The sky was dark when I arrived at the Schuyler Mansion. A few of the rooms had a dim light coming from them. I walked uo to the front door knocking quietly but loud enough for someone to hear.

"Y/N!" Eliza whispers excitedly giving me a hug then looking at my still bandaged foot,"Come in. Your room is just how you left it." I smile at her words knowing that I was practically part of the family. We walk to my room without saying another word until we reach the candlelight filled room.

"So tell me what all happened. Every last bit of it." Eliza smiled at me. I know that someone had to have told her about the kidnapping. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Alexander who told her.

"You know about the kidnapping right?" I ask her anyways just to make sure she knows.

She sighs and that tells me what I need to know,"Alex wrote about it in a letter. I'm so sorry that happened Y/N."

"I'm okay now. Just thankful that Lafayette and I are alive." I say then realize what happened between us before I left.

"Are you sure you're okay? You just got a little sad when you said his name." Eliza pointed out.

"We just didn't leave on the best terms." I say quieter than we already were talking since it was about midnight.

"Please tell me you didn't break up Y/N." she says.

"No we did not. I just found out that he had been lying to me all this time." I say tears welling in my eyes,"How could he do that?" Eliza wraps her arms around me comforting me.

"Hey. It's going to be alright. You guys are the toughest couple I've ever known. Of course you'll over come this. You just need to relax right now. I'll leave you to get some rest. Okay?" she says looking at me for an answer.

"Okay." I reply quietly. Eliza smiled then left the room. I get off of the bed and walk over to the lit candles putting out each one so I can get some rest. I hadn't realized how tired I was until I finally laid back on the bed and my eyes were no longer able to stay awake and sooner or later dreams of him filled my mind.

"Y/N!" I turn to see Lafayette coming up to me wrapping me in his strong and warm embrace,"I'm so glad the war is over. Now I can finally marry the woman of my dreams."

"I love you Laf." I say wrapping my arms around his neck and he smiled.

"Hey you two! Stop being so gross!" Laurens yells over at us. We're standing in the back yard of the Schuyler Mansion with the sun shining and clouds out of sight.

"We'll do whatever we want!" Lafayette says back laughing at Laurens then turns back to kiss me on the lips. I laugh after he pulls away,"What's so funny?"

"Look at them." I motion to Hercules and John on the back porch. They were making disgusted faces and Lafayette rolls his eyes and laughs as Hercules yells at us to get a room. Ignoring their words Lafayette kisses me once more.

"That's it! I'm going inside!" John says walking inside laughing as he enters while Hercules follows.

"God you're beautiful." he breathes out.

"Not as beautiful as you." I say making him laugh.

"You can't be serious." Lafayette says,"I love you so much."
