Kayana's pov

After taking a good look at the surroundings I stepped into Lord Ky's mansion. I couldn't help but admire the beautiful ,rich and diverse artwork. Ferid was filthy stinking rich but Ky  was filthy stinking irritatingly rich.

"I'm by far amazed.This interior design is extravagant." I said in complete astonishment. My eyes darted from side-to-side as they scanned every inch of space revealed to it  taking in every crack,and every perfection.

Ky smiled in amusement

"Ah well thank you. I am glad you like my tastes Kayana-sama." He said walking with his hands folded behind his back.

I almost blushed

"Eh, well I'm glad t-oh wow!!That's the cutest little doggie I've ever seen!!"

He has a doggie.

Awww. Cute!!

"What's his name Ky-san?" I asked teleporting to the floofball and picking him up. Where did he even get this?

"Well~I named him Ky jr." I giggled at the name.

"That's so cute." I said patting Ky jr's head.

He laughed.

"I haven't met a vampire who likes animals or even got one. Why do you have a dog?" I asked.

He put fis finger on his chin and rubbed it.

"Ah wwll I guess I just found it and wanted to keep it for fun. There really isn't any reason." He said.

I nodded.

"Bark!" Aoooiooiiowjdhdosoaidu.

"Whose a cute little doggieeee?"

Ky looked with an akward expression.

"Sorry bruh. I just love cute things... (like urself and Lest)"

He laughed.

"Well thats a first." He mused. Lest hated his dog ever since it bit his hat.

I chuckled as Ky Jr. Licked my face.

"Ever wondered what would happen if you feed a dog vampire blood...."

Ky stared at me bewildered. '
So she was faking her love for animals?'

"Um. Don't experiment on my dog please." He said .

I chuckled.

"Don't worry,like I said. I wouldn't hurt a floofy poofy."

Lord Ky is soooooooo hot and I just feel like trash.

Oh my gosh. He has a pool for no reason and like he's wearing swimming clothes and I am trying not to die here.

Ok. *breathe.* Keep it together.

"You really know how to entertain yourself don't cha. " I said from the terrace. He was right next to me. Like right next to me as in. Like riiight next to me!!!!!Oh my gosh.

He leaned against the railing.

"Yeah~the others are missing out on the fun~I love pools." He replied. The vampire guards were stationed by the doors.

"You are dissmissed. Just have the entrance secured." Ky commanded turning his attention to them. They nodded and bowed.

"Yes Lord." The responded obediently.

I sighed in contempt as the winds blew my hair making it flail gently. My cheeks were painted with a rose colour due to my inside head blushing fit.

"There's a changing room down the hall. You can use it if you want." He offered fortunately not realising I'm oogling over him.

I can just imagine Ferid saying some shit like
"Or if you want you can change in front of me I wouldn't
mind at all or some other shit like you can swim without clothes." And I can see myself slapping him.

I shook off my toughts.

"Yeah sure. Thanks ." I said.

That's my swimsuit. (Or any colour u like or whateva)

It was a comfortable fit for me so I bought it a while back. To relax in my hot tub,yuh know.

So Ky just be sitting down on a floating chair. Dem abs be fine and -what am I thinking!! I apologize.It is better for me to just shut up.

"Oh wow. You look hot in that~"

And this is where it happens again.

Keeping my composure I smiled at his compliment.

"Why thank you. " I replied.

He chuckled, almost laughing and pinched my cheeks. Oh his hands are sooooooo smoothe and soft and -

"Mhm. This water is so warm." I muttered swishing around gently so that I wouldn't wet him.

There were a few servants around. For some strange reason the guys were looking our direction. And staring us down like well..vampires eyeing a human.

Weird.

I climbed atop one of the floating chairs.

"Would you like something to drink?" Ky asked laying his head on his arms which were crossed behind his back.

I turned my body to face him. I now leaned on the side of my body rather than on my back or stomach.

"What's on the bar menue?" I teased.

"I heard you don't drink human blood so I have some of mine for you. If you would like." He said .

So polite!!!

"Thank you ,That would be nice."

Deep thoughts. Kazu hasn't talked to me for a while now. How is it that I'm enjoying life so much yet there are so many people suffering. Why is that. Supose there are kids out there who survived the virus but need help....how would I help them. On top of that why did Ferid make a map...I'm getting slightly concerned. I don't know. I just have this gut feeling.

