Before I get into the recommendations I'd just like to say thank you. Thank you for giving my story a chance. I really hope you have enjoyed it.

I have tried writing a book for years. I started an extremely rubbish story in 2016 soon after I lost my grandad that was called Wishing on a falling star which was the story of a sheep who wanted to go to the moon. That story took me 5 years to finish and I promise it will never see the light of day.

Now I have written 2 Wattpad books and I am about to start a 3rd. Yes my audience isn't huge but I am so grateful that even one person has read my stories so if you are one of them, thank you.

Anyway enough sappy stuff and onto the recommendations. Please note these aren't necessarily similar to my books they are simply books I enjoy and hopefully you will too.

Novels and books outside of Wattpad

1- One of us is lying by Karen M Mcmanus

This is an incredible young adult murder mystery about five students who walk into detention. Bronwyn who is a very nerdy character, Nate who is the bad boy/ future criminal, Cooper who is the school's sports star, Addy who is the beauty queen/queen bee and Simon who is the outcast who also runs the school's gossip app. Simon is about to share their darkest secrets, so someone wants him dead. When the five of them walk into detention they have no clue that only four will leave alive. They all claim to be innocent but which one of them is lying. Read to find out.

2- Six of crows by Leigh Bardugo

An incredible fantasy series set in Ketterdam. The main character Kaz Brekker is tasked with an impossible task. A heist which could prove deadly. He needs all the help he can get if he's going to pull it off. Luckily he finds it in Inej, Nina, Matthias, Wylan and Jesper. Now all they need to do is break into a maximum security prison and release a prisoner who has the knowledge to create something which if put into the wrong hands could destroy the world. Sounds easy enough they think. Read to find out if they succeed.

3- Concentr8 by William Sutcliffe

Ok this one sounds weird but trust me it's good.

This is the story of 5 kids who are in desperate desire of a new drug called concentr8 which is supposed to help kids with ADHD. When this new drug gets banned you see these five kids descend into madness as they kidnap a man and hold him hostage. It's as crazy as it sounds but it's so fast paced it's addictive. If you want to find out if the kids get their concentr8 read it. You won't regret it trust me.

Ok for these books I'm not going to give a description. I found most of these through judging awards. I really liked all of these very much so go give the authors some love.

Edit for 25/01/23 I have now done a full edit of every chapter of this story. It is now way less cringy than it was before. I will be updating my oldest book The Devil Lies Amongst Us soon too but that will take a while as it needs a full rewrite.
