~Chapter Eleven~
As our lunch meeting closed to an end, I started to clean up our plates and forks. Putting away the leftovers seeing as my mom went to her favorite Chicken place, ordering way too much chicken and acting as if she could really eat it all. My mom was waiting for me outside. Dominic's eye fell on me the whole time, confused.
"Can I have my clothes from your car?" I asked with a slight smile at the ridiculous question. I had no doubt in my mind that he'd want me gone as much as I wanted to leave.
"Where are you going?" He raised a brow at me, once again towering over me. I starred into his eyes blankly.
"You now where I'm going, I'm gonna go stay with a friend for a bit. Why?" I looked at him starting to get annoyed with him. His expression change once again. One of his hands landing in his pocket. The other on the wall, backing me up into the corner.
"Are you coming back?" He sounded concerned, yet he still found a way to make his question demanding. Acting as if he wanted me to come back.
"Maybe for a visit or two?." I asked as my eyes trailed off in the distance. The sunlight glistening into the hallway through the huge windows in his living room.
"I want you to stay here. I don't want you doing anything stupid with yourself alone." I felt myself start to growl under my breathe.
"Dom, I'm not going to stay with you. I am not your child, I barely even know you anymore." I started to feel as if I was the only one using properly logic in this situation. Dominic had gone from the abused, almost always broke boy in our small town to this. To a man with money, a growing education, and more friends than ever. Hell, I didn't even know what he did for a living to have all this money.
"We'll grow to understand each other." He spoke to me as if I was under his trance. The trance of his seduction. I did notice that he had a slight accent. Italian? I rolled my eyes and punched him the gut once again, he grunted in pain yet not standing down.
"Dominic Robinson Shaw, don't make this harder than what it needs to be. I am going to leave your house and proceed to rarely see you around college, is that understood." I heard a snarl rising in his voice.
"Your not fucking safe out there! You're staying with me end of discussion!" I felt his temper raising through the roof as he walked away, slamming the door to his room. I stood somewhat in shock, Dom had never yelled at me. I don't think I was necessarily upset with him for it. I felt a pool of wetness growing in the boxers I was wearing. I felt my cheeks heat up.
There was no fucking way. I couldn't wrap my head around what I was feeling. Pissing him off turned me on. Heavily. I shook my head, remembering Rowell. I wasn't into shit like that. I shook my head and shook it off. As the moment replayed in my mind, I had realized what he had said exactly. What was out there that was so dangerous for me, I hope he hadn't gotten me into anything stupid. I would still take his word and stay. He was truly worried, at least from my knowledge of what he was once like.
I ran to the elevator punching the buttons on the elevator quickly poking my head out the door as my mom ran up to the door, confused as to why I wasn't ready to leave. I hugged her tightly with a smile.
"I'm gonna stay with Dom." I didn't want to explain what was going on to my mom. Not until I knew what exactly I wasn't safe from. My mom hugged me tight as a huge smile spread across her face.
"Awh! Okay, have fun!" My mom obviously had other ideas then I did. I let her think whatever she wanted. It wasn't a problem if it would help me figure this out. Both how I got turned on at Dominic's anger and what I needed his protection from. Maybe I'd find out from entering that room.
As my mom walked off the property I closed the door and entered the elevator once again, remembering the floor I was once on. My first time coming into his apartment he must have taken the stairs. I didn't even realize the apartment was this big. I looked around the apartment building. It was just as lavish as his apartment. Marble was absolutely everywhere. It was comfortingly spaceish, and it had a very friendly feel to it. The elevator took me upstairs quickly as I opened up the huge double doors once again.
As I walked in I saw a not on the fridge. I walked towards it grabbing the bright yellow postit note of the huge silver fridge. I pulled my body weight onto the counter and rested my back against the cold walls, I settled in before reading the note. The note read the following..
I starred at the note. Slightly confused as to why he was acting so proper. I squirmed around on the cold countertop. I also didn't understand why he would give me a car, yet also yell at me for trying to leave. I crumbled up the piece of paper, jumping off the counter as I landed on the cold floor. I started walking towards the door I hadn't seen. I twisted the door knob with one hand resting in my the pouch of Dominic's hoodie.
The door was locked, I scrunched up my face slightly enraged. I went straight into Dominic's room, looking for a bobby pin. I was genuinely annoyed, what was oh so important that I couldn't see. I hadn't found one, even after searching for what felt like hour. I laid on the floor and sighed in defeat. All I needed was a few answers.
Yet still, the black is me was screaming at me to not even look in that damn room. Nor to even ask what Dominic was doing. He's field of work should have been none of my concern and I could simply leave after a couple weeks. Maybe get back together with Rowell and leave things as it was. If not I'd find someone else, take some time to myself. I didn't know what to think of everything just yet.
I arose form the floor and walked into the second bathroom, I opened the tucked away closet to the right of it, directly infront of the twin sinks. I gasped surprised by the abundant amount of hygiene products lying within in it. There was every rare Treehut scrub I could think off, followed by every line of Dove Body Washes and Dove Bars I could imagine. Followed by the most popular Method Body Washes. I turned around and started opening the cabinets above the counter tops.
Each one of them filled with every body lotion/butter that I've ever bought. As well as a perfect skincare and haircare routine for me. I starred heavily confused. I then went into the room I was in earlier. There was a new silk robe on the back of the door, it quit literally had my name on it. I starred in disbelief. There was no way he had just gotten all of this today and "guessed" so well.
I ran back to the bathroom with the robe, rubbing my eyes. Every item in there had never been touched. I then looked in the bottom cabinets, seeing refills upon refills of my shaving necessities, as well as my HoneyPot, and my Dr. Bonners. I was somewhat creeped out but I also was happy. At least I could shower properly while I was here.
I got into the shower and probably took one of the longest showers in my entire life. I scrubbed my body from head to toe. Fully indulging myself in the sensation of the shower. Ii felt so clean. I even thought I may have scrubbed the Rowell off of my skin. I laughed at the thought of it. Once I got out of the shower and started to do my skincare. Moisturizing my body completely. I then put the robe back on and headed back into the room.
Dominic still hadn't returned but I had many questions planned. I opened the first drawer in the room I got my robe from. There was ten thongs and hipster panties. Followed by six bras, three of theming being sports bras. Two lace bras and one proper bra. I put on the black lace bra with a black thong. The bra as well as the thong fit perfectly. I starred in disbeliever, I opened the next drawer and there we're a whole bunch of house clothes. They we're all straight from my Shein cart. I put on one the rompers, it was completely black and fluffy. It also had a few pockets.
I heard the door unlock as I started to get settled into the couch. I grabbed a few blankets as well as a couple pillows to accompany me. The T.V remote right in front of me as I put on One Day At A Time from Netflix. He had every streaming platform I could think off. I turned around and come to the realization there was another person accompanying Dominic.
I caught his eyes quickly, he had the most addicting blue eyes. As they shimmered in the sunset his eyes locking with my own. I watched him carefully as Dominic locked the door behind them, slowly taking off his trench coat. Flexing each and everyone of his muscles. I couldn't help but to bite my lip as I heard a chuckle erupt from the man with blue eyes. His voice provided this rich bass, highlighting the depth of his voice.
