The seeds were planted
Of both Hate and Love,
Couldn't understand which to water
I began with both.
Seeing which one would stay
The seedling of Love peeked out,
But the plant of Hate
Had already blown me away.

It grew into a tree
Deepening it's roots,
The lesson of envy and jealousy
We're it's fruits.

My eyes got coveted
Bluffing my brain,
I became blind towards love
Venom of hatred had choked my veins.

The path I chose
Had no U-Turn,
Even when I tried
It only made me burn.

I tried to run
To escape this misery,
But all the doors were locked
For everyone -
My existence became a history
A name they remembered bitterly.
