The Prince
*Frisk's POV*
For the next few days, I never saw G.
Not on the streets, in the shop, he was no where in sight.
So I decided to shove him aside again, telling myself, 'This is a G free world, remember?' Though I couldn't shake that want of running again, running with G as we striven for freedom.
I ignored it best I could.
While I laid on the couch, a lazy Saturday weighing me down with blank relaxing thoughts, there was a loud knock at my door.
My heart beat fast, and a sad realization crossed me, as I realized I don't get much visitors.
Which is probably why I got up and adjusted my shirt before opening my white door.
It squeaked open, and I rubbed the laziness from my eyes as I looked at who was at the door.
To my surprise, two monsters, a goat woman, and her goat son, stood in the doorway.
Monsters didn't take a favor to humans, much the same we didn't take favor to them, so I just stared at them for a moment without a greeting.
Though I didn't need to, because the goat woman spoke to me first and she said, "Hello! My name is Toriel... would you like some tea and maybe some pie?"
Toriel held up a basket of goods, and I couldn't say no to the smell of gooey butterscotch pie.
I opened the door as an offering for them to come in, a smile crossing my lips.
They both walked in, and I noticed her son was about 21, two years older then me. He had long white ears, and a white snout. The white accented his shining blue eyes, and he smiled slightly at me while I let him in. He wore a black leather jacket and black jeans, with a white shirt underneath which made it seem like no shirt at all.
To be honest, I blushed only slightly and had to avert my eyes before I said something stupid.
Shutting the door, I realized Toriel was already at the counter to set up the pie and tea.
"Very nice weather," She said in her sweet tone, making me want to doze off in a meadow of yellow flowers when the sun is high, "We had no trouble getting here. Did we?"
She glanced at her son while cutting some pie, and I looked at him as well.
He stared at me with his eyes lowered, his smile spreading more as he studied me.
This caused me to shiver, and I remembered how I had no idea who these people were.
"Excuse me," I said softly, walking to the kitchen where Toriel worked, "I apologize for interrupting this little conversation, but I wanted to know, uh... what are you doing in my house?"
Without putting down the butter knife she used to cut, Toriel laughed a kind laugh as if she was having a family dinner and did this everyday.
"Oh I am so sorry!" She exclaimed, her voice still having that sweet enjoyable tone, "We were some neighbors from down the street, and we uh... Noticed you walk to work everyday! And we thought that a girl who works so hard deserves a reward right?"
Even though her excuse was weak, and my curious suspicions grew, Toriel's sweet voice and the smell of steaming butterscotch pie seemed to shut me down into a dazing smile.
"Oh..." I said in a soft friendly voice, something in me melting like the pie, "Well thank you, I do work as much as I can..."
Toriel giggled and her son continued to look at me, his eyes full of interest, and something else I couldn't put my finger on.
Though my mind seemed clouded with Toriel's words, and her voice, so I couldn't think straight even if I tried.
"This is my son, Asriel," She said with a smile on her face.
I stared at the goat boy, Asriel, and I fought a shiver that struck me from his blue eyes.
Suddenly I felt as if I had seen them before... yet I couldn't quite think about it at the time because Toriel announced, "Pie is ready to eat! I'll start some tea."
There was no way I was going to miss out on that delicious dripping smell of pie.
So I sat down, and right as I did, Asriel sat next to me with a swift smooth movement.
Where had I seen that before?
"I was wondering..." He said in a smooth eerie voice, which seemed to be clicking at my head.
He slid a slice of pie over to me and continued, "Humans have colored souls as well... correct? I wanted to know the color of yours..."
The question was odd, and seemed to confuse me a bit.
Since when had people begun to ask soul colors?
It was private information, and frankly, quite personal.
My eyes glanced at Toriel, to see if she had heard her son's inappropriate question.
Though she was to busy humming to herself and making us some tea, like Asriel had said nothing in the first place.
These two seemed to lock my thoughts behind chains, keeping me from thinking for myself. My mind was full of Toriel's elegant and kind words that seemed lively and so free, better then my own even though I had escaped prison.
At the time, I couldn't think of prison. I couldn't think of anything in my life, as if I had forgotten it all.
So I answered with what I had thought up quickly, "That is a strange question... I don't get asked that a lot... But I suppose you don't mean any harm."
