Fight

(Your point of view)

"So... you gonna let go or I am gonna stand here all day?" I asked. Rin didn't say anything - it was as if he was in another world. I looked towards his brother. "Sir, may you help?" Yukio shook his head. "You've only been here a week and you're adamant about taking the exwire exams, to be on par with your classmates. If you can't handle Rin, you can't handle the exam." He explained. Ugh I hate you. "Keep yourself safe," Rin murmured, still lost in his own world. "I couldn't stand it if anything happened to you." He added in a whisper. I barely managed to make out what he said. Not even his brother caught what Rin said.

"Rin?" I said. His body jerked up in surprise. He instantly noticed we were holding hands and quickly let go. "Sorry, I was kind of out of it." Rin apologised. I looked at his maths sheet. It was simply adding or taking away minuses. On a scrap piece of paper, I wrote down 'two - is a + one + and one - is a -'. "You understand it? It's getting late," i asked. Rin nodded and solved the first question. He got it right. After he quickly went to the kitchen and gave me a bowl of chicken soup. "For Shiemi," he stated. "Thanks Rin. See ya later! You too, sir!" I said my goodbyes and left. When I arrived back at the dorm, I gave Shiemi the chicken soup and started studying once more.

There was a bang on the door. I picked up my bow, arrows and dagger and advanced to the door. I wasn't very trusting of random sounds. I looked through the keyhole. There was something of a muddy brown colour lurking about the room opposite. It turned around. I was faced with it's red eyes. Upon noticing me, it slammed into the door again. I readied my bow. "If you think you can mess with my friends, you're surely mistaken. This arrow is tipped with holy water. Prepare to die," I growled  I kicked open the door and swiftly took my aim. Once I had a clear shot of it's head, I released the arrow. It hit the beast right in the eye.

It stumbled back in pain, assessing what it should do next. It's other eye locked on to Shiemi. Don't do what I think you are. The demon began to amble it's way towards Shiemi. I unsheathed my dagger and stabbed it in the back. It fell forward. I rolled it over with my foot. "How dare you come for my friends," I hissed. "I'll make sure you won't come back." I dipped my blade into some holy water. "See you in hell. That's where murderers like us belong." Before I stabbed it, the demon jumped up and perched itself on a lamp. I readied my bow once more. I took my aim at it's other eye. The stupid thing moved out of the way, so the arrow grazed it head.

"I told you that nobody hurts my friends! You won't get away with this," I yelled. I took out another arrow. I aimed it at the beast's eye again and released the arrow. Bullseye. I had blinded the creature. With the opportunity in hand, I lunged at the demon with my dagger. It could still sense me coming, so it just managed to jump out of the way. "Come here!" I went for an attack again, just managing to graze it as it moved out of the way. I'm getting nowhere with this stupid thing. Just let me stab you. The others never squirmed in the way you do. Come here, you dull thing.

I snapped the wood of my bow in half and coated each end with holy water. I began to spin it around as if it were a flail. I swung it to the left. The demon moved out of the way, but was still hit by the moving flail. The flail wrapped itself round the demon's next. Taking my chance, I pulled the creature to the ground. "Just let her pass-" I heard somebody say from a distance. I couldn't pinpoint where it was nor did I have the time to. However, my curiosity was peaked. I just had to figure out what the sound was and where it was coming from. I put a metal collar with inward facing spikes around the thing's next. I then tied it to my bed with string. "The slightest movement will cause pain. Every spike is tiped with holy water," I sneered. I looked over to Shiemi. She was still fast asleep, even over all that commotion. How are you still asleep, Shiemi? I get that you're sick, but that's nearly impossible. After making sure the demon was secure, I went to look for the source of the sound.
