Infinity III Crystal

Helpy stared.

The beautiful, clear shards of shimmering crystal stared back.

Helpy had no idea what just happened. He had no idea how long he had stood there, staring at the crystal shards. All he knew is that he was wasting time that could have been used sorting out lawsuits.

Who was Sailor Chibi Moon? Maybe that was just a character in this broken video game.

Then why couldn't Helpy select any of the other characters?

That didn't matter. Helpy needed to get a head start on contesting these lawsuits.

He glanced around the room, then scooped the little shards of crystal up into his tiny arms.

He swung the tiny, hand knit baby blue backpack Michael made to his front, shoving the shards inside. They tinkled and chimed against each other, glinting in the light.

Helpy shifted the pack back to his spine, squaring his little shoulders and stomping, angrily, out of the room.

Stupid lawsuits, stupid game, stupid crystal...

Helpy grumbled to himself, thundering out of the empty room and into the party room.

"Stupid Sailor Moon Crystal...!" Helpy audibly grumbled as he passed by Lefty.

Her large hand interrupted his path, acting as a barricade. "I'm sorry, did you just say Sailor Moon?" Her bright yellow eye focused intently on him and his little backpack.

"Of course I did!" Helpy snapped. Out of the corner of his eye he saw that new, rusty animatronic, lean forward and stare at him. "That stupid game in that stupid room..."

Molten Freddy's eyes widened. Silence fell upon the room.

"Helpy." Lefty breathed, her voice shaky. "Did you... select any characters?"

"I don't see how that's relevant." Helpy said, hands on his small hips.

"Did you select a character?" Lefty repeated.

Helpy thought for a moment. Lefty looked terrified, and frankly, Lefty was like a big sister to him. She fed him all the time, caused the least amount of lawsuits, and despite being a high liability, was very responsible.

"No." He finally said.

Lefty breathed out a sigh of relief, getting up. "False alarm, sorry Helps."

Helpy broke into a sprint, gripping the strap of his pink backpack tightly.

Wait, pink?

He flipped forward, rolling a few turns before heading to the main stage.

While there, he stopped, patting his backpack strap. "I don't understand." he wondered out loud. "Who even is this Sailor Moon?"

Without warning, a piano began to play, and the red curtains of the main stage swung open.

That new, inky guy was sitting at the piano, playing a catchy melody.

He cleared his throat, then began to sing.

"We don't talk about Sailor Moon, no no no no no, we don't talk about her, no!" he sang, grinning in the yellow spotlight.

"But!" He pulled out a small, ink coated, black and white angel doll with devil horns from his cargo pants, setting it on the piano.

"It was recital day,

(It was recital day)

I was getting ready

And everything went right

(Nothing could go wrong tonight)

The princess walks in with a kind, loving grin

(Thunder!)"

He picked up the doll, talking to it angrily. "Are you telling this story or am I?"

"I'm sorry, Sammy-Lammy, go on~!" He hugged the doll to his chest.

Oh, ok, so his name was Sammy.

"The princess says it looks like rain

(Why did she tell us?)

In doing so, she floods my brain

(Venus Power, make up~)

Take him down with Love-Me Chain

(An easy enemy but anyways,)

We don't talk about Sailor Moon, no no no no no, we don't talk about Sailor Moon!" Sammy held the last note, then stopped. "Thanks for coming, small buddy! Don't even-"

Red light flooded the room, casting a shadow of a rabbitlike figure on the wall. Scraptrap!

"I learned to live in fear of the past

Stumbling and stuttering,

I can always hear them coming

Muttering and mumbling,

I associate it with a sound like falling sand," This melody, interrupted by the sounds of crows cawing, carried through the room, along with the shadows.

"It's a heavy lift with a gift so humbling

Always left the Inner Sailor Guardians fumbling,

Grappling with a past we couldn't understand."

Finally, Scraptrap himself was visible, holding a red flashlight to his face, highlighting the insides of his eye sockets. Ew, that's just disgusting.

Strangely enough, two crows perched on his less ragged ear, eyes twinkling with otherworldly intelligence.

"I see you found Phobos and Deimos!" Sammy called, playing the piano again.

"Do you understand?" He whispered, ignoring Sammy. The crows, Phobos and Deimos, cawed in unison.

"Ooh!" Molten Freddy slithered in the room, clapping his hands excitedly. "Can I join you guys?"

"Go ahead, little guy." Scraptrap smiled.

Helpy rolled his eyes, not wanting to be serenaded while also being talked down to constantly.

"A seven foot frame,

Cats along her back

When she calls your name

Your life fades to black

Yeah she hears your screams

And rewrites your dreams" Molten scooped him up.

Helpy screamed, kicking their grubby fingers away.

"We don't talk about Sailor Moon, no no no no no, we don't talk about Sailor Moon!" Molten sang.

"She told me my life would end, the next day, dead!" Sammy hit his keys furiously.

"She told me I'd lose my sight, and just like she said!" Scraptrap pointed to his eye sockets.

"She said that all my friends would disappear, now look at my friends~!" Molten chimed in.

Helpy backed up when all three of them began circling like vultures.

"Your fate is sealed when your past is revealed!" All three sang in unison.

Helpy crouched, shielding his backpack defensively. Last time he was circled like this, Molten stole his Hot Wheels.

"She told me that the past of our dreams

Would be rewritten and someday be mine" Lefty interrupted.

"Not you too!" Helpy squeaked.

Lefty ignored him completely, much to Helpy's despair.

"She told me that our power would grow

Like roses that thrive on my vine"

"Hey, guys, someone's on their way." That same rusted bear from before poked their head in the room, looking around with pale, faded eyes.

"We're a little busy, Counter." Sammy said.

"Recreating 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' isn't busy." Lefty frowned. "Counter, what's up?"

"Shut up, Lefty, it's my turn." Scraptrap pulled her blindfold back down, then began again,

"She told me that the life of my dreams

Would be just out of reach

Betrothed to another..."

Lefty and Counter huddled close, discussing something frantically.

"Hey, Helps?" What were they talking about? "I want not a sound out of you." She reached into her chest cavity, pulling out a green pen. "Helpy, Counter, run!"

"But Sailor M-" Helpy started, but soon found himself being flung at top speed out of the stage room.

"Bye, little guy!" Sammy yelled. "Let's go, guys. Venus Power,"

"Mars Power"

"Jupiter Power"

"Mercury Power"

"MAKE UP!"

The last thing Helpy saw before being swaddled up in Counter's massive hand were four flashes of brilliant light.