I smiled, and the regret was threatening me, saying, "Just watch as you say those words and I force my way inside."
But my mind was too clouded with thoughts in Toriel's voice which said, "What could they do with the information of your soul color?"
"It's red."
When I finished my words, I noticed Toriel and Asriel steal glances to each other, both looks hiding something important, something I should have tried to figure out.
Toriel giggled to herself and Asriel smiled more.
Yet with a clouded mind, and the smell of pie filling each of my senses, I didn't even give them a second thought while I dug my fork into the pie that sliced evenly and gushed from the sides a bit.
As the fork headed towards my mouth, I looked at Asriel and stared at his blue eyes, his white delicate fur that seemed as soft as cotton, and then I glanced at his mouth.
I knew I was missing something, a puzzle in my head wasn't connecting.
That is, until I saw his sickly smirk.
Regret was already filling me.
Before the fork even entered my mouth, a loud yell came from the door.
"DON'T YOU DARE PUT THAT IN YOUR MOUTH!"
Without having to look up, I knew the voice belonged to G, yet I looked up anyway from the shock of what he was doing at my house.
Setting the fork down I stood up quickly, my thoughts of Asriel suddenly passing as I took a step to the door.
"G?!" I shouted angrily, wondering how he knew where I lived, "What the hell are you-"
I was interrupted by G's sudden rush at Asriel, and his hand punching the goat across the room.
"G!" I shouted with shock and confusion, staring at Asriel as he growled and groaned while standing up.
"Come on doll," G grabbed my wrist, his face full of stern anger, "We gotta get outta here."
Another loud growl entered my ears, as fast as the confusion that filled my head when I saw Toriel grab out a gun and Asriel do the same.
"Let go of her G," Asriel growled.
Suddenly, with the chains around my mind breaking, I recognized the voice.
The Damn Prince's voice.
Asriel was the Damn Prince, and Toriel must be the queen.
Without any time to gasp I listened to G laugh, a forced cold laugh.
"Make me Azzy!" He said with an amused smirk.
Asriel growled with annoyance and tried to shoot which caused me to scream while G scrambled out the door.
My eyes filled with the image of Toriel's kind face turning into dry anger while she shot as well, and Asriel's blue eyes filling with no emotion.
G grabbed my shirt around the waist and tried to yank me out the door while the sound of guns burst my ears.
He ended up ripping off the bottom of my shirt and just grabbing my skin, right where the dried scars where.
I yelped as he yanked me out the door and shut it sharply, still holding me tightly to him as his eyes scanned for a way out.
Spinning thoughts filled me while I continued to hear gunshots, the sound almost ear shattering.
How could I have been so stupid?
Not noticing the Prince and his voice, his movements, his smirk.
No, I had noticed the smirk.
Yet my attention and anger was pushed onto G, and Toriel's tricky words still lingered.
Then I remembered he knew about my soul.
Why had he wanted to know?
I had no time to think because G grabbed my wrist roughly and pulled me down the stairs to the front of my apartment, causing me to trip a bit.
The door burst open behind us, and I couldn't help but glance at Asriel as he continued to shoot at G, missing each shot with annoyance.
"G where are we going?!" I shouted at him, though I was well aware we were just getting out of the building.
"Somewhere!" He answered in a panic filled voice, making a sharp turn which caused me to fall into him.
I yelped as a bullet grazed my ankle, Asriel's voice shouting, "Do not hit the human!!!"
Toriel must be back in shooting us, and they continued to chase us.
G growled and just picked me up bridle style, running to the end of the hall.
"No G!" I said, the guns getting louder as he ran, my hands clutching the front of his jacket tightly, still unable to think straight, "This is a dead-"
A dead end, which he discovered himself when he stopped at the window which ended the hall.
Asriel was behind us, and G whipped around, still clutching me tightly in his arms.
"Put her down G," Asriel shouted, his voice still having it's same sharp yet mysterious tone.
G stared, his eyes darting around.
It was obvious to see his mind at work.
"Heh... Can't," He smirked, and I clutched tighter to the front of his jacket.
A familiar feeling shivered down my spine, and once again I held tighter while watching G getting ready to snap.
Asriel, the Prince, seemed to know just what G was about to do and he shook his head with worry and anger burning his eyes.
"No... No G don't you dare-!"
G didn't let him finish his quick warning, and he teleported again.