For now. I can just enjoy life because something is signalling me that it wouldn't last for long. All this unknown history. Secrets deception and I'm a perfect pawn in the hands of the. devil himself. He has me like a puppet on strings. Tugging at my heart and my life yet I never ever deny him. Ferid has me where he wants and needs me. I don't know his this battle is gonna play out but I'm scared. I don't know what I should do.

"Kayana-sama~"

"Kayanaa~sammaaaa~"

"Hm?" I replied opening my eyes which were previously closed.

"You almost fell asleep . Here you go." He said handing me a glass. That smell, the smell of rise red metallic blood. It looked so ravishing and refreshing.

I placed my hand out to take it.

"Your blood smells divine." I complimented eyeing the glass. The colour was almost as a rose just with a hint of a golden kick.

"Why thank you. I must say yours smells quite tempting for a vampire. Are you a vampire?" He asked yawning lazily.

He stirred his glass around by shaking it lightly.
Mhm. That blood also smelt good but I was satisfied with what I had. I wouldn't drink human blood.

"Well no not fully. I prefer vampire progenitor's blood than human."

I put the golden goblet to my lips and tilted it upwards and as soon as the red liquid made contact with my tongue I shivered and blushed. Forget ice-cream. This is just marvellous. It's like my wontons to me.

But I couldn't really express my love for this blood.

I took another sip of it and rest in down on the cup holder.

I enjoyed bathing in the sun. It was so different from Sanguinem. So shiny and bright. Vitamin D. Yes.

"Does it taste good?" Ky inquired resting down his empty cup.

"It does, I never thought vampires blood taste good but I guess progenitors do."

He hummed and gave the servant his cup.

I also finished off mine and gave it to the servant who kept his eyes on my chest.... why was he doing that....boi.

Pool time was the best ever. I feel so awesome. Heez. That *jacouzee* was nice.

I gathered up my papers and exited the Carrige. I was back at Urd's mansion.

"Your majesty, I have come to do my reports on the livestock. Is there anything in particular you would like me to note?" I asked bowing on my knees as a sign of respect.

"You may rise and no there isn't. Just make sure there are no diseases of any sort." He said.

"Yes your majesty." I obediently responded. I took my hands out to wave at Lest also. He gave me a bland nod in return. I smiled and followed them into the city with the children.

Lest Kar had to go attend to some duties so he left. Urd and I remained so I didn't bother striking up a conversation.

We walked in a comfortable silence. I saw little
Children playing about and they didn't look as dead as the ones in Sanguinem. That's the first thing I noted.

They didn't run away. Most stepped aside for us but they weren't bawling their eyes out like those back at home.

"You highness, have there been any gangs withing the children?" I asked.

"Call me by my first name if you like and yes there have." Urd said bluntly ,finally breaking the silence.

It almost sounded like a command but that was probally due to his authorative aura and tone.

"Yes Geales-san and how old are the kids in the gangs?"

"16 years and 15. " he replied. His voice is so smoothe.

" I see."

I continued scribbling. The older kids tend to get rebellious due to age and blah blah blah. I bet they've raped a kid or two. I'll habe to make sure that is delt with.

As we walked among the kids. Some actually waved to us,well more to him than me. I got some cautious glances and I assume that's because I'm a complete stranger.

My expression kept on a monetone like facade.

I avoided the gazes of the children and wrote down in my files all that was need to be done,all that was already done and all that was preparing to be done.

"Geales-san, where do you do your blood drives?" I asked. That's the best way. Smell their blood.

"The western wing." He replied

"The next blood drive. I need a sample of everyone's blood separately, please. " I requested.

He hummed.

"As you wish. When will your report be completed by?" He asked.

"I'll have it done by this week ." I replied.

I glanced at a little girl who was sitting on the ground with a flower crown in her hands. It was a beautiful creation.

I almost wanted to smile. I used to make those for my mother when I was younger... but she'd never keep them. She'd yell at me and tell me to fix her garden. I couldn't blame her, it was my fault.

The wind blew slighy and her crown blew away. She bagan to cry as she lookdd longingly ag her out of reach crown. Ah geez.

I teleported towards it and picked it up, I then returned to the girl.and placed it in her hands quikly before catching up to Urd.

The girl stopled crying and looked at her hands in disbelief. She was lost at sea
'How?' She pondered. However it happened she was surely happy.

Happiness huh. What a waste. If you get it take it and keep it cause after the storm leaves the aftermath. After the clearing and sunshine comes the storm. Its a pattern of chaos .

