Selene woke up by a blonde standing over her. Selene screamed which made Marlene Mckinnon laugh, "Please, Sel, don't be dramatic. I know you missed me but I knew you would survive."

"Marlene," The sepia eyed girl practically shrieked, "What are you doing here? And why were you watching me sleep?!"

"I was waiting for you to wake up, duh!" Marlene said, laying down next to the girl, more on top of her by elbowing her ribs. "Ow?"

"Oh you baby!" Marlene said, "Anyways, I was thinking we should go out, clothes shopping?"

Selene shrugged before pushing the blonde off the bed onto the floor, "OUCH! Remind me you are not a morning person."

"Neither are you, Mar." Selene grumbled into her pillow, blocking the sunlight from her eyes.

Marlene rolled her eyes dramatically, "Whatever, Sel, get up."

Selene glared at the blonde who was now lounging on the floor. A few minutes of of a lot of nothing passed, she finally got up.

Her outfit consisted of a long sleeve white sweatshirt paired with a dark green plaid sweater vest. A pair of jeans finishing the look with doc martens.

"Ready?" Marlene asked.

Selene nodded.

How is your summer so far? Mine is good. Mum has been working a lot in the store so I've been helping out as well. I found this really perfect cardigan for fall! It had daisies on it. (keeping up with the theme!)

It sucks we didn't get a chance to see each other much last year. Well there is always this year!

I have been hanging out with Reg a lot. We are doing good.

I went out the other day and found this amazing candy shop. It has the best chocolate! We need to go there, there is also a very cool book shop next door. Sometime soon we should go.  James will  not shut up about you, we have to  tape his mouth shut.

My summer is going good. I am officially with James, we are doing good as well. I am so happy that you and Regulus are doing good. I wish that we had more time as well, I really do enjoy your  company. I hate to have to tell you this via letter, but I will not be returning to school due to personal reasons, I would rather not go into.

Selene and Lily had already been to every coffee and tea shop and book shop in their area already that summer. So they thought to spend an afternoon at diagon alley. Starting with the leaky cauldron for lunch. "I love this place, shame I have never stayed here." Lily said, looking around the place. "We should stay sometime soon." Selene agreed. It truly was a fine establishment. It was a popular wizarding pub in london. "To Muggles, this place appears to be a broken down shop." Lily said thoughtfully, looking over the menu even though she knew exactly what she was going to get.

The waiter came over to take their order, "Hello, welcome to the Leaky Cauldron. What can I serve you?"

"Hi," Lily started, "Can we get the Ploughman's?" A Ploughman's was a meal that came with, A feast of English cheese, bread, field green salad, roasted tomatoes, apple beet salad, branston pickle, and scotch eggs.

"We ordered quite a bit."

"We don't come here very often. And the food is very good."

"It is, I am just excited for ice cream after." The two girls were planning to go to the ice cream parlor afterwards.

It was most likely the hottest day of the holidays. The streets of Diagon Alley were scorching, the sun blazing down upon Selene and Lily.

People on the street were fanning themselves manually and magically, others were hiding away under shades to avoid the heat. The girls were on their way over to Fortescue Ice Cream Parlor.

Selene always enjoyed visiting wizarding places, it was very different from the muggle world which made it twice as enjoyable because you never truly knew what you would come across.

"You do not mix strawberry ice cream with chocolate." Lily argued, shaking her head. The brunette  had claimed that strawberry ice cream could go with any other flavor.  "But then it is like chocolate covered strawberry." Selene responded, readjusting the bags on her shoulder from her shopping.

"Well, yes, I suppose. But mint wouldn't work.'

"Any flavor can work, I think. If it sound good."

Lily cringed, "Let's agree to disagree. I will stick with just strawberry."

The Gryffindors continued to talk as they walked over to the parlor. Lily abruptly stopped, "Hey, uh- Is that Sirius' brother?"

Selene raised a brow before meeting the green eyed girls gaze over to where she saw a boy with medium length dark black hair and piercing blue eyes.

It was Regulus Black alright. Standing in an alley way, looking around as if to see and make sure nobody was watching him. Selene could not see what he was doing, "It is him," She whispered, "I will be right back."

"Are you sure that is a smart idea-"

Before she could say any more Selene was already gone.

"Reg?" Selene said softly from behind the youngest Black brother. Regulus flinched and turned around fast with his wand raised. "Woah!" Selene raised her hands in a sign of peace.

"Oh." Regulus muttered, lowering his wand, "What're you doing here?" He all but spat.

"Reg, what is wrong?" She asked.

Regulus looked over at her, his eyes softening almost in a pleading way, "Nothing, I am perfectly alright. Don't worry about me, Sel."

Selene nodded, "If you ever need anything don't be afraid to ask."

"Thank you, I appreciate it." He said, his eyes still lingering behind her making sure nobody spotted the. "You need to go- I need to go."

Before Selene could argue he was gone, she had no idea how he got away so fast without her knowing.
