It was a sunny day as I walked around the city. My parents died while crossing the road. I was heartbroken, watching the car take them away from me. I trotted along the sidewalk unaware of the truck following me. I heard a screeching sound come from behind me. I turn around only to be grabbed by the hands of a man. He yanked me up and took me to the back of his truck. I got a peek of the other animals in truck.
He opened one of the cages and threw me in it. I sat in the cage with a ginger cat,who didn't really like being here.

Edd's pov

"Tom,come on,we're gonna be late," I shout,beating on Tom's door. I'm coming Edd," Tom says, opening the door. Tord came out of his room," Why do we need a pet again?" I thought about that, I really just wanted a small animal in the house. "Okay guys let's g-," Matt stops. "Guys," I look up still in thought,when Tord shoots a gun in the air. "NOT THE FACE," Matt shouts covering his face. Tom walks up to Tord and takes the gun out of Tord's hand. "No guns in the house commie."

Your pov

I was sitting in a cage looking at the people as they walked by cage with discus. I laid my head on my paws just as a little girl came in. "Mommy look at this one!," A woman with brown hair walked up to my cage. She looks a with alarming look,I guess from my gray fur and different color eyes. "Let's go look for a different one honey," She says staring at me. I stare at her to,but with a hateful and disgusted look. The women turns around and walks away with her daughter. I put my head back on my paws looking at the door hoping for someone to come adopt me. I continued to look at the door when a group of boys in different colored goodies walk into the pet store.
