December 24th, 1985 Malibu, California

"Hey Sweetie can you put these presents under the tree for my parents?" Tom asked.

"Sure." Meryl replied. "What time are they coming over?"

"Ummm I think at 6:50." Tom replied.

"Oh shit that's in 10 minutes I gotta go get ready." Meryl said in a nervous tone.

"Baby don't worry you look beautiful already."

"No I don't. I don't even have any makeup on" Meryl replied with a frown. But Tom just giggled.

"You look beautiful in my eyes." Tom smirked which made Meryl smile.

"You sure?" She questioned.

"Yes of course I'm sure." He laughed and kissed her forehead.

"Ok but I am still putting on makeup and a nice dress!" Meryl explained but just made Tom laugh even harder.

"Ok you do that." He replied.

Meryl ran up the stairs and started to get changed.

"Hey Ma are you gonna but this pie in yet?" Pierce asked.

"Yeah I will in about a few minutes I'm just watching A Christmas Story." Pierce's Mom said.

"Do you want me to put it in for you?"

"Love that would be great thank you so much!" His Mom replied.

"Yeah no problem." Pierce said. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "That must be the family." Pierce went to open the door.

"Uncle Piercey!" A little boy yelled and ran into Pierce's arms.

"What's up Donovan!" Pierce asked. Donovan is Pierce's brothers son. He is 3 years old.

"It's Cwismas!!!" Donovan yelled and everyone laughed.

"What's up bro." Pierce said as he went over and hugged is brother.

"Nothing much. Man do you look great!" "Jack complimented him.

"What can I say we have good genes!" Pierce and Jack laughed. "But how could we forget your beautiful wife?" Pierce said and Jacks wife blushed as Pierce went on over and gave her a peck on the cheek.

"Woah woah don't get to close there buddy." Jack put on a serious face and Pierce just laughed. "So still no girlfriend this year Pierce?" Jack asked.

Pierce just gave him a do we really need to talk about this right now look. Jack just giggled.

"Hey it takes time I just gotta find the right one." Pierce replied.

"Pierce c'mon you've been trying to find the right one for 29 years." Jack answered.

"You wanna bet that I'll get a ring on a girls finger in the next two years." Pierce challenged.

"Oh bet! I'm only betting because I know it ain't gonna happened." Jack smiled."

"Remember that when your my best man at the alter." Pierce said but Jack just smiled.

Tom heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it." Tom said. He opened the door. "Mom! Dad!" Tom yelled but could see 6 other cars pulling in which confused him.

"Tommy!" His father yelled and went over and gave him a big hug. "How are you doin bud."

"I'm great dad thanks for asking." Tom replied while going over to his mother and giving her a big hug and a kiss on her cheek.

"Meryl!!" His father yelled as he ran over and gave her a big hug. "You better be keeping my boy in line while you guys are together." Toms dad said and Meryl laughed.

"Oh I'm trying." Meryl said a giggled.

"Oh c'mon I'm not that bad." Tom said and Meryl laughed even harder.

"Don't worry he's not that bad but he still can't do his own laundry!" Meryl said and looked over at Tom with a dirty look.

"Meryl you might wanna get used to it. He never did his own laundry as a kid!" Toms mom laughed and so did Meryl.

The door was still opened and Tom heard multiple voices at once. He turned to his right. "Oh my god." He said under his breath. He was looking at 20+ people walking towards the door. His cousins, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and best friends were all walking with tons of presents in their hands. He looked to the left at Meryl. Meryl mouth was wide open. They were not expecting Tom's whole family.

"TOMMY BOY!" Half of his family yelled and they all ran to him for a big group hug.

"Hey guys what are all of you doing here?" Tom questioned.

"Well all of us wanted to see you and your girlfriend sooo... we decided to spend Christmas in Malibu!" Tom's cousin Gus replied. "Holy shit Meryl Streep you look gorgeous!"

Half of the family ran over and hugged her. All of them greeted her! "Welcome to the family!" One of Toms siblings said.

"Thank you thank you!" Meryl said but inside she was sad. "It's great to meet all of you." But she didn't really mean it at this time. They came so unexpected. This christmas was only suppost to be Tom, his parents and her. "Hey guys I just gotta go do something." Meryl made a excuse to go to Tom and hers bedroom.

"Ok see you when your done." Gus replied.

*30 minutes later*

"Hey has anyone seen Meryl?" Tom asked after greeting the whole family.

"She had to go do something I'm pretty sure." Gus answered.

"Do you know where she went?" Tom questioned.

"Pretty sure she went into a room."

"Thanks Gus." He smiled and went down the hall. He suddenly heard crying to his right. Putting his ear against his and Meryls bedroom door. "Baby?" Tom yelled but quietly so no one could here him except Meryl. She didn't reply. At this point he knew he had to go in and check on her. He opened the door and saw a crying Meryl sitting at the edge of the bed. He ran right to her side. "Baby baby what's wrong?" Tom asked.

