Ebola Must Go
Ebola must go! Fight this fearsome foe!
We must do our parts to keep its spread low.
Wake up world, for we all own this problem.
Join forces, resources; lend aid to them.
On those stricken our compassion bestow.
The child shivers, feverish cheeks aglow;
Cries for her mother, tries to let her know
The cough hurts her chest, she chokes on the phlegm.
Ebola must go!
Mother lays silent, whites of her eyes show;
The small girl spews vomit, soils blood below.
Frightened, crawls in bed with her mother then;
Shakes her arm, cold, stiff and thin as a stem.
Let us end this insidious death flow.
Ebola must go!
Based on the slogan of Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, President of Liberia.
