It's calm in the bar today, usually, there are more people at night.
All that's here is a group of teenagers, they're talking very silently, but it's not my job to manage them.
There's also a girl around 10 years old, she's not part of the group but seems to be listening to them.
When she notices that I watch her, she comes slowly, like she couldn't believe it.

"Hello?" She said with a voice devoid of confidence.

"Hi, everything's alright?"

"You... Can see me?" 

"Why wouldn't I?" This kid is strange for sure, maybe she should go to sleep.

"Oh, so can you tell me where I am?" 

"You're here, but you don't know?" Maybe she has some sort of amnesia.

"You're in a bar inside a hospital, it's specialized toward disabled people."

"You don't seem disabled." Who raised this kid, is she lost?

"It's not because you don't see it that I'm not disabled."

"So what's the problem you have."

"I don't, because I work here. But be careful while saying things like that, people are sensitive here."

"And what's your name?"

"You can just call me barmaid. And you, what's your name?" 

"I don't know."

"So I can just give you a random name?"

"I can get a name?" I didn't plan to give her a name but...

"What about Yuki?" She seems to think about it and clap her hands, she's happy with her name.

The group of teenagers walk away, not without weirdly looking at me. Maybe this little girl is being too loud.

"Can you be less loud? It's late."

"Oh yeah, I'll be very quiet." At least she seems to listen, I should bring her back to her room quickly.

"So, can you bring me to your room? I'll close the bar soon."

"My room? I don't have a room." I look at her confused.

"Where do you sleep then?" She gestures me to follow her and start running, She didn't give me time to close properly.

After a while of running around, we end up in the basement of the hospital. It's been deserted for a while now, at least ten years.

"That's where I sleep." I can see a pile of clothes where she could sleep, but it's not a place for a child like her.

Should I bring her with me and search information on her later?

"Don't you want a better place to sleep?"

"Yes, but the doctor said I should stay, I still go out sometimes, so I'm a bad girl."

"Don't say that, do you know his name?"

"I told you, his name is doctor." That's why I don't deal with children.

"Well, I work in the hospital, so you can listen to me now. Let's go to my house for now."

"So Yuki can leave?"

"Yes, come, I'll show you." She seems really excited, I don't know who told her to stay here, it's dusty, messy and it stinks. Not a place for a child.

After leaving this place to head toward my car, I saw two persons, they were among the group in the bar.

"Greetings, thou art the mistress at the bar am I right?" What? How a girl around 16 could talk like that? And also she has some weird clothes, she think she's a magician?

"I'm sorry I didn't get it."

"T's well enow, mine own translat'r shall holp thee, right, Sebastian?" Is she doing it on purpose? I can't understand anything, I didn't even drink alcohol tonight.

"It's okay, I will translate." A 13-year-old boy come forward, I can see he's missing his arms.

"I'm Sebastian, and she's Iris, she talks in an old English because it helps for her magic." That didn't explain much but okay.

"What is thy nameth?" Is it an insult? Or she's asking something?

"Err, thanks?"

"She was asking for your name."

"Oh, you can just call me the barmaid and this little girl is Yuki."

"I wast right, thee can seeth h'r apparition!" I don't even answer and wait for the boy to translate.

"She's saying you can see her ghost, is that true?" Her ghost? Are they talking about Yuki?

"Her? A ghost? She just a little girl"

"But only thee can seeth h'r, t might not but beest thy divine pow'r!"

"She is right, only you can see her." He said as I turn toward Yuki watching me with her glowy eyes.

"They are right, I died for some times now." I can hardly believe it. How could this be true?

"I'm sure you have a lot of questions." Says Sebastian after seeing my confusion.

"You should come to our hideout, it's the room 016 of the hospital. We'll explain what we know about the girl that lost her life."

"I'll consider it." I still can't believe their story, I mean it's naive to think I'll believe it.

"The sooth shall beest revealed, and thee shall has't a big parteth in t." The girl says before leaving with her friend.

I go home with Yuki without saying a word. Once I'm home, I ask her.

"Are they right? You... Died before?"

"I think. I just woke up and nobody could see me before, even you couldn't."

"So why can I see you now?"

"I dunno." Has something happened for me to see her now?

"Big sisteeeer, can I eat?" She says with a box of chocolate in her hand. All of that made me forget she's just a child.

"Yes you can, but don't eat everything."

"I won't because Yuki is a good girl!" She says while nodding her head.

I think about what happened today, I'll need to see them tomorrow and learn more about it.

I met a ghost, is it really true? Does this hospital hide other secrets? Who really is Yuki?
