All I could do was watch as my best friend cried nights away. His fat growing,and his eyes dull.

Tom comes over every other day,telling Edd I'm in a better place. Telling him things a mother would say to a kid who just lost their father.

Matt would come as well,trying to cheer up his friend. Trying to bring him out of the house.

"AC's acting up..." He said in a shaky voice. I held back tears.

He stood up,leaving the note and walked to his closet,getting into that green hoodie I got him for his birthday. Some pale green pants and green sneakers.

I looked back down at the note,rereading it over and over again.
