I'M SO SORRY!!! I'M HORRIBLE!!! I'm sorry, my dedicated thorns. With band camp and school starting and sleeping, I just couldn't find time. Plus a lot of stuff has gone down in my life and it put me in a slump. I'll try to do better. ON WITH THE NEXT CHAPTER!!!

It was mass hysteria. People were running and screaming as the reign of Ivory began. The sky was suddenly overtaken by pure darkness and bright sparks of red lightning. Over all of the chaos, Ivory's deranged laughter echoed through the kingdom. The city of light was plunged into darkness.

The former king fell to his knees at her feet, his illness worsening. "Why? Why would you do this to our people?"

She laughed and kicked him in the stomach. "You stupid, old fool. It should be obvious now. I am the dark one." She walked away from him, leaving him to die on the stage.

She grinned wickedly when she saw Ebony. He still had his shackles and collar on, so he couldn't run away quickly. She slowly stepped over to him as he tried to run. "Where do you think you're going, little brother?" She shot a red energy orb at him. He dodged, but it caused him to trip.

He fell and she cornered him. "Ivory, you do not have to do this. Please regain your sanity."

Her eye twitched and she snarled at him. "Are you calling me crazy?" Electricity started to charge in her hands. "You don't know what crazy is!" She shot bolts of dark energy at him. Ebony held up his hands to protect himself and the lightning shattered his handcuffs. His hands and arms were slightly burned, but he was free. He had an idea.

The next bolt she threw, he kicked his feet up and his shackles were disintegrated. She growled and charged a lot of energy. "I will destroy you!" She shot a large wave of dark energy at him and he had only one option. He tilted his head back and bared his neck. The collar absorbed the magic, but the power was too much for it, so it exploded. He covered his eyes and got more burns on his hands and some on his neck and face. The explosion caused a dark cloud of smoke to surround him. He was in pain, but he took the opportunity to run as fast and far as he could.

When he got to the edge of the city, Ebony's body finally gave out. He was bruised, burned, and bloody. His muscles refused to move and his bones ached. He collapsed to the ground and grunted as his wounds touched the ground. He was exhausted. His eyes slowly fluttered shut and his breathing slowed as his body started to shut down.

What will happen to poor Ebony? Will Ivory destroy the whole town? Will darkness prevail this time? All of the questions will be answered soon... Well, I'm not sure how soon................... Well, whatever! I'll try to update ASAP. Until next time, my dedicated thorns!
