Sweet and salty kisses

Of softly falling rain

Trailing on my skin

Remembered warmth

Of doting fingers

Shivering through my vein

Memories...

Inching up to me

On supple silent feet

To sit between

The spaces

Of my thoughts

In aches.....so bittersweet

Wisps stuck in my hair

Eiderdown caresses

They taunt me

To catch them....but I can't

Memories....

They melt away

Like fickle snowflakes

While I drown

In wishful longings

To hold one moment, in my heart

Just one....that's all I want.
