Normal POV

After that moment he said yes, the bell rung for next period.

"See you later, Akashi-kun!" You chirped.

Akashi didn't reply.

"Well I guess someone's shy," you thought.

You leave the classroom, leaving Akashi behind. Next, all the eleventh graders (you, best friend and Akashi) had an assembly in the auditorium. You meant up with (bf/n) and sat towards the back.

As you took your seat, you wondered where Akashi was. A few minutes later, he walks in. Seeing that he's alone and there aren't many empty seats left, you wave at him signaling to him that there's an empty seat next to you.

Akashi sees you, and immediately turns away looking for an another seat.

He blushed a little.

"Why is this she waving at me like that?" He thought to himself.

He finally gave up on looking for another seat, and sat next to you. You were happy inside, but (bf/n) gives him the death stare, and he returns it. You feel tension between the two thickening.

"Oh boy, here comes round 3," you sigh.

"(y/n) why is mighty midget here?!" (Bf/n) asks.

"Akashi-kun and I are friends." You reply.

"Friends?! With Half Pint?! Is it the apocalypse or something?!" (Bf/n) exclaimed.

"Are you saying that me forming a friendship with (y/n) is a signal that world's ending?" Akashi joined in the conversation.

"Yes, he admitted that we're friends!!" You thought in your head.

"Yeah obviously! Why would anyone become friends with someone as triffling as you?! (Y/n) probably felt bad for you because you don't have friends." (Bf/n) blurted.

You didn't say anything because you knew that was kind of true. It was also because you're deeply in love with him, but before (bf/n) and Akashi could finish there feud, the assembly commenced.

The principal basically talked about the school rules don't do this don't do that blah blah blah. Then he said there's going to be a student council election, and this year the eleventh graders can run for president.

"If am president then we'd be able to do anything we want." (Bf/n) said.

"That's why you said if, meaning it's most likely not going to happen, and if you were president there would be chaos throughout the school." Akashi replied.

"Shut your trap, it's not like I'd have time anyway, I got basketball."

"Really because I'm playing basketball, and yet I'm running for president." Seijuro said arrogantly.

"That's because you're a uh..."

"You're a what? Looks like someone's run out of comebacks." The red head smirked.

"Tch,"

"That's what I thought,"

School is at long last over, and you and (bf/n) signed up for the girls basketball team.

Height: 5'9 (she's actually 5'8.5 but she rounded)

Position: power forward
Reason to play: Cuz I wanna do you have a problem what dat?!

Position: small forward or point guard, I play either position
Reason to play: because it's a good way to stay fit and do what I like at the same time, also I can meet new people.

"I can't wait to start tomorrow!" You proclaim.

"Yeah me either, now I have an excuse to miss detention!" (Bf/n) says blissfully.

"Ha, you always find away out of detention!"

"There's suppose to be some kind of girls basketball meeting in 15 minutes. You wanna go or nah." (Bf/n) informs you.

"Yeah, I think we should so we can meet the coach and the other players," you suggested.

"Ok,"

You and (best friend's name) walk to the gym. When you guys arrive, you see there are 20 other girls and two coaches, 1 female and 1 male.

The coaches talk about there goals for the team since this is the first year there is a girls basketball team at Rakuzan. The male coach announces that there will only be a varsity team, about half of the girls will be cut. Then the female coach explains that tryouts start tomorrow at 3:30pm sharp, and whoever is late will be automatically cut. The meeting is dismissed and everyone leaves.

"We got some competition, you think you'll get cut?" (Bf/n) questioned you.

"Hopefully not, what about you?"

"They'd better not cut me, if they do there making a big mistake!"

"Haha yeah so I'm going to go shop for some new basketball clothes, you coming?" You asked.

"Sure."

After you went shopping, you and your friend went to the park to play basketball. You guys were neck and neck, the score being 3-3, and neither of you guys were going easy on each other. (Bf/n) hit the ball out of your hands to hard and it went flying towards the street, but luckily someone caught it before it reached the street. And of course that person was Akashi Seijuro.

"Tch, why are you here?!" (Bf/n) inquired.

"I'm walking home from school obviously." He responded.

"Aren't you rich, don't you have a limo that can pick you up? I thought people like you would be too great to walk."

"While it is true that I possess multiple limousines, I am merely walking because I'm building up more endurance for basketball by walking home rather then driving home." Akashi elaborated.

"Hmph whatever can I have the ball back?!"

"Only if you can beat me in a 1 on 1 game."

"Hmph bring it on Bakashi!"

"Round 4! Ready...fight!"
