Kayana pov

I felt so weird. I was in another nightmare. But this time it was different. I was in a lab. The walls were white and there were shelves with bottles containing various poisons and acids and whatnot. I was tied to a table. My body felt numb yet it burned . It hurt so much yet I couldn't even pin-point where it came from. Even though it was a dream I still felt it physically.

It was too much. It really did hurt and the wounds didn't heal. They stayed open. I didn't know what the cause was.

I began crying and squirmed a bit but that didn't help.

Nothing helped. Nothing at all. I tried biting my tongue, clocking, banging what little space I could with my restrictions. But it was all useless.

I woke up with a jolt. The first thing I did was get rid of the river my eyes created. I dried up my sweat and tears with a shaky hand and then sat back on the bed tilting my head up with a sigh.
I let out a tense breath and ran my hands through my hair.

I breathed in and out trying to calm myself down.

I still felt the pain. It lingered. But wasn't it a dream... how is this even possible.

Mika. How cute!!!

I smiled blankly as I skipped along my castle's hallways with little Mika. Why? Well he was mumbling to himself earlier about wishing to drink some soup that the 'director' made.

Because he was so cute I picked him up and brought him back to my mansion

"Um.. M'lady. We're going too fast!!" He cried out stumbling.

I grumbled in response.

"Okay okay! " I said and then slowed my pace,making sire he was okay with itm

"There. Now let me know what you want.you were nice to me when me met. And well...I guess I think you have many burdens seeing as you have such a big family.  Dad has to rest sometimes~" I teased ruffling his blonde locks.

He blushed and swatted my hand away .
#rejection.

"S-sorry. I-it's just that n-no one really does that to me so...if w-was kinda weird and sudden." He stuttered hiding his blushing face.

I nodded with a plain look.

"Well I'm glad. That way no one knows how soft your locks are." I replied.

He blushed even more.

"Uh. Thanks..."

I got bored. Ok. That's why I went and kidnapped Mikaela. I needed someone to bother and he seemed as if he wouldn't mind ...I think...

Anyways.

I had gotten some ingredients from the garden and was now in the kitchen .
Smol little Mika was sitting on the counter top worrying about his family so I sent in some troupes to kidnap them also. I know. They'd probally be bawling their eyes out but at least they get to be with Mika.

"Ok. Do you remember the recipe?" I asked.

He sighed.

"Erm...well....I wasn't the chef you see. Akane-chan would."  He explained.

I nodded.

"Ok. Well we wouldn't have to wait long ok. I have some people who should arrive at any moment now."

He gave a quizicall look. But then it got a bit scared.

"W-wait M'lady.Y-you aren't g-gonna e-eat me right?" He asked.

I gave a puzzled look.

"What?"

"Like suck my blood." He answered

I shook my head with a 'why would you even ask that.' Look.

"No. I don't do humans and like I said. I'm thanking you for the other day. To you it may not seem as much but it means the world to me for someone to sit and talk with me."

Oh geez. I sound like some sucky lone wolf trash.

A wave if releif washed over his features.

"O-oh. Ah sorry for assuming. And I guess it wasn't hard to approach you. I mean you did save one of my family members,M'lady"

I shook my head at him. I heard footsteos outside and other noises of crying or frightened children.

Well here they come.

The doors to the kitchen opened and the guards came in with them.

As usual greenie was causing a rukus but I guess I couldn't blame him this time.

And he got even more pissed off seeing Mikaela here.

I turned to the guards.
"Thanks for bringing them. You're free to leave now. " I said. They bowed and left after saying their respective goodbyes.

"Hey it's that noble shit from the other day!" Was the first thing Yuichiro said.
Oh this child.

I facelalmed.

"My name is not Noble shit. It is 'Kayana. Shiona.' That's M'lady to you."

Why the heck are those children crying? Can't they see I'm not gonna hurt them?

I facepalmed. Again.

"Ok. You can stop crying. I'm not gonna hurt ay of yall. I just needed to borrow Akane-san. Whick one of you is Akane?" I asked.

Timidly a girl with brown braided locks and matching eyes raised her hand.

"Lovely. I need a soup recipe please. I'm cooking with blondie over there but he doesn't know the recipe."

"Wait!Cooking?" Again. Interupted by Yu.

"Yes. I'm cooking."

"Vampires don't eat human food. This must be a joke." He objected.

The little ones hid behind him.

"Well it isn't. I eat human food cause I'm not a vampire.I'm an unfortunate hybrid"

He just sighed.

"Well......if you actually eat. I'll believe you."

I shrugged.

"Whatever. Just go in the kitchen before those kids start to cry again. Mikaela is worried about you." I said addressing all of them. I strotted over to the ingredients and started prepping them while they had their little reunion.

Humans confuse me.

"A-ano. Mika said you n-needed me to get the recipe." A shy voice squeeked.

I spun around.

" yeah." I replied shortly.

