As the morning crept Randhir slowly opened his eyes and his eyes fall on the most beautiful sight of his life. Sanyukta was sleeping peacefully, her face looks calm and composed. Though she lost her glow and charm still she was looking beautiful on that sweet sunlight. Randhir inched closer to her and was admiring her beauty when a hot drop rolled down from his eyes.

"I has the most beautiful, most lovable and innocent wife jiski mujhe puja karna chahiye tha but I abandoned her without her fault that's why life is now abandoning me. And I deserve this. But why Sanyukta have to pay for my sins? She doesn't deserve such punishment, it's me who deserves the punishment." He shouted in mind when some tear drops fall down on Sanyukta's face thus she stirred in her sleep. Randhir immediately back off and wiped his tears.

"No Randhir no, today is a very special day for Sanyukta and I don't want to start it with tears. Better I'll start it with smile so that Sanyukta will smile always." Randhir said in mind and decide his work.

Sanyukta get up from her hours sleep when she felt a little pain on her stitches, she hold her head gently and about to get up when thousand of red rose petals fall on her suddenly with a birthday wish along with it. Sanyukta became shocked and look up when saw Randhir was stood in front of her with a bunches of red roses and was smiling at her.

"Happy birthday sleepy head." Randhir wishes her and came to her.

"Pata hain kabse wait kar raha hu tumhe wish karne ke liye! Aab toh pau mein dard ho raha hain mera!" Randhir pouted when Sanyukta was looking at him with wide open eyes.

"What's all this Randhir?" Sanyukta asked curiously.

"Birthday wish jaan. Many many happy returns to my baby wife." Randhir wishes her again when kissed on her cheek lovingly and helped her to sat up.

"Aaj mera birthday hain?" Sanyukta asked confusingly.

"Yes baby, aaj hi wo din hain jab bhagaban ne ek angel ko iss duniya mein bheja tha sirf aur sirf mere liye and that's you." Randhir said pushed the strand of hair behind her ear when Sanyukta was looking at him confusingly.

"Happy birthday baby. I wish this day will come in your life again and again." Randhir wished her again and forwarded the red roses at her thus she smiled brightly and took the roses.

"Waise iss baar mera birthday thoda jaldi nehi aah geya!" Sanyukta said confusingly looking at the flowers when Randhir froze for a moment but composed himself quickly.

"Really! But haar saal toh issi din par aata hain, iss baar rocket mein thodi na aaya hoga jo jaldi aah jayega!" Randhir forced a smile when Sanyukta smiled too.

"Maybe surgery ki wajah se thodi confusion ho gayi hain." Sanyukta said smelling the roses when Randhir hold her hand.

"Don't worry am here to clear all your confusion." Randhir said softly when Sanyukta smiled at him.

"Now it's time for the birthday present." Randhir said when bring a velvet box from the wardrobe and forwarded it to Sanyukta. She took the box and opened it when saw a gold chain inside it with a heart shaped locket along with it.

"Open it." Randhir said thus Sanyukta opened the locket and became surprised to saw their photos inside it. She admired the photo when Randhir was busy to observing her expressions.

"I brought this for you." Randhir said to Sanyukta thus she looked at him.

"I brought this for you sometimes back but I was hesitated to give it to you." Randhir said hesitatingly when Sanyukta looked at him confusingly.

"Why do you hesitated Randhir, it's really pretty!" Sanyukta said curiously when Randhir smiled a little.

"Do you like it?" Randhir asked hopefully when Sanyukta nodded a no.

"Like it! No I love it Randhir." Sanyukta said happily when Randhir's face lit up like thousand ward bulb.

"Randhir gift sirf doge, pehenayoge nehi? Please help me na to tie this." Sanyukta pouted thus Randhir smiled brightly and tied the chain around her neck.

"You look beautiful." He hushed looking into her eyes when she blushed. Randhir can saw her red cheeks when his eyes fall on her lips. He was feeling like to kiss her right there but controlled himself as he doesn't know that will she allow him or not! Just when the door got knocked thus he sighed.

