Part 9
Lincoln was talking with the Crescent Family who were going to adopt him and his two sisters after trial was finished. Something that he was honestly excited for since he knew that the Crescents weren't like his birth ones who hardly lifted a finger to stop arguments and took sides. Something that angered him greatly since they weren't teaching his sisters proper morals at all, but when they started targeting his sister, Lisa...They crossed the line.
"Are you okay Lincoln?" Felipe asked.
"Yeah. I'm just mad at how my former parents handled everything. I mean, hiding in their rooms just because my sisters were in an argument..." Lincoln started.
"I feel you. When this is all over, we'll give you the parenting and life that you deserve."Jasper said.
"That'll be most appreciated because my sister needs some good morals. If we stayed with our previous family then she may end up as bad as some of our sisters." Lisa said.
"Considering how your parents hardly seemed to take charge of any situation I would agree." Jasper said before the defense attorney and the Louds walked back to the room. The Louds can hear people whispering and knew that they were being judged. But they can make it all better...right?
"Did you talk to your clients?" The judge asked the defense attorney.
"Yes. I was going to come up with a plea deal, but it seems like they want to take their chances in court." The defense attorney said with a sigh. He had hoped that they would take it, but it seems they're delusional to their chances in court.
"It's quite alright, you just had the unfortunate duty to defend them." The judge said.
"Thank you judge." The defense attorney said before he turned his attention back to Lincoln.
"Lincoln, Is there anything that you want to add?" The persecutor asked.
"There was the time that my sisters thought that my friend liked me." Lincoln said.
"And how did they figure that?" The persecutor asked.
"They watched a drama and told me to kiss her. No offense, but my sisters were always overly interested in my love life. And were constantly trying to get me to date my friend." Lincoln said.
"Seriously a drama?" The persecutor asked.
"Hey! We helped him with his love life!" Lori exclaimed.
"Actually, you just made things worse. Now, I'm not perfect...no one is, but your constant attempts to mess around with my love life doesn't amount to much when you constantly embarrass me in front of any girl I like." Lincoln said.
"Come on...Name one time..." Lori started to say before Lincoln spoke.
"The time that I was pressured by some of my friends to say bad things about Ronnie Anne and when I got back home....you almost threw a piece of furniture at me and forced me to go on a double date. The reason? Bobby broke up with you instead of asking me or Ronnie Anne what happened before that. Something that you also failed to do." Lincoln said.
"You almost threw a piece of furniture at him?" The persecutor asked.
"Well, Yes....however" Lori tried to explain until the persecutor interrupted her.
"So you valued your own relationship over the safety of your own brother. Makes one really think on how much you really value your siblings." The persecutor stated. Lori stayed silent after that and rethought everything that she did in the past. Meanwhile the persecutor looked back at Lincoln and wondered how much he endured when he was living at the Loud House.
"Lincoln, How many times have your sisters threatened to hurt you?" The persecutor asked.
"Too many times to count. They get angry at me easily for things that embarrass them, anger them or for their own selfish reasons." Lincoln admitted.
"Did you parents ever punish them?" The persecutor asked.
"Sometimes, but most of the time...they punished me then moved on to Lisa. They also took their side in several situations and never said anything if my sister's brilliant solution to make things right...is an inconvenience to me or other people." Lincoln said.
"That's not true..." Rita said.
"Really? One time we went to the supermarket where I tried to get everything on the list and that cereal that I wanted...with my sisters minus Lily. Only to find out that they wouldn't help at all and just cause chaos in the store. Ending with them thinking that their behavior somehow justifies getting something of their own which caused us to get kicked out. Did you blame them? No. You blamed me without hearing my explanation." Lincoln said.
"I..I.." Rita said.
"You may sit down Lincoln...you told us more than enough." The persecutor said. Knowing that the damage has already been done...now everyone was aware that the Loud did this short of thing to one of their own before. But the question was....
Will the Louds continue this pointless fight or surrender?
