LET'S TALK ABOUT THE 'ELLA
ENCHANTED' REBOOT RUMORS

Die-hard fans of the 2004 movie Ella Enchanted are going crazy on social media this morning. If you've somehow been hibernating these past few months, here's a quick recap:

Four months ago, rumors that involved a reboot of Ella Enchanted, originally starring Anne Hathaway and Hugh Dancy, were flying around social media. Like any other movie remake reactions, most were elated to hear about the possibility of a childhood movie being given a new life!

Here's the storyline in case you've somehow forgotten the iconic film: As a baby, Ella receives a visit from Lucinda, her fairy godmother, and is bestowed with a magical talent that requires her to obey anything that she is told to do. This proves to be more of a curse than a blessing, particularly once her mother dies and she is forced to live with the cruel Dame Olga. Eventually, Ella embarks on a journey to find Lucinda and break the spell, accompanied by the handsome Prince Charmont.

   The internet has somehow died down over the past for months, allowing the legal side of things to settle and become 100% official. We think it's a fair assumption to say that we've all been patiently waiting to see if the movie rumors were true, and it seems like our own fairy godmother has granted our wishes.

   Early this morning, Anneliese Taylor took to social media with a pretty suspicious post, captioning the photo of the main character, Ella: "been feeling rather enchanted lately...💙"

Only fifteen minutes ago, the official cast list was posted to IMDb, revealing the perfect cast!

Filming is set to begin very soon, and we all are more than ready to see these actors fulfill their roles and give our favorite childhood movie a new life.