"Kabab mein haddi! Aaj ke din vi keya yeh log hume aakela nehi chhod sakte!" Randhir said became frustrated when Sanyukta chuckled softly.

"Go and open the door otherwise wo dono aaise hi knock karte rahenge." Sanyukta said thus Randhir opened the door when both Parth and Vidushi entered next.

"Hey birthday girl happy birthday." Vidushi wished Sanyukta with a bunches of pink roses when Parth gave her the yellow roses.

"Happy birthday Sanyukta." Parth wished her thus Sanyukta smiled brightly.

"You remember!" Sanyukta said surprisingly.

"We remember." Vidushi said proudly when took out a small box and forwarded to Sanyukta.

"Mere aur Parth ki taraf se, a small token of love." Vidushi said when Sanyukta smiled brightly. She opened the box and saw a beautiful gold ring inside it.

"How it is?" Vidushi asked curiously.

"It's beautiful but isski keya jarurat thi?" Sanyukta asked surprisingly.

"Okay toh phir wapas kar!" Vidushi said playfully thus Sanyukta smiled softly and looked at Parth.

"Parth where is my milk chocolate?" Sanyukta asked when Parth bite his tongue. 

"Am sorry Sanyu, iss baar main bhul geya." Parth apologized.

"I knew it ke tum bhul jayoge! You know na ke mujhe birthday par yehi gift chahiye hota hain!" Sanyukta made a face and looked away when Randhir took out two chocolate bars from his pocket and kept it on her palm. Sanyukta turned her face and became surprised to saw her favorite milk chocolate.

"I remember." Randhir said when Sanyukta looked at him surprisingly.

"I know that you will asking for it only so I bought it for you." Randhir said when a smile crept on Sanyukta's face.

"You still remember that what I craving for Randhir?" Sanyukta asked in disbelief.

"Of course I do, cause your wishes are my command too." Randhir said pressed her hand a little when Sanyukta smiled brightly.

"Matlab sirf chocolate hi laya hain aur kuch nehi?" Vidushi asked teasingly.

"Nehi Randhir ne mujhe already gift de diya hain." Sanyukta said showing the chain.

"Show me show me." Vidushi said excitedly and checked the chain.

"By the way there is another gift for you. Just a minute." Randhir said when left the room and came back with Whisky after sometimes.

"Here is your gift." Randhir said when Sanyukta's face lit up to saw Whisky after so many days.

"My baby, come here mamma was missing you a lot." Sanyukta started caressing her hair when the little puppy was busy to licking her feet.

Randhir smiled in satisfaction looking Sanyukta happy after so many days or precisely must be after an year, he thought. He was lost in his thoughts when the doctor came to check Sanyukta.

"Doctor how is Sanyukta now? Is she recovering?" Randhir asked hopefully.

"Look Mr. Shekhawat I don't give you false hope. Aapki wife ki condition aabhi vi achchhi nehi hain. Though it's not worse but it's not good at all." Doctor said when Randhir's face fall terribly.

"But doctor Sanyukta aaj kitni khush hain aapni birthday ko lekar!" Randhir said anyhow.

"But I think aapko yeh sab kuch nehi karna chahiye tha Mr. Shekhawat. Iss condition mein zaara sa excitement vi patient ke liye bahut jyada harmful ho sakta hain! I suggest total bed rest for Mrs. Shekhawat." Doctor said firmly thus Randhir felt helpless.

"But doctor Sanyukta ka bahut mann hain aapna birthday celebrate karne ka. Keya wo thodi der ke liye vi party attend nehi kar sakti? Bass thodi der ke liye." Randhir asked for his permission thus the doctor nodded positively.

"Okay but remember by any chance she won't get excited, it'll be harmful for her." Doctor warned them.

"Okay doctor we'll take care of it." Vidushi replied thus the doctor left next.

"I told you it's a worse idea." Parth groaned loudly.

