Sparrow sat atop a small hill, her fur pressed against Lee's purring. Today was a happy day. It had been one moon since they had become mates, and the day Lee would find out he was going to be a father. She looked at the sunset, watching the vibrant colors shine around the sun as it went to sleep, and welcomed the moon for night. Her tail twined with Lee's, and her eyes filled with love, as her chest rumbled with a loud purr.
"I wonder..." Lee murmured.
"Wonder what?" Sparrow asked, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"I wonder if we'll ever have kits, like Cloverpool and Hailfur. They're such a loving couple.." He purred, an innocent cluelessness in his mew.
The orange tabby stepped away from Lee, giving him a happy glance.
"You're lucky, Love." She purred, eyes happier than they had ever been. "Because you're going to be a father. Lee, I'm expecting your kits." She purred, and ran to her mate, purring, and she licked his cheek.
"Sparrow-" The brown tom gasped in astonishment, a sliver of disbelief still in his eyes. "Sparrow, I'm going to be a father!" He purred, returning the loving lick. "We're going to have kits! They'll be just beautiful! I can't wait to tell Slap, he'll be so excited!"
Sparrow nodded, her eyes bright.
"He will be surprised." She purred, thinking of the freckled tom.

--------Two Moons Later--------

Sparrow let out an exhausted purr, looking at the two kits at her belly. They were beautiful, the perfect mix of her and Lee. Her yellow-green eyes turned to Lee's yellow ones.
"What should we name them?" She purred, giving both their kits a small lick.
"The black one, could we name him Angelkit? He looks just like my brother, Angel." Lee purred, touching his tail tip gently to Sparrow's shoulder.
"Of course. The second one..." A hint of indecisiveness entered her voice. Snakeleap chimed up.
"How about Flowkit?" He asked, his voice cracking with emotion. His mate, Slap, nodded in agreement, pressing his head to Slap's.
"Flowkit it is." Sparrow purred. "Flowkit is beautiful."
"These are our kits!" Lee exclaimed. "They'll be the best Warriors! I know they will!"
"I'm sure they will." Sparrow let out a yawn, her exhaustion from birthing her kits finally catching up. She closed her eyes, falling into a gentle sleep, Lee curled around her, purring.
