Lady Elliott Smith confesses her deep, undying love for Viceroy Lord David Evans, but when he refuses to reciprocate her feelings by confessing his love for the Royal Princess instead, Elliott loses her calm. But when she overhears their conversation to run away to Britain at dawn later that evening, she becomes totally outraged and vengeful.

She decides if her love story cannot be completed, theirs wouldn't either. Thus begins her plan to exact revenge on the woman who stole her love and the man who refused to love her back.

She misguides Lord Evans to wait for Princess Inaayat in the dark room, telling him she'll come soon and she knows another way out of the room that'll lead them out of the fort, away from prying eyes.

She convinces King Azhar to have a last conversation with Princess Inaayat to convince her for the arranged matrimony, just so she arrives at the spot later than Evans expects, so he goes into the room without a fuss.

And once Princess Inaayat arrives in the room with the windows with mesh intricate design, she hits her on the head to make her unconscious. When she's convinced, her plan is executed to perfection so far, she opens a nearby window and pushes the unconscious Princess over the threshold to stage her suicide.

The evil Lady Elliott achieves her revenge and later dies a painful death in a car accident.

But, the souls of the two star-crossed lovers are left to yearn for each other, until one century later, the universe sends signals beyond threads of time. They hear echoes in their dreams that keep telling them to "Go there" and "Come soon", because "It's time" for them to be reunited again.
