Your POV

Balancing work and school got some getting use to, and now it's easy! The only thing I hate about work is the maid outfits, the pervy men, and my co workers thinking Daiki is my boyfriend. Ugh it's annoying too! He comes in flirts with my co workers, and then goes and bothers me. I get jealous everytime I see him with a girl.

Today is October 31st aka Halloween. Of course I have to work, and I have to dress up... as sailor moon characters. Whatever as long as I'm getting paid. Just when I thought work couldn't get any worse, it did. I was told to go to the super market, and to buy more flour and eggs because we were low. When I came back, the bakery was filled with glass, and the blood of my co workers leaked from their corpses.

I went on my phone to see how this happened, and it turns out that it was the same man who ended my sister's life. Is this guy targeting me? Why is he killing everyone I know? I'm not going to lie, I'm scared, but when I find this man I'm going to kill him in the most gruesome way, and make him suffer!

Life has been unfair to me. I lost my mom, my dad, my sister, and now my co workers at a job I just got! I swear your deaths will not be in vain, once I find him, I'll kill him in the slowest, most painful way! I asked Daiki about this man, but he says that they are still trying to find out his identity, but when he gets details he'll let me know. Daiki tells me violence is not the answer, but what other choice do I have. If I let him live, he'll go around killing more people. I wonder what this guy wants from me!

Since I don't have a job anymore, I usually wait for Aomine to finish basketball practices or games, so we can go to the police station. Some of the times, I'm not allowed to go in because it's classified information but most of the times I can since this case partially has to do with me.

Aomine's POV

(Y/n) has been depressed lately. Well I guess no one can blame her, she lost many people to the same person. I promise you (y/n) I will get to the bottom of this without you resulting in murdering the man, and I will protect you if that man ever comes near you. We finally graduated high school by the way, now I can become a real cop! (Y/n) also wants to become a cop so she can tracked down that dude. She's so serious about this case, and she stays up all night investigating it.

Two years have passed, and (y/n) and I are both police officers. We still haven't found that guy. (Y/n) and I are dating now, on the condition that I stop reading my magazines. I guess that's a small price to pay considering I'll have my own woman now. Also Satsuki and Tetsuya got married, and are having their first child in about 4 months.

"Daiki I think I found the guy!" (Y/n) proclaimed.

"Really?"

"I was able to blow up the picture of the man caught on security cameras big enough so that I could do a search on him. His name is Tanaka Soichiro." (Y/n) said with a happy but mischievous grin on her face.

I'm not so sure that this was a good thing that (y/n) found this dude.

"(Y/n) I know what you're thinking, but you can't, you'll be no better than him if you do that. I'm just trying to protect you."

"I have to Daiki, it's the only way I can feel better, the only way for me to avenge their deaths."

"No it's not there's another way!"

"Ok what's the other way?!"

"(Y/n), we can lock him up and give him the a life sentence." I argued.

"No! He deserves way worse, must suffer and die a slow torturous death! Daiki, if you can't support my decision, then I think it's in our best interest that we end this relationship." She said.

Those words felt like I was being stabbed in the chest, but if she's going to be adamant about this crazy decision, then I think splitting up is for the best.

"Ok then (y/n) this relationship is over, goodbye." I said as I left the investigation room.
