Brave
Peter Pan smirked at Genevieve as the lost boys tied her arms and legs together. They picked her up and carried her through the woods. She stared at the sky as the boys carried her through the woods. Suddenly she heard footsteps besides the lost boys. Then she saw a girl appear from the woods.
"Pan." Genevieve said.
"What?" He asked walking next to Baelfire who looked guilty.
"If girls aren't allowed on this island then why is she here?" Genevieve asked.
The blonde glared at her. "Excuse you, I'm Tinkerbell Pan's loyal companion." She snapped.
"Yes, this girl has earned my trust, only people who earn my trust won't be killed." Pan said smirking and raising his eyebrow at her.
Genevieve wasn't going to let this brat get under her skin. If she was gonna live she needed to show Pan what she was made, even though she's only been using her sword for a day and a half.
"Ok." Genevieve said simply.
Pan knit his eyebrows. But it faded quickly and he smirked.
"So where did this one come from?" Tinkerbell asked.
"The Enchanted Forrest, sent here but Rumpelstiltskin." Pan said staring at a map in front of him.
"I've been there. Very nasty place. I lost all of my friends and family there." Tink said.
"Save your sob stories for someone else, you know I'm not one to listen...or care." Pan said walking ahead.
Tinkerbell glared at him as he walked away Genevieve giggled.
"What's so funny?" Tinkerbell asked.
"Well isn't he a great friend?! Nothing says friendship like save your sob story for someone who cares." Genevieve laughed.
"Why, I could just-" "Tink, she's getting thrown to the mermaids so you'll just have to enjoy the show." Baelfire cut in.
She rolled her eyes and walked over to Pan.
"What's her problem? She's a girl and an adult isn't she supposed to be gone or not here." Genevieve asked.
"I don't know. She just gained Pan's trust." Bae said.
"How, because I'm not going down without a fight." Genevieve said.
"He usually likes to play games, like my dad likes making deals." Baelfire said.
"Yeah, your dad is a real charmer nothing says a friendly deal like bring me my son or you can stay miserable forever."Genevieve said.
Baelfire laughed at her joke. "Yes, well Pan likes to play games so. Offer him a game and he might let you live." He said.
"Thank you." She said.
Baelfire just smiled. The Felix walked up to him and snatched him by his collar.
"Stop making conversation with the prisoner or you'll be dealing with Pan." Felix said.
Baelfire pushed Felix away from him. Then he walked to the front of the group. Felix glared at Genevieve and she returned the glare.
A few hours passed and Genevieve was getting sick of being dragged all over the place.
"Pan!" Genevieve snapped.
"What do you want now?!" He snapped back.
"Are we there yet because I'm getting sick of being dragged! I'd rather be drowned by the mermaid already!" She snapped.
He laughed at her. "You have no idea what these things are capable of do you?" He asked.
"Yes actually I do." She replied.
Pan smirked.
"Why are you trying to kill me again?" She asked.
"You trespassed on my island." Pan said.
"Ok, and only people who gain your trust get to stay on this island without being hunted or killed?" Genevieve asked.
"Yes." He said.
"And, all this boys have gained your trust?" She asked.
"No. They are on this island because I brought them here!" Pan said in annoyance. "Anymore questions?" He asked.
"Just one more." She said.
He glared at her.
"Do you like to play games?" She asked.
His face softened for a moment.
"Yes." He said the wicked smirk returning to his face.
"Well , I want to play a game that also comes with a deal." Genevieve said.
"Stop!" Pan shouted.
The boys stopped walking and looked at Pan and then Genevieve.
"What game do you have in mind?" Pan asked.
"If I survive the mermaids I get to stay on the island and live. If I don't you can kill me." She said.
He laughed but the pondered the deal.
"Ok, but you can't use any weapons and you have to do it without magic." Pan said.
"Deal." Genevieve said.
"Oh and if you cheat, I will kill you....slowly." Pan said.
She nodded. Baelfire gave her a look. She just smirked.
A few minutes after the deal they arrived at a cove. It was beautiful but the water was dark from underneath and you couldn't see anything. There was a small waterfall and a large rock that looked similar to a platform.
The lost boys released Genevieve and Pan grabbed her arm. With a blink of an eye they were on the rock and then Pan appeared back at the shore of the cove. He smirked at her.
