Things had been good. Eddie and Jake helped their friends with homework. They had a lot to study for. Their ene of the year exams are coming up. Ron was worried about not remembering anything for the exams.

Jake was helping him and Harry while Eddie is helping Hermione and Neville. He had the most patients to help Neville. Hermione is greatful for the help. They had found out who Nicklaus Flamel is a few days back. Eddie and Hermione had found him. Hermione was happy to have been alone with Eddie in the library. She really got to know him. Ron and Harry didn't get how much that ment to the girl. She is only eleven and she shouldn't have that on her mind already, right?

The three are currently on their way to Hagrid's. They needed to talk to him. Eddie didn't want to get caught and he also didn't want to be to involved. The three understood that and they are find with him helping with just research and looking things up. He did help them find the easiest way out of the castle without them running into any teachers.

The next day Eddie went to talk to them and learned what they found out. He sent a glare at Malfoy when he heard that he got them in trouble. Eddie didn't like that the git was trying to get them explealed and this is the first time he wanted to prank someone without his brother or the Weasley twins asking him to help them prank.

He is now glad they are okay and that they didn't get hurt. He just hope their detention isn't anything bad. He didn't want them having to do anything too dangerous.

The day went pretty good. Eddie and Jake had to focus on their study's and Eddie let Neville say with them to study as well. He knew that he is really stressing and worried that he wouldn't do well. Eddie really wanted to help his friend and to help him have more confidents in himself. Jake wanted to help him as well. They made a way that is easy for the young Gryffindor to remember and call back on if needed. This really helped Neville feel better.

It was the next day and Eddie went to see how Ron's, Hermione's, and Harry's detention went. They told him everything and Eddie is so happy to know that they are all okay. He felt bad that Harry had to go through that, but he is happy that Harry isn't hurt and is okay, other then being shook up a little.

Eddie went to tell Dumbledore about the detention. He didn't tell what happened to Harry, but he did tell the professor that Felch let them do. Professor Dumbledore told him he would talk to the old caretaker and that he wouldn't let Felch give that kind of detention again.

Eddie left feeling a lot better and he told what Dumbledore told him. They are happy to hear that as well. They then did some last minute studying. Their exams are the next day. They are all a little bit nervous.

Neville felt better about his exams. He still felt pretty nervous, but he is glad to have good friends to help him. Eddie even taught him how to reverse a few spells that Malfoy and his friends liked to use. Neville is relived that Eddie helped him so much.

Eddie and Jake just finished their exams. They felt pretty good about them. Eddie sent a letter to his uncles and told them what's been going on. He knew Harry hadn't told their uncles anything and didn't want them worring. Eddie told them because he felt that Harry is going to do something dangerous.

Eddie talked with Harry and the others when they got done with their exams. Harry felt that he did as good as he could. Ron on the other hand didn't feel that way. Hermione felt good about hers. They all just rested for awhile til Harry realized something and ran off to find Hagrid. Ron and Hermione ran after him. Eddie and Jake stayed where they were. Eddie knew what Harry just realized and he didn't want to get more involved.

They then went to talk to Neville and he walked with them. They headed to the spot before to rest. They had a good time and Neville is glad to be apart of their fun and to have a good friend.

Harry told Eddie later during dinner what they are planning. Eddie didn't like it but he said to be careful. Harry, Ron, and Hermione agreed and they headed to their dorms when they all are done eating.