She walked in sloooowwwlyyy

What is this girl's problem. Can she possible walk any slower. Oh for the love of fudge!!

"Write down the recipe." I said and just went to do my own thing.

  She kept quiet which was good for me. No talking. Just pure silence. I didn't know where Mikaela was and I didn't care.

Remimd me why I was doing this?
No. Not because he was kind to me.

His family has the Seraph of the End. I think that's what you call it. Ferid kept this secret from me. I know he wouldn't tell me so I decided to do my own little research on it.

I beleive it is forbidden for vampires to tamper with the seraph  but I'm not a vampire.

I know Queen Krul has something to do with it also.

But that's as far as I know.

"So vampire...why exactly are you doing this? Is there anything you want from us?" Akane inquired a bit too confident.

"No. I just simply took a liking to Mikaela and don't address me as vampire. I am not a vampire. Further more Shiona will do." I  muttered.
She gave me a look.

"A-are you sure?P-please don't hurt my family."

I sighed and rkolled my eyes.

"Geez. I said I won't hurt any of you. It isn't too much to get into your empty brains!" I accidentally blurted out.

She began to whimper and ciwer at my harsh tone and choice of words.

Why u crying gurl. It wasn't that much of an insult. Get a life

I rolled my eyes. I'm not fucking apologizing.

I huffed and continued my stuff and she glared at my back.

Bille. I'm already annoyed at you . Piss off.

"Whag dies Mika even see in you. Your just another filthy vampire arrogant girl who wants to use us for fun." She spat.

I scrunched up my nose.

" kid. I'm not in any mood for arguing. Write down the recipe and help cook. That's an order or I'll have your head on my wall. Got that." I threatened.

She frowned and was about to cry more.

"Y-y-yes"

"Good."

Children are so damn annoying.

We got the recipe. We cooked it. I dunno where the others were.

"Does it taste good?" I asked Assane as she was still silent.

She looked at me skeptically and frightened still. The fudge. Gurl move the hell on.

"I-i d-don't know." She squeeked

"Well then..." I turned to get a spoon. I scooped some soup up and put it in a bowl.

"Try." I offered.

She took the bowl quickly and muttered a thank you.

I also tried some. As soon as it entered my mouth. My eyes lit up.

"Oh my gosh. This is soooo good!" I said and took another spoon.
She gaped at me.
'S-so she isn't a vampire.'

"Good job Akane. You can cook like a pro." I complimemted ignoring the fact I indirectly called her stupid a few moments ago.

She blushed slightly and stuttered out a thanks.

I'm assuming I scared her earlier but oh well. She annoyed me first.

"You can go call the rest and I'll set up the table." I offered.

She wasted no time to run away.

I shrugged.

I'm not a people's person anyway. Humans are too fragile. They'll get their hearts broken if they don't strengthen up.

As if you're one to talk. The same humans you're talking about are the ones you cry over.

Kazu.must you always be like this?

Just then  he appeared in the kitchen. He has a tail and two horns on top his head.

"Well. I didn't get to taste any." He whined taking up the spoon.

I sighed..
"Kazu. Do you even eat human food?" I asked annoyed.

He did a thinking motion.

"Ah. Well no. But there is a way." He responded.

His innocent smile sent a little warning to me.

"And what is that?" I asked cautiously.

He grinned and stepped closer to me.

"Well. I need to burrow some of your blood. " he said.

I eyed him with an uncertain expression.

"Why?"

He chuckled in response.

"Well. It alows non human being to eat human food. Including yourself.  Now come on. It won'f be much just a small sip. Please." He added

I sighed.

"Quickly. They might come and seeing someone well more like a demon drinking blood will have them questioning. You know how kids are."

He nodded.

"Thanks!" He beamed.

I smiled slightly...

I have such a unique demon.

He bit the middle of my neck,between my collorbone. And it hurt like crap.

I literally almost screamed.

He just took about three sios and released.
Though he used a vile to collect the excess flow of blood to not waste my delicious blood

"Are you collecting those vile things for a specific reason?" I asked .

He shook his head making his silver locks sway with him..

I just noticed something.

I reached my hand out to his face and pulled it nearer to mine gently,taking him by surprise. My purple orbs gave a hardcore stare that allowed me to notice something about him.
I used my finger to brush his hair out of his face

"What are y-y-

He was cut off by the children. As quickly as he appeared he disappeared.

I used my inhuman speed to set the table up before they came.

I was abke to get to know them a little morr. Akane and Yuichiro seemed to be on their toes so I had to give them chocolates to bribe them. It worked. Just that Yuichiro is a tsundere so it took waaay longer .

What I know so far about the seraph

The Hyakuya sect was experimented on secretly. So they all have the seraph gene.
Messing with it is taboo for humans and vampires. The experiment was the cause of the humans being decreased by at least 99%. Leaving only children under 13.

This was all I knew so far.

Maybe I can get some info outta Ferid. Hopefully I could. Maybe I'll try.
