I've never seen the sun set o'er the sea

I've never heard the sizzle of it  

drowning in the evening ebb.

I've seen it rise upon the tide

 seen it's path upon the main

as it rides the waves ashore.

I've heard the slumbering oceans sigh

at touch of its fiery caress

the true joyous rapture of the deep.