This one smells foul. Why is that? Is it just the actual blood or infected?

Time to use super eyesight.

This person has been consiming too much salt. The blood is basically salt-laiden. That's not good. He/she could get high blood pressure and possibly die. I'll just documemt that and maybe a few mkre things.

Like rats. Kids like fluffy things and would probally play with a rat. Rats bring plagues and diseases. Infact rats brought one of the most deadliest pla-infact the most dealy plague to ever exist. The bubonic plague or as we mostly know it, Black Death.

So no rodents, The girls need supplies to take care of themselves so that would need to be organized.

Other than that we don't have any issues. A few rebels and some dumbasses but this place is ok.

I scribbled down my last few words and put my pen down after. I let out a contempted sigh and leaned back in my chair.

"Kazu, are you here?" I asked hoping for a response.

Unfortunately I got non. He has been ignoring me these past few days for some odd reason but whatever.

I closed my eyes and yawned tiredly. All those paperwork has me beat and because I'm a nice person I simplified and organized them all so it would be easy for the next person to read. Hm.

A nap sounds nice.....

The white painted walls with over the top carvings and patterns stood out more than anything there. Do you want to know why?

It was no longer white. Makes no sense right?

Well it wasn't white because it was covered in red. Red blood. The blood of little children. But who?

The voices were blurry and unclear. I couldn't make out what they were saying at all

I just got a bad vibe from the event.

It seemed off almost as if it were sinister.

Sinister- to give off the impression that something harmful or evil will happen or is happening.

Why is it that...I get that feeling off of it.

"Wakey~ wakey~ wakey~ The atmosphere is shaky~ The death in here is crazy~"

"Mommy~ mommy~ mommmy~ Is there a fire in the chimney~The place smells rather ashy~Oh look your burnt body~"

"Daddy ~daddy~daddy~ you are such a bady~ banging at the party~ I shoukd tell my mommy~"

The imaginary clouds darkened as soon as they came into view.

"Who ever said life only has limits when you put them there is a liar because the last time I checked. I never put any limits in my life. They were put there by others. They put them there because they knew we couldn't over come them. I never made the limit preventing me from saving the rest of my family. The person who created me and the endurance of a child did. "

My eyes opened slowly to the sound of a harsh yet soothing voice. Almost like the voice of a playful yet monetone child.

I took a second to adjust to the....darkness? Where's the light.

"M'lady ShionaKy Luc has arrived to drop you to his mansion." A male said.

Lest? What was he doing here?

I got up and bowed to him.

"Your majesty I apologize for having you reoeat yourself while I was asleep." I muttered audibly.

His guards were at his sides.
He looked blankly at me before nodding.

"It is alright. I wasn't in a rush ." He dissmissed ..

"Yes your majesty."

I quickly got up and took my files-Loads of them.

"Good bye Y-

"Lest is good thank you very much." He cut off. I see, the 'highness' and 'majesty' aint the thing here. Koolz.

"Good bye the Lest-sama." I said waving to him.

He nodded and walked off. How cold...

I sighed . Well at least I wouldn't have to make much effort to talk to him since he'd just wave me off.

I hopped into the carrige and sat diwn tiredly. I really wanted to sleep. I couldn't hold up for another 45 minutes.

"Hello Ky..." I greeted fatigueley

He glanced at me with a smirk.

"I see you've gotten your work cut out for you." He mused resting his head on the window .
The moonlight reflected on his face making his eyes shine almost like a ruby gemstone.

I nodded meekly and also lay my head on the window after resting my files down.

Europe is do open. I could actually feel the sun and the moon again.

I closed my eyes again drifting off to sleep but that position was so uncomfortable. I endured it anyway.

I felt for some odd reason my hair being messed with but maybe my mind was just toying with me. That should be the reason for that.

And also I feel much more comfortable....I think I'm gonna sleep now........

Meanwhile in Japan

Mika had just come back from his 'appointment' with Master Ferid. He just happened to stumble accross a map after searching for it. There he saw it on the shelf in his study. Very high up but reachable. He took note of it. He was the only child there at the time so Ferid would definately know it was him so he memorised the location and exited with a book.
Children were allowed to enter andd leave the study as they pleased but what if they were to see or find out something they shouldn't? That wouldn't end up well for them. Not only would their lives be in danger but the lives off those they get their blood taken for. No one really wanted to have that happen so they avoided it. All excet Mika. The young innocent Mika.
