Tord's POV:

I had to thank that boy after first period. What was his name again? Matt. Alright. It shouldn't be too hard......right? The first bell rung, signifying that second period was here. We all gathered our things and I stood, walking out into the big crowd of kids talking. I saw Matt at his locker, and I took a deep breath before walking over. He didn't notice me, so I spoke.

"I-I h-had to th-thank you ag-gain....N - no one's ever d-done th-that b-bef-fore..", I said, kinda hiding behind my books as he looked down at me. "No problem", he started, closing his locker. "You didn't need to have that happen to ya". I kinda smiled and nodded. "Uuuuuh, Tord, right"? He asked pointing at me. I nodded again. "Y-You're M-Matt, r-r-right"? I asked. He nods. "Though, everyone calls me Lobster Boy because of my last name", he said. "So if you hear someone say that, that's why". I nodded and we began walking to our next class togrther.

Edd's POV:

I dunno, Edd. It's your first day and I don't think now is time to worry about crushes, I thought. That ginger, Matt.....he was mean, but looked cute. He even seemed to stand up for the innocent kids. Like mom said, don't judge a book by it's cover. Could this boy be nice on the inside, he just doesn't show it? I dunno....hey, maybe if you got to know him, you could know yourself! But how could a guy like him be interested in being friends with a nerd like me? Now my head slightly hurt from all of the thinking, and I was just looking down into my locker.

"Edd? EDD! EARTH TO EDD"! Tom yelled, waving his hand in front of my face. I blinked, looking at him. "S-Sorry, what"? I asked, him putting his hand down. "You okay? You were just staring into your locker", he said, tilting his head. That's when he walked by us. Matt was walking with that boy, Tord, and Matt looked at me. I felt my breath get taken, and he flashed me a small smile as they walked past. I shyly smiled back as they went down the hall, and I sighed. "Wow, wanna tell me what that was about"? Tom asked, looking at me. "That ginger from first period already has me falling for him..", I sighed, leaning against my closed locker as I watched them walk down the hall. "Awwwwww! That's cute"! Tom yelled, me blushing. "Shhhhhh! Did you have to yell that"?! I whisper yelled. He crossed his arms. "You've known me for an hour, I'm pretty sure you know the answer to that question", he replied, me giggling. "Shut up", I said, him giggling. We chatted as we walked to our next period, but Matt couldn't get out of my head. Haven't even met him and you're falling for him.