"Nothing. I'm fine." She said but started to cry even harder. Tom wrapped his arms around Meryl and she put her head right on his chest.

"Baby please tell me." Tom said.

"I thought it was just gonna be us and your parents for a nice calm Christmas Eve." Meryl answered.

"I know I know. I didn't even know that they were coming. I'm so sorry babe." Tom replied but she cried even harder. "Shhhh it's ok.... it's ok." They both lied down on the bed and snuggled with each other. Tom planted soft warm kisses all around her face and Meryl felt safe in his arms.

After about five minutes she calmed down and stopped crying. Suddenly she started to fall asleep. Tom looked down at her gorgeous face and silently giggled. He didn't want to wake her so he closed his eyes too.

"Hey Tom." Someone knocked at the door. "It's dinner time."

"Ok thanks be out there in a minute." Tom said and luckily Meryl didn't hear and wake up. "Hey baby." He whispered into her ear. She slightly woke up and he planted soft wet kisses on her cheek.

"Huh." She whispered still waking up. Tom giggled.

"It's dinner time." He whispered.

"Oh." Meryl replied sadly.

"It's ok you can meet the whole fam." He smiled. "and learn all their names." He exaggerated which made Meryl giggle.

"Ok fine." Meryl laughed. They both got up and headed to the dining room.

"Meryl you're back! We were wondering where you were." Gus explained.

"Oh I just was looking for something in my room and I laid on my bed and dozed off by accident." Meryl replied.

A lot of Pierce's family was at his Malibu home. All his cousins, nieces, nephews, siblings, and parents were there. All by the Christmas tree opening presents

"Ok Uncle Pierceys time to open his pwesents." Donovan squealed and everyone laughed.

"My turn?" Pierce questioned and everyone nodded. "Ok then." Donovan handed him 5 different shaped presents with candy cane wrapping on it. "Thank you good sir." He said which made Donovan laugh. He opened the first present and it was a box of new golf balls! "Ahh thank you..." He stopped and look at who it was from. ".... Aunt Jenny"

"Your welcome love." She replied

Pierce went on and finished opening his presents. He got some golfs balls, underwear (from his mom), new Ray-Bans, Nike sneakers, and a new TaylorMade pitching wedge for his golf clubs. "Thank you all." He said and everyone who gave him a present nodded. "Holy shit it's hot as balls in here." He thought to himself. "Hey I'm gonna go on a walk on the beach anyone wanna come." He asked. No one wanted too. "I guess I'm a lone wolf." He said and everyone laughed. "Hey I'll be back in like a half an hour." Everyone nodded. He headed out the back sliding door, down the porches stairs and started walking. The moon glistened over the water and Pierce stopped just to look at how beautiful it was.

Everyone at Tom's house was eating and laughing. So was Meryl. Learning everyone's name and their jobs. Suddenly Tom stood up. He had a glass of champagne and hit it 3 times with a knife. "Hey everyone! Thanks you all for coming! I just wanna say that I love all of you including this gorgeous girl to my right." He said and Meryl blushed. He suddenly got down on knee facing Meryl. She gasped. "Oh my Tom not now not like this." She thought to herself. "Tom please no please. It's only been about 3 months." She kept thinking.

"Mary Louise Streep you are they most gorgeous, most loving, cutest, and funniest girl I know. I love you so much and I know for sure that I want you in my future." Tom said with lots of confidence. He pulled out a red velvet box and opened it. She was seeing most shiny diamond ring she has ever seen. "Mary Louise... will you marry me?"

Everyone gasped. Meryl couldn't speak even though she wanted to say something. "Tom it's only been 3 months I can't do this right now." She suddenly said running out the back sliding door and onto the beach. She ran about 20 feet to the right of Tom's house and ran behind a dune. She quickly started to ball her eyes out.

"Well what the hell are you doing?!" Gus yelled. "Go after her! Don't just let her run away!"

No words came out of Tom's mouth. He felt like a complete idiot. He knew it was too early but he loved her. He didn't even ask her parents. He jumped off from his knee and ran out the door.

"GO BOY!!" Gus yelled and everyone laughed.

He ran down the beach yelling Meryl's name. She suddenly heard him but stopped crying so he wouldn't be able to find her. She didn't want to see him. "MERYL! I'M SORRY LOVE." Tom yelled out but he heard no response. Tom kept running down the beach. He saw a man a sprinted towards him. "Hey have you seen a beautiful gorgeous girl girl run down the beach? Green eyes, and blonde hair." The guy shook his head. "Ok thanks anyway." Tom kept running.

"Oh shit I think that was Tom Hanks. Wait he was talking about Meryl." He thought to himself. He kept walking and suddenly heard a women crying. It was coming from behind a sand dune. He ran towards the sound. Suddenly seeing Meryl Streep crying. She turned around and saw the guy from the coffee shop.
