Your point of view
I sat in my room silently crying when I heard the door open. I looked up trying to wipe my tears away and saw Tom standing there.
"Hey Y/n." He said in a quiet tone. I waved In response. "I need to ask you a question. Is that alright." I nodded my head. "Can you try to cheer up Edd? He hasn't come out of his room in a few days."
I stood up and nodded as I walked towards the door.
"Thanks." He muttered.
I walked up to Edd's bedroom door and knocked lightly. A small 'come in' was heard from the other side. I walked in and saw it was dark, but I could see him under a pile of blankets. I closed the door behind me and walked over to his bed. I tapped him and he shifted under my touch.
I sat on the edge of his bed and he sat up.
"Tom. Seriously?" He groaned. But when he turned around I tackled him in a hug, with a little too much force, because he fell back. "Y/n? W-What are you doing in here?"
I didn't answer, I just snuggled into him deeper. I felt him wrap his arms around me and sigh sadly.
I felt my cheeks light up slightly. I will admit I have a crush on Edd, but he would never like me. I'm too quiet and awkward.
"Thank you Y/n." He whispered.
"W-Why?" I whispered. I  removed my face from his chest and looked up at him. His eyes were wide because I was speaking.
"Why what?" He asked.
"W-Why did you l-lock yourself away?" I asked.
"I-I thought I did something wrong and you were gonna ignore me." He admitted.
I snuggled my head into his chest again and sighed. He pulled me closer to him and we both just laid there with each other.
"Hey Y/n." He whispered. I hummed in response. "I really like your voice." He said causing my cheeks to turn bright pink. I yawned and listened to his heartbeat, causing me to slowly fall asleep, using it as my lullaby.
