Chapter Three pt. 1
Lia's POV
"Oh my god I'm so scared!" I say, brushing out my hair. Stevie laughs, sitting in front of me and pulling out some makeup.
"You'll be fine." She says, opening up the mascara.
"No I won't. How do you meet famous people?!" I ask, closing my eyes and letting her put it on my eyelashes.
"Be calm. This is the same Luke you've been texting. I'll be here too." She says, finishing my mascara. I nod, biting my lip nervously. My phone buzzes and I feel my stomach fill with butterflies. "Answer it." She says, smiling.
"No you." I say throwing it to her. She shakes her head, throwing it back to me and I hit the answer button throwing it to her.
Luke's POV
The phone says connecting and I look at Calum nervously.
"Lia! You little shit!" I hear a voice scream. I laugh and then the camera works. It's a girl, brown short hair, tan skin. She has brown eyes too. "Hey!" She says, smiling, laughing too.
"Hi!" I say, smiling as well. I hear giggling on the other end and it makes me smile. I look at Calum and he is mesmerized by the girl holding the camera, his eyes not leaving the screen.
"I'm Stevie, Lia's friend. You're Luke, I presume." She says, smiling at me. I nod, at a loss for words. "Lia is being a baby and she's afraid to talk to you." Stevie says, rolling her eyes.
"Lia," I say, dragging out her name. I hear more giggling making my stomach do a flip. "Come on." I say. Calum pokes my arm, making me tear my eyes away from the screen.
"She's really beautiful." He whispers to me.
"Thank you." Stevie says, making Calum's eyes goes wide. "Lia!" Stevie screams. I hear more giggling and then finally I see Lia. She has her hands over her face and she's looking down.
"Hi Luke." She says behind her hands. I smile at my phone, waiting for her to show her face.
"Can I see you?" I say, smiling.
"Sure." She says softly. She slowly takes her hands away from her face and I fee my stomach drop. She's so pretty.
"Can I have your number." Calum says, cheeks blushed red. Stevie points to herself, looking surprised. "Yeah." Calum says, nodding his head quickly. She nods, reading out her number while Calum quickly types it in his phone.
"You're one of the calmest fans I've ever asked to." I say, making Lia smile.
"How many fans do you talk to?" She asks, raising an eyebrow. I feel my cheeks blush and Calum laughs next to me. "I'm just joking." She says, laughing.
