I knew who Jackson Pollack was, but I'd never even heard of Janet Sobel until JankyFluffy told me about her. (Pollack probably exploited Sobel and poached her ideas, techniques, and style. Same old, same old). 

Since JankyFluffy told me Janet Sobel is one of her major artistic influences, I decided to make a few tiles for her. I worked in stained glass images from churches partly to create a stimmy kaleidoscope effect, partly to reflect the fact that Jankyfluffy is, like me, inspired by faith, although her faith does not take the same form as mine.

We are the blind men by the Elephant. She feels about the knee, and to her, the Elephant is very like a tree, while I take a squirming trunk in hand and to me, the Elephant is very like a snake. It's still an Elephant, and the Elephant is much greater than we are.
