"Yes I'm married but I don't have kids." He later replied to my questions.

"I'm so sorry but I don't mingle with married men." I sadly told him. I was disappointed he was taken.

Since that night Nick never messaged neither did I also message him, it almost two weeks since I last heard of him.

Occasionally his thoughts pass through my head but I scold my self he is a married man, and my morals and values teach me not go out with married men.

Life is normal, I go to work daily, gradually I was forgetting about Nick and I was overcoming the little crush I had on him until I got a message from him.

"Hey, there stranger! How you, I really missed you." he said using smiling face ☺️ emoji.

"Hey, there also, I'm great how about you?" I replied lying on my bed after taking my bath.

"Well, I'm doing great thanks." I nodded my head forgetting he couldn't see me. So I typed okay and replied to my other messages.

"You stopped chatting me when I told you I was married."

"Yup, I told you I don't associate my self with married men" I replied.

"Well I'm not married, I was trying you to see what kinda a lady you are. And you are a well-mannered Lady. I like you"

" You mean you are not married but why did you lie in the first place about been married." I asked him feeling confused.

I was swinging my legs on my bed like a kid anxiously waiting for his messages.

" well, I was trying to figure out what kind of a lady you are. Please forgive me if you felt offended  by what I did. And true to your words you never messaged me." He typed back.

I was still not okay with his answer so I asked one of my male friends. And he said Nick could be telling the truth so I should give him a chance if I like him but I should be careful.

I thanked him and promised him I will be careful.

"what are you doing now" Nick asked me.

"Me, nothing just in bed what about you." I asked him also.

"I went to drop my uncle off at the airport, he came for visitation and he is going back. Can I video call you." He asked me.

I was so lost in our conversation, that I never noticed the danger lurking somewhere waiting for the right opportunity to strike.

We video called and talked about about a lot of things. I got to know that Nick and his uncle share a compound together.

"Can I see you this weekend" He asked me pinching his long nose.

"Not really, going to my sisters place this weekend so Monday after work I guess." I told him yawning.

"You are feeling sleepy sweetheart, sleep we will continue tomorrow dream off me." He said winking at me.

I murmured be safe before the call ended,  I slept that night feeling happy and content.
