Welcome  back to other chapter of this book. First of all, I wanna thank you for reading my book. This chapter is another part of a series. So here are some more small steps you can take to contribute to the fight against climate change.

1. Deleting un-necessary mails

          By deleting un-necessary emails you can contribute to the fight against climate change. Well, how? 

       Mails are stored in servers that run on a lot of electricity and most or all of the electricity comes from burning fossil fuels which contributes to the pollution. Apparently, a spam email emits 0.3g of CO2e. That might seem like a small number but 300.4 billion emails were sent and received everyday in 2020. Now the number seems a lot. So instead of scrolling through videos delete useless mails. And unsubscribe from un-necessary newsletters or websites so they won't send you their emails. And when you delete the mails, the mails are sent to trash so go to trash and delete the mails in trash. This way you can make a small change yourself. 

2. Carry your own fork, spoon and straw

          This way you can avoid using plastic spoons, forks and straws and even if you end up using a plastic spoon, fork or straw instead of throwing it away use it in filling your eco-brick

3. Start an eco-friendly hobby

                 From plogging to gardening use your talents to save the planet. Spreading awareness in the form of a painting or plogging every morning (Jogging and picking up waste) or growing native flower plants in your garden which will help bees and other insects to get the nectar and help the environment. Everything can help. Photographing your nearest forest and spreading awareness can help too. Starting an eco-friendly hobby can help you learn and save the planet Earth.

4. Avoid wasting food

             Take only how much you can eat in your plate and avoid wasting food. 

5. Recycle boxes

            Recycling cardboard or plastic boxes can save the environment. You can use those boxes to store clothes or things, make toys or just paint on them and use them as decorative items. Recycling boxes can help the environment if not a lot at least a little bit.
