongue and turned away.

"I know it feels good Kayana,that's why we're forbidden from doing it." he quipped in a sing song voice.

"...okay,well it does but that's beside the point."

"Hah,so you see,we all have it,in one way or another,I'm sure Rene enjoys drinking your blood,but he won't show it."

"Hmmm...I suppose I do,however I would never dare to touch the Lady,never the less drink from her without being granted her permission first." He said,voice as  monotonous as can be however,he did quirk his lips upwards when Lacus rolled his eyes,mocking him by making princely gestures.

"See." Kayana said,she put her hand on his neck,scratching it with her finger.

"This is why I love Rene,he's such a darling." She moved up to kiss his neck,enjoying the feeling of his arms when they wrapped around her waist.She felt the mark of her demon pulse .

"Plus I'm sure he's a better kisser than you are,the silent ones always are..."

"Hah,I would think not." The purple haired male disagreed.

"Rene,kiss me."she demanded.

What she didn't expect was his immediate reaction.

Rene's kiss,was indeed as sinful as can be. And yes,that did prove that the quiet one,in this case Rene surely was a better kisser than Lacus was.Finding it great enough,he curved his mouth letting her tongue brush against his fanged teeth, and as she groaned he pushed further.

But he soon pulled away,in one minute precisely,holding his plain facial expression,but surely he found amusement at Lacus's disgust,and shock.

"Did you have to do that in front of my face?And once when were you so bold,going on about all this I'd never touch her,but you were so eager!"

"Yes,so you could see with your own eyes,darling,and Rene,you really need to do that more often....Seriously."She flashed him a jokingly seductive smirk.

"You truly are a succubus... Aren't you." He commented with a deadpan.

"What can I s-

"Oh,look at that,I think we have company."

"Hm?Company at this hour?"

When no one responded,Lacus sighed in annoyance.

"This is why I hate kids." He grumbled.

He got up swiftly and walked towards a pillar,his cape swiveled dramatically.

Kayana and Rene said nothing,but watched in curiosity.

Soon enough he returned,but in a tight chokehold,was a girl,a pretty mature girl,who looked to be around Kayana's age,and her eyes looked frightened.

"Look I caught a mouse,out past curfew and sneaking around,not so discreetly. What shall I do with her,My lady?"

Kayana leaned back onto Rene's chest.

"Well,luckily for her,she bumped into me so I won't be h-

'She looks familiar.....' she then thought,pausing for a moment,her brows furrowed as she thoroughly inspected her.

"K-Kayana!What the hell!?" Her own thoughts were caught off by the shrill of the girl.

Lacus groaned and gripped tighter

"It's Lady Shiona to you,Livestock." He growled.

"What,since wh-yes yes sorry,how are you still alive!?Ack-wait I-I too t-tight."

"Lacus,you can grip her less roughly,Thanks though,darling."

"Of course,but mind your manners or else." He warned with a smile,she nodded her head vigorously.

"How the he-How did you ....I thought you were dead,what about the fire?."

Flashback in a flashback

At this point the news of the fire had gotten out and about as hmKayana's father was a well known scientist and her mother was known to be a good doctor,and though very few remains were found,they were able to identify a male and female adult

However the bones of the children were nowhere to be found,and that puzzled many people,and where there is confusion there is a morbid sense of curiosity that leads to sensation and so came  the Mystery of the Shiona household fire.

So many different theories and stories came in,and of course it had an affect on school life also,with reporters swarming schools to find out about the infamous Kayana who they alleged started the fire,or ran away to protect her brother who accidentally started it.

Overall,the new was quite shocking to alot,as they knew Kayana to be the quite intelligent kid who sat in the back,never spoke,never socialized,however she was a kind soul who they knew many took advantage of.

Now that she was dead,they seemed to have changed,because someone pointed out

"you FUCKING idiots. If she died this young and the last thing she though about was you SHIT ASS faces as you bullied her I will Fucking murder all of you stupid fucks."

"Watch you l-

"No,you shut up you bitch. You knew what was happening but you didn't care. Fuck off. "

That girl was named Aika,however during the catastrophe,she was hit by a speeding car and didn't make it. Kayana's teacher died in a plane crash,

Half of her classmates died in various ways,starvation,suicide,disease,murder, however of the few that survived,there was

Utsukushi hana

Her biggest enemy.

Of course Aika's words echoed throughout her head for all those years,and when the world came crashing down,and she experienced the effects of death on a large scale,she began to feel even more remorseful,almost to the point where she took her own life,but she realised she had people,young people to look after,and that she'd try to make it better,help instead of harm.

Everything hit Kayana like a train wreck,all the abuse,hurtful words,tainting damaging of her property.

And her carefree expression went cold as ice.

"What are you doing out of your designated room past curfew?" She asked.

"I...I uh."

All it took was one glance at her neck. She knew.

"Answer me now girl."

"I-I was at Lord Bathory's  mansion-

"Oh really?"

"Yes.'

"At this hour?" She smirked at her obvious discomfort and stull shocked form.

'Ferid's  back at his shit but honestly can I really be jealous,the girl is prettier than I am,so what can I do.'

"Yes,well you see he ordered me to." She said.