The lost boys and Tinkerbell kept their distance from the shore and watched from a distance as Pan sat on the ground of the shore and pulled out pipes. He looked at Genevieve and started playing to pipes.
It only took a few minutes before the water started to ripple and Genevieve started to see tails. They were green tails and they had seaweed and other things from the sea attached to their tails. Then there were about five heads that popped up from the water.
One was a blonde and she had a starfish in her hair. The other had red hair and she had a head band made of sea shells. the others probably had black or brown hair. It was hard for Genevieve to tell since it was night time.
"Hello." A soft voice said from behind Genevieve.
It was a mermaid. She still in the water but she had her elbows on the rock she looked at Genevieve. The mermaid was very pretty she had black hair, her eyes were green, and her tail was a blueish color. But Genevieve knows about these demonic fish people. They're only nice for a split second then they would drown you!
"Hi." Genevieve replied.
The rest of her companions joined her and started to stare at Genevieve.
"What's your name?" The blonde one asked.
"Genevieve." She replied.
" Well, that's a wonderful name." One said.
"Would you like to come join us for a swim?" The one with the brown hair said.
Genevieve glared at them. The blonde grabbed her arm. She could hear the pipes still playing but she couldn't see Pan. She took one glance at the outside world and then she held her breathe before the mermaids yanked her into the water.
It was dark under the water and Genevieve couldn't see not a thing. She felt the mermaids dragging her down and she had a million thoughts rushing through her head. Then it clicked, the ropes. She would never be able to get out of this mess with the ropes.
She was grabbed by her hands as two mermaid began to pull her down she pulled her hands away from the mermaid yanking and yanking until her hands slipped out! She was still being pulled by her legs. Her air was running out and she didn't have much time.
She went for her legs but the mermaid kept pulling. She yanked her legs away and untied the ropes quickly and got free. The mermaid grabbed her leg and pulled her down and she felt her air running out.
Pan watched as the mermaids pulled Genevieve into the water. It humored him how she thought he could loose a game! After they pulled her in he stopped playing his pipes the water was still and he knew that underneath she was fighting for her life.
"It's been ten minutes!" Pan shouted.
Baelfire ran out of the woods.
"She has to be alive!" He said.
"Get over it." Felix said.
He glared at Felix.
"Come on boys we have to celebrate for banishing our trespasser!" Pan shouted.
The boys cheered but Baelfire just glared at Pan. Suddenly the water started moving and they saw a fin. Baelfire got so happy for a moment.
"Just a mermaid." Pan said.
But the water kept moving and they saw as the mermaid went back underwater. Pan watched the water. Suddenly a gasp and Genevieve sprang out of the water. She swam quickly onto the shore and laid on the ground breathing heavily.
Baelfire nearly screamed in joy as he ran over to her and helped her up. She coughed up water a few times and was barely breathing. Pan look astonished.
"That's impossible." Tinkerbell said.
Pan walked up to her and glared at her.
"Well you didn't cheat because I would know so congratulations you get to stay on the island." Pan said.
Genevieve smiled.
"As my prisoner." Pan said.
He smile faded and she glared at him.
"That wasn't part of the deal." She said.
"Well you won't survive a day out here by yourself and it's my island I do whatever I want." Pan said.
She lunged herself at him but Baelfire held her back.
"You've got fire, I like that." Pan said.
Genevieve's mouth went dry and her eyes watered up as the flashback in the ballroom returned to her.
"Are you alright? You must be tired." He said.
"No, Just distracted." She whispered that last part but he heard.
"I know I am dashing aren't I?" He asked.
"Don't flatter yourself." She said.
"Oh, well I thought you'd agree." He said.
"I never said I didn't." She shot at him.
He smirked. "You've got fire, I like that." He said.
"Genevieve!" Baelfire nearly shouted in her ear.
"What?!" She asked snapping into reality.
"You're crying." He said.
The lost boys stared at her as if she were insane and she wiped her tears and straightened up.
"What are you looking at?!" She snapped at them.
They all looked away.
"To camp." Pan said.
They all walked to camp and it took them hours to get there. But once they got there Pan sent everyone to bed including Baelfire.
"You." Pan said.
Genevieve looked at him. She was still wet and she was shivering.
"What?" She asked.
"You can sleep in my tent on the floor." Pan said.
She glared at him and walked into the tent. She threw herself on the ground and curled up into a ball and went to sleep.
