Sky
I want to say that I could control my temper. But that would be lying.
I wandered aimlessly through the studio, clutching my translucent yellow axe coated in ink. I hear footsteps, loud and plenty of them.
I'm being circled by most of the creatures of the studio. All of them looking at me like they're expecting a fight.
Susie herself faces me, her weapon, a simple fan, clutched in her hand. She points it at me. "Well, Lawrence? Time for a fight!"
I knew she challenged creatures of the studio, poofing them and taking their gems to decorate herself.
I cling to my left wrist tightly. She wasn't getting my gem.
I point my axe at her. "You won't win." I swore.
She laughs. "With your little axe all inky and gross?"
I growl. "Says the one with a fan for a weapon."
She screeches, charging at me. I swiftly dodge the attack, front flipping over her, landing neatly on my feet.
As she slashes at me with the fan, I grasp her wrist, knocking the fan out of her hands. Then she punched me in the throat.
I couldn't control myself. I stood up, coughing from the attack. She has a new fan. She raised it above her head, about to bring it down on me and end the fight.
I snatch her neck, my gem glowing through the ink with a faint yellow light. Through my hands, I release a charge of electricity.
Her obsidian gem clatters to the floor. My citrine on display for everyone to see.
Talk passes through the crowd. There is a unanimous agreement.
"Shatter him."