"Am doing all this for Sanyukta, for her happiness. And Sanyukta is happy after listening about her birthday." Randhir said firmly while arranging Sanyukta's breakfast.

"But what if she came to know that it's not her birthday?" Parth asked sternly.

"That won't happen and I already promised her to make her birthday memorable so no one can stop me to make happy my wife." Randhir said determinedly took the breakfast and went to his room without waiting for any question further.

Randhir entered at the room and saw the nurse was changing Sanyukta's bandage when she was sat there with a fallen face. Randhir kept the breakfast on the table and send the nurse outside and sat beside her.

"Why the birthday girl is sad?" Randhir asked lovingly thus Sanyukta looked at him.

"Randhir wo nurse mujhe shower lene nehi deti, bolti hain ke stitches khul jayenge." Sanyukta complained just like a kid.

"But she is right baby, aabhi tumhari stitches fresh hain toh phir shower lene se wo khul jayenge aur bleeding ho sakti hain. You have to careful na." Randhir said with concern.

"But I want to take shower." Sanyukta pouted thus Randhir smiled.

"Okay, ek baar doctor permission de de toh phir jitni marzi shower lena, I won't stop you." Randhir assured her.

"Will you join me there?" Sanyukta asked naughtily when Randhir smiled a little.

"If you insist I'll ma'am." He smiled mischievously when Sanyukta blushed hard. Randhir inched closer to her and whispered near her ear.

"Do you remember our first shower?" Randhir hushed when Sanyukta felt her cheeks warm up remembering about their honeymoon. She lowered her lashes unable to meet gaze with him when Randhir was watching her only. He noticed a red hue on her cheeks, the shyness in her eyes and moreover that beautiful smile on her face. Randhir wondered how became he missed to notice all this in last one year when he was investing his precious time on Ishika. He was regretting now to neglected her like that when she was waiting for him only. A hot drop rolled down from his eyes again which he wiped quickly.

"Keya huya?" Sanyukta asked confusingly.

"Kuch nehi, wo aankhon mein kuch chala geya tha!" Randhir lied when turned his face to hide the tears.

"Idhar aau." Sanyukta called him thus Randhir looked at her when she called him again. Randhir went near her and sat down beside her when Sanyukta inched closer to him and cupped his face and blow air on his eye.

"Aab thik hain?" She asked cupping his face when he nodded positively.

"Dekha mera kamal!" Sanyukta said proudly when flashed a big smile which blow away Randhir's heart once again and he decided to keep watching her every single second to gather some beautiful moments of their which soon turned into beautiful memories. And his heart ached badly on this thought.

"Okay aab jaldi se breakfast kar lo phir medicine vi khana hain." Randhir said when placed the tray on the bed.

"All your favorite dishes, maine banaya hain." Randhir said when Sanyukta looked at him in disbelief.

"Tumne, lekin kyu?" Sanyukta asked shockingly.

"Cause it's your birthday. And as I promised you I'll always be with you on your special day. So I made this special breakfast to make your day more special." Randhir said happily when Sanyukta smiled brightly.

"Thank you Randhir for fulfilling my wish." Sanyukta said when Randhir smiled brightly.

"My pleasure princess." Randhir said when Sanyukta's eyes became moist.

"Sanyukta why are you crying baby?" Randhir asked worriedly when she nodded a no.

"Nehi yeh khushi ki aasu hain." Sanyukta smiled a little when Randhir cupped her face.

"Main tumhare aankhon mein ek boond aasoon vi nehi dekh sakta Sanyukta." Randhir said with concern when Sanyukta hide her face on his chest.

"I wish Randhir tum yeh care yeh pyar ek saal pehele dikhate toh phir aaj shayed meri fake birthday par tumhe yeh concern nehi dikhana padta! But I guess kuch realization hote hote itna der ho jata hain ke tab insan ke pass regret karne ka vi time nehi hota!" Sanyukta said in mind when tears rolled down from her eyes.