Lacus,raised an eyebrow.

"That man never does give it a rest,does he,and oh the little girl has a bite mark." 

"Huh,wow."

Kayana looked unimpressed,she frowned.

"You were still out after curfew though,and that's against the rules."

"Look I know but Lor-

"But Lord this and Lord that-You put yourself in this shit."

"B-wait.K-ka-

"Lady."

"No way,she's a human. What are you doing to her?!"

"Uh,she not and she's a noble,not a livestock."

"The Kayana I know would never b-

" And Who the hell,exactly is the Kayana you know ?" She asked,finding interest.

By now she realised who she was,and was almost tempted to kill her then but she knew that wouldn't solve her problems,or fix her past and now she was surrounded by people who she had power over.

"I-I uh well. You remember me right?"

"Unfortunately. Kinda hope you died but I guess you're alive."

"No but you died.Not that i wanted you too or anything,but I'm just confused,how-

"Do you know her?" Rene interrupted as the girl proceeded to mumble to herself.

"She's the main reason why I hated myself,and hate my species,or former...a disgusting disgrace,and her gang of shitbags....where even are they?Are they still alive?"

"I-I.....but how. You died!Wait did you light the house in fire and escape!?Did you murder your parents!?"

"Huh?Fire?"  Lacus frowned

"Just what on earth are you going on about...."

"Oh,well you see ,back above ground where I still lived amongst human society before the virus my house caught in fire,I van't recall how. All I remembered was waking up and seeing my house engulfed in flames. By them I panicked and I rushed out my room and all I could smell was burning flesh amd furniture. I heard my brother crying,Shiro,he's now a  vampire,and I went to get him and I ran out,however I believe Ferid and a few guards lowkey kidnapped me and brought me here....and well everything was a bit hazy from then. That's why I'm here."

"Oh,I see."  Lacus commented.

"I-Lord Ferid  rescued YOU. That could never be!"

"Believe if you want,don't believe it if you want,but it doesn't change the truth. "

"I-but. How. WAIT So that means you're important!?"

"Lady Kayana,what is wrong with your species." Rene asked in disbelief.

As far as he was concerned,this was bot how you apologize to someone who was presumed dead after you tormented their life,even in vampire life. With the exceptions of course but she was no psychopath ,she was brat.

"Not my species dear. Us half and halfs don't belong in any grouping ,and as for this reunion,I am not pleased,she will serve out the curfew's punishment-

"PLEASE I'M DOING IT FOR MY FAM-

"Fuck you.I attended school to get an education so that one day I could get away from mine but people like you hinder others,destroy their lives,then switch up amd change whilst your victims suffer in silence and slip through the cracks,However in this world I am no longer at the bottom. Call it cruel if you want,but rules are rules,for those at the botton,at least."

.......flashback......

Kayana lay on the floor of the classroom with many bruises littered across her skin.Beside her,stood a group of girls,they were all crying,whereas she was fuming and crying.

"Kayana,you are suspended for a weak
You know it's against the rules to touch other people's property.

"B-but Miss she stole my b-book...."

"Yes,but it was wrong you for to go into her bag to take it back,of course she would defend her propert-

"IT'S NOT HER'S !!"

"SHUT UP AND DON'T SPEAK TO ME THAT WAY."

Of course,she cried.

And the last thing she remembered was that sickening childlike  voice.

"Rules are rules,for those at the bottom at least."

"Lacus,be a dear and take her to the tower,have her file in her report and all and I'll examine it later."

"Of course,Bit you must fill me in on that entire story,I am quite curious,and will Rene be coming also?"

She took a quick glance at the male.
He quirked a brow and she couldn't help bit smirk.

"No he won't,I have other plans for him."

Back to present

'But at any rate,It was ling enough and time to strike.This magic school will be no more as of tomorrow-'

"Hey,Kayana.....I know we just met and all but I really think I enjoy your presence."

Speaking to her right now was the blonde male she had acquainted herself with for quite a while during her stay.

His cheeks were flushed,and he bit his lip nervously.

"So uh,I was thinking would you like to have a few drinks with me and m-maybe uh....we can chat for a bit?"

'He'll be dead tomorrow,At least I can humor him.'

"Sure."

Biography**:Kazuhiro,formerly known as Harmonia Aegeus was a humble Shepherd boy from the Mycenaean Greece phase of greece  .{The last phase of the bronze age} .
He was very brave,strong and talented but he was always in the shadows of his older brother Andreas,who was a very handsome and well respected soldier.                                                                                          Unfortunately during his life on the fields , he came accross a female vampire who fell inlove and soon obssessed with him,and even turned him into a vampire so they cold live together forever,however one day out of desperation he took a bribe and slept with a witch as a price to pay for medicine to save his brother’s life and in the end  the heartbroken and angry female vampire murdered his brother and ripped out Harmonia’s heart,turnung him into a demon and cursed weapon.
Kayana did find him,but Ferid orchestrated the plan after finding out about him through a legend told by village kids he came accross.By placing the demon into the way of her father,he was sure he would experiment on it amd unknowingly placed him into a contract with Kayana by gifting her tiny necklace that she never takes off.
