Scenario: Tom and Tord had been together for a long time. One night Tom had gotten extremely drunk and yelled at Tord a lot. Tom said incredibly hurtful things and physical hurt him by punching him and smashing his beer bottles over Tords head. Deep inside Tom knew  what he said to Tord was true so he tried to pretend it never happened, he did this by ignoring him and not apologizing. Tord was completely terrified of Tom and would never leave his room, his heart was broken and he didn't understand why Tom had done what he did.
