That's what your parents told you when you were younger, as a kid you were excited to meet your 'soulmate' but now...
You just wonder where your soulmate would be or if they even exist, who knows.
As you sitting down on the couch, lost in thought. (crush) got behind couch, where you were sitting. They had an air horn, they hold it close to your ear, without any sort of warning. They pressed the button and high pitched sound came out of it. You got so startle, to the point you fall off the couch and yelped out of surprised.
When you saw it was (Crush), you give them a glare meanwhile they were laughing their @ss off.
You didn't know why they were d!ck to you, ever since you moved in with the guys. They would always pick on you, calling you names, insult you. You two would always fight and argued over something, you just honestly hate them for being an @ss.
Still glaring at (Crush), you stood up and covered your poor ear that is now ringing because of the loudness it heard.
You headed upstairs to your room but before you gone any farther, you said something that made (Crush) stopped laughing immediately
"Thank god you aren't my soulmate, I would hate it if you were!" After that was said, you went to your room, not looking back to see their reaction.
(Crush) just stood there, letting your words sink in.
They didn't know what to say, they were honestly surprised and hurt by what you said.
Here's the thing you never know, (Crush) IS your soulmate.

Those soulmate couples could also see other people red string but can't say who's their soulmates unless they want to be curse forever.

(Crush) on other hand thought you already knew but guess not.
They could've obviously talk to you about it but had no idea how to talk to you now knowing you're their soulmate, the best way to talk to you was to be an @ss but now thinking about it, they realize that wasn't the best way to talk to you.
They really did love you and it really did hurt them what you said.
