Chapter 6

The man got up muttering as he dusted of his clothes.

"what the hell where you thinking!" the man yelled at her "you almost murdered me".

Anna sat down on the ground rubbing her hands off then touched her head to check if she was okay. She wondered if she heard this man right. She just saved his life and his saying she almost killed him?.

"Hey am I not talking to you, is this how you kill people?" he nudged her then she got up,having enough of the man.
"Huh? What did you just say? I just.." her words got stuck in her throat as she finally looked at the man.

"you again? " they both said the same time surprised. That quickly changed as she got angry at him.
I should have just let you jump of the bridge she muttered to herself as she rubbed her temples but he caught on to that and nudge her again.

"see I was right. So now you a killer too?" the man said looking at her.

"hey listen here oaf guy, first you the one that pushed me down at Wendy's" Anna walked closer to him and poking his chest. The man took a step back feeling nervous a little. "And now you about to jump of the bridge, I saved your life and now you calling me a murderer?"

"jump of the bridge?, Me?" he started laughing and he held the hand railing for support. "why would I want to kill myself?"

"but you where..." her words got stocked again in her throat and she glared annoyingly at him.

"listen up killer, I do that all the time. It kind of relaxes me. I walk on the railings and I was about to turn before someone almost killed me" he said explaining to her and giving her the accusing glare.

Now she felt stupid and wondered why someone would do that as fun or whatsoever.

"hey killer" the man said drawing her attention back to him as he moved closer and grab her arm "your arm bleeding, let's go to my house, it's closer" he said already dragging her to where he parked his car and didn't give her an option. Anna started screaming she was being kidnapped.

"honey how would you say that?, because I didn't buy you a teddy bear. You don't have to run away and make a scene now too. I said I'm sorry" the man said as few people began to stare.

"what? " she said looking at him but he covered her mouth so she wouldn't say more.

He held her closer apologizing and kissed her cheek to make it look more real this made her step on his feet and he tried not to scream.

He convinced the crowd and they started leaving while few threw comments at them saying they are the cutest couple and she should accept his apology.

When they both arrived at his house he carried her inside because she refused to come down.
"let me get the first aid box and don't try to run away, please" he said as he looked at her doubting if he could trust her to stay.
"look who finally have please in his dictionary" she said glaring at him.

He quickly grabbed the aid kit and immediately attended to her wound and he was muttering some words with a scowl on his face.

She hissed in pain and this pushed him to the limit which made him scold her for getting Injured but she kept shut and kept calling him oaf in her mind. As she tried not to remind him about him almost killing himself. He finally finished and also cleaned her palms.

"stop calling me oaf in your head I have a name, Ryan" he said as he got up and she avoided meeting his eyes because he got her there.
"I'm Anna" she said to him "and thank you but I have to go now" she got up and he followed her off.

Anna took a deep breath In, her back resting on her door as she finally was home.
jerk she muttered as she threw her shoes off. Anna was mad at herself and him she didn't really know why. She had her phone ringing and she saw Jea flashing on the screen. sighing  and ignoring the call, she laid on her bed and slept off.

She woke up with a headache and a damp towel on her head.

What the hell she taught I she got rid of it but held her head due to the fast movement.

Anna had noise by her toilet which made her sit up fast and fully awake. She called the name of the only person who could reach up here.

"jenelle?" Anna called out and waited for a response. Then she had a loud bang and try to find a weapon.

"right here!, damn you scared me" she muttered as she held a little bowl with water inside. "what are you doing out of bed? You suppose to be in it"

"why?" Anna remembered her phone then checked the time. "holy chihuahua it's 11pm" she looked down and looked around.

"you sick Anna you got a flu, go back to bed" Jeanelle said locking the door. She didn't trust Anna at that moment.

"the weather wasn't that bad last night so how can I be sick?" she asked Jeanelle.

"last night? So you went out after leaving me alone" she looked at her accusingly.

"I just needed to clear my head so went for a jog" Anna replied She complied with Anna so she wouldn't ask more questions.

Later Anna got better but Jenelle stayed and didn't leave until she was sure she got better. The women decide to have a holiday today. They both played dress up like they where some high school kids then they made plans for the week, Well Jeanelle made plans for the weekends and Anna got dragged into it.

Before she could blink an eye, Friday was here and now Anna had to go for the gathering the workers go to every Friday, thanks to Jeanelle. She had never being to one even though it was her company.

Anna found herself being dragged again by someone, this time by Jenelle as they both went downstairs to the chill spot opposite where the workers had there lunch.

They where all talking until Jeanelle and Anna entered and it went quiet and they all stood up to great her immediately. They where surprise to see her there because she had never being to one of there gatherings, not ever.

Anna hadn't had any type of meeting with her workers that doesn't relate to work or hang out with them but she new each of there name.

It became awkward even though Jeanelle tried to lighten up the mood. This made Anna feel worse and felt like she was ruining their day at being here.

Anna got angry and stood up "okay people, I get it I'm your boss but right now just see me as one of your mate or friend of you please or just another person or whatever." she sat down back waiting.
Few whispers went round wow she so cool, weird but cool.

"hey pass the salt" someone said to her across the table to break the silent and Anna did.
As if that was what was needed conversation started flowing in and they where all having a good time.

"have you seen when you walk in on your bad day?" Victoria said to Anna
"like when your meeting or something didn't go well?" another employer, Marian added

"It looks like you grew a moustache with a lot of eyes on you" Victoria finished.

"now now let's not push my limit of tolerance" Anna said looking at Victoria as she snapped the crab legs she was eating into two.

They both gulped as the table went silent, Jeanelle poked her but she didn't budge. Anna began laughing and said she was joking then everyone began laughing too.

"jea tells me that every time, she doesn't forget to tell me that." Anna said as they kept on talking, drinking and eating.

After that they all began leaving one buy one and Anna asked Jeanelle where they where going next, hopefully home. Anna wouldn't lie she had fun talking with them and bonding.

"some are going home while the others are going to club and which we are going to too. But first my house so we would change" Jeanelle said as they both walked to her car.

The women where standing in front of one of Anna's club. She had never being to one actually, like when it's fully packed the way it is right now. Jeanelle pushed her in so they could keep moving.
Since they are the owner, of course they where let in and put straight into the VIP area.
Jeanelle disappeared into the crowd telling Anna she would be right back and she should talk to people or mingle, and that was how Anna was left alone.

Great I knew she was ditching me Anna sighed as she got up to get a drink. The VIP area was upstairs so she leaned on the railings and looked down. It wasn't crowded in this area and she was glad the faces she saw where strangers.

"look what we have here" she had someone said beside her.
