Grace Harrington

Following Eddie's lead I play the drums as well as I can. It seems to be working Dustin has yelled at us the bats are moving towards us.

Surprisingly we sound amazing. The music of master of puppets is loudly ringing in my ears as the speaker sits right next to the drums.

Eddie looks over at me as I hit the drums he smiles and I laugh, the adrenaline rushing through my body is making me all giggly.

"Guys!" Dustin yells. We look over at Dustin and continue to play. "We gotta lock down in T- Minus thirty seconds" he warns.

As I play I look up at the sky and see the bats are moving at a fast speed right towards us. If I wasn't feeling high right now I probably would be shitting myself.

I nod and continue to play, I watch as Eddie has the time of his life. He's extremely talented and I'm so happy to share this moment with him.

Eddie starts his solo and I lightly hit the drums allowing his solo to be mainly heard.

"T-Minus ten!" Dustin yells.

I bang my head up and down as Eddie shreds on his guitar. He's never looked more attractive then he does in this moment.

"One!" Dustin yells.

Eddie plays as hard as he can and ends with a bang.

I jump from my seat and Eddie drops his guitar. We climb down as fast as we can. Eddie grabs my waist and pulls me down.

"Hurry!" Dustin yells. "Shit, shit, shit" I say under my breath. "Let's go!" Dustin states.

We go through the metal gate and close it. Eddie stops and looks at the bats. "Come on let's go" Dustin says and pulls us inside the trailer.

We lean against the walls behind us and take a deep breath in. We look at each other and start laughing. "Dudes...most metal ever!" Dustin yells and we both  scream with him.

Eddie looks over at me and I laugh. I grab his face and lock our lips together. He wraps his arms around my waist and pushes me against the wall behind me.

My hands on his cheeks move to the back of his neck. Eddie deepens our kiss and I feel his tongue against my own. As we kiss I hear Dustin cough loudly behind Eddie.

We pull away and look over at him. "S-sorry" I laugh.
  Dustin rolls his eyes and moves into the living room.

Eddie turns back to me and grabs my face pulling me in for another kiss. We pull away faster then before and laugh. "I've wanted to do that for awhile now" I state and look down.

He smirks and pulls my face up to look at him. "Me too Gracie, Me too" I smile and we walk into the living room with Dustin.

"We called it you know..." Dustin says. "Called what?" I ask. "We all knew it would happen, now Robin and Steve owe me ten bucks"

I roll my eyes. "You bet on us" I groan. Dustin nods with a wide grin on his face.

While Dustin and Eddie talk for a little about what's next.

My head starts beginning to hurt. Just like before. Piercing pain flows throughout my head. I fall to the ground and hold my head. When I close my eyes I hear a song. I can't tell what it is. Or where it's coming from.

My vision goes completely black, but I can still hear Eddie and Dustin. Both of them are by my side.
  "Gracie? What's wrong? What's happening?" Eddie asks and holds my arm.

"I'm, I'm in a gym. I- I see Max. She's afraid. She's hiding" I say and hold my head tightly as the pain continues to grow.

"I think Vecna has her" I state.

I turn and see Vecna being thrown right past me. Right as he lands the pain in my head goes away and my vision is back to normal.

"I think he's hurt," I say as Eddie helps me stand up. "Grace we gotta get you out of the upside down. Whatever is happening to you seems to be getting worse down here."

The bats above us are trying to claw their way in by the vents. I grin and turn to Dustin "think it was a bad idea now?"

We all stand back to back with our weapons out in front of us.

"We shoul-" Dustin is about to say something but is cut off as some of that bats have chewed off the wood around one of the small windows. I grab Dustin's spear and stab one of them in the face.

More of them come near the hole and Eddie moves me out of the way.

He screams and runs toward the hole with his shield that has screws in it.

He takes a deep breath in and looks back at us.
  "Nice one" Dustin says clearly out a breath, "thanks" Eddie says back and they high five each other.

I lean over and drop the weapon. All of this is really kicking me in the ass. I can't tell if I'm just out of shape or really sleep deprived.

We turn our heads after hearing a loud bang coming from Eddie's room.

We all run back there and see the bats have found another vent. "Fuck, I missed one" I groan.

The bats fly in everywhere. "Shit!" We all yell.
  I fall into Eddie as one comes flying at my face.
Eddie grabs Dustin and I, pulling us out of the room and closing the door.

"Let's go!" Eddie yells and moves toward the sheet hanging out of the gate.

Eddie grabs Dustin's arm and helps him climb up the sheet. Dustin climbs as fast as he can and goes through the gate.

I watch as Eddie looks back at his room. I can see in his eyes he wants to go back and kill them. "Don't even think about it Eddie" I state. He looks back at me and smiles. "You a mind reader?" He states.

I give him a warning look and he laughs. He takes my hand and helps me climb up as well.

I go through the gate and land on my back. I quickly get up and look up at him and he looks at me. His sadden face turns into a loving smile. "Eddie" I whisper. "Don't..."

His eyes fill with tears. As do mine.

"Eddie?" Dustin states. "Eddie no!" I scream.
Eddie grabs one of the spears. "Eddie!" I scream in anger.

"Help me up!" I yell at Dustin. Dustin tries to lift me up but right as I grab the sheet it falls. Eddie cut it.

I stop and stand still. My heart drops and the world moves at a slow pace. I watch as Eddie smiles up at me. My eyes flood with tears. "Eddie please no" I whisper.

He jumps off the mattress and grabs his shield.
"Eddie no!" Dustin screams. Tears have fallen out of his own eyes. Not breaking our eye contact Eddie smiles at me. "Stay safe Gracie!"

"Eddie stop, stop, stop" Dustin's pleads ring in my ears.

My heart shatters as he walks out of my view. I scream and yell in anger as I run around the room looking for something to get me back up there.

I fall to my knees in defeat. Dustin and I's sobs echo throughout the trailer.

Damn you Eddie Munson.
