Walk|9
Jacob and I decided to take a beach walk. There is a beach behind the hotel. As we walked, I didn't say a word. Then Jacob finally broke the silence.
"You know" he said, "Everyone gets a scrap book when the time is right. Pictures and details of the life you forget."
"Oh" I said, "I guess that's interesting."
"Yeah" he said, and the waves started to come in. It was a pretty beach, with a blue sky. You would think we where on Earth, but I didn't know if we where anymore. Nor did I know if we where even in the same universe.
Jacob sat down in the sand, and I sat next to him. A slight wind blew in, making my hair move a bit. He smiled a bit.
"I am still waiting for my scrap book. I'm wondering what's taking so long...." he said then stopped. He looked a bit sad, and I thought maybe it be the right time to kiss him, but on the other hand, it wouldn't make a ton of sense to do so. So instead, I simply smiled and put my hand on his in a comforting way.
"You know" I said, "Jacob..."
"Jacob" he said, "You know, I don't even know if that was my name is a previous life to be honest. Just because they told you your name is Alice, do you really know that?"
