Pearly mornings laid by ancient hands

gentle caress o'er summer dry lands,

weaving and sliding o'er valley and wood

preceding vain autumn's golden flood.

Whispering a million secret tales of yore

gospels drawn from Nature's store,

ancient tattle the Hermits told

to passing Knights in silver and gold.

Cometh the wizard of seasonal worth

unveiling high beauty across the earth,

riven the coveted chalice flows

a  wondrous, mystical mushroom grows.

and fabled dragons fly again

anointing with purifying flame,

and goblins and fairies scour the land

for the long lost maid of the fairest hand.
