alice was doing some deep cleaning around her house when there was a sudden knock on her door. she stopped dusting her antiques quickly walking over to the door. she opened it to see a bouquet of red flowers sitting on her wrap around porch.

she smiled bending down to pick them up and smell the sweet roses. she went back inside taking the card off the cardholder reading it. she smiled brightly after reading the sweet words they left....

alice walked into her kitchen to put her roses in fresh water then resumed back to cleaning. her phone dinged but alice wanted to finish cleaning which took an hour. after that, her house was completely spotless smelling like lavender and vanilla. alice went upstairs to her room checking her text messages to see that it was barry who texted her

alice sighed thinking of all the old times. but what she thought about what sabrina when she instantly say he called her by that nickname. she didn't open up the message. instead she threw her phone on the bed then ran into her bathroom to run a hot, bubbly bath.

she felt relaxed. "mate you shouldn't have sent her a red heart!" barry's homeboy said playfully smacking him upside the head

"i know i just can't help it man." barry confessed feeling embarrassed. "you're just setting yourself up for failure and even more disappointment."

those words didn't even hit his brain like they were supposed too, "we could get back together." barry took a sip of his whiskey on the rocks with his friend staring at him with disbelief

he started laughing heartedly seeing that barry actually believed the words that just fell from his mouth. "alice is not getting back with you."

"what makes you for certain?" barry asked getting defensive really quick. his fists were balled up but his friend didn't budge

"you mistreated this woman. a woman who loved you and was down for and was playing stepmother at a VERY young age. she loved brando—- still loves your son very much. you treated her as if she was nothing and like a babysitter while you were out with sabrina. you cheated on her with someone who was supposed to be her friend. you humiliated her. you and sabrina caused this poor woman to have a miscarriage. i'm only saying all of this because it's the truth and i love you but alice clearly is better off without you."

hearing those words angered barry causing him to throw his glass cup against a wall. everyone in the bar was thrown off by the erratic behavior. he left a one hundred dollar bill for the bartender then stormed out. not because he was mad at what his homeboy said.

but because he was angry at himself for being so stupid and losing alice. he got into his car and began to tremble. he won't ever get to cuddle with her again. he knows there are boundaries in his friendship with alice. he won't ever get to make love to her ever again. he won't ever get to know firsthand when she gets casted in more projects. he won't ever get to see her be so amazing with his son. he won't get to come on her sets and watch her be the amazing actresses that she is.

he lost his true love forever. barry began to cry silently thinking deeply about alice who went over to cillian and yvonne's after she got done bathing and showering. she went over to reveal to them that she was now dating the love of her life.

both cillian and yvonne were over the moon for her and hugged her tightly knowing that she is in good hands. alice seemed happier than ever.
