Chapter.05

Liar Liar.

Bryce smiled as he sat down the food in front of his boyfriend. "Thank you babe." Jonathan said as he took his glass and sipped on the cool liquid. The blonde only blushed at his boyfriends comment as he tried to calm his nerves from when that guy had asked for his number. Today just so happened to be very alarming for one such as him.

Normally he would just brush it off but for some reason he felt like he knew that man from somewhere. It was getting on his nerves to even be thinking of him at the moment.

"So what did you talk about with that group?" Jonathan asked, playing with his straw. "I mean you seemed pretty interested in the subject.."

Bryce's eyes narrowed on his boyfriend and then looked to the two couple across from him who were listening in on their conversation. He hated that badly. "Well," he began as he looked away from the couple. "We were actually talking about what's the best on the menu Jon. If you will excuse me I have to get back to work before my boss gets upset."

Jonathan didn't say anything as he watched his boyfriend walked off like a complete badass. Usually he wouldn't say anything like he did but he had enough of Evan listening in on their relationship then telling his boyfriend what he should do. Bryce was friends with the man and all but it seemed the only thing he was trying to do was tear them apart and sometimes he actually believed it was working.

Bryce sat a glass in front of a costumer when the door bell jingled and in came Scottie and Marcel locked in conversation. As much as he wanted to speak to them he felt like he wasn't in any mood to even speak. Felt like his tongue would tie in a knot of he'd bite it too hard.

Hours later...

The sound of music echoed softly throughout the room as Bryce reached across the table to get a spot he cleaned over with the soft cloth. Since he was new to this he had to stay over  for more money. But he really didn't mind. He just needed to get home so he could do his classes as quickly as possible before Ohm called him.

As much as Bryce didn't want a friend he felt like this man was an honest one and that's what he needed. Sure Tyler was honest to him but he wasn't able to reach Tyler everyday because of the males late shifts. Craig wasn't as honest as everyone thought and he had learned that the hard way.

Marcel and Scottie were always on the move or busy too so they were out as well.

Bryce sighed deeply as he put up the cleaning items and pulled out his cellphone to text his boyfriend. He sent a message before waiting until he got a text back.

Jon: Sorry babe, I'm at the club with Evan. I can't pick you up cause he's drunk and needs someone to drive him home. I'll be there shortly I promise.

Bryce rolled his eyes at that text as he began to make his way down the street towards his house. He knew it was a lie but he did what he always done and stayed out of it. If lairs pants caught on fire then his boyfriend would already be a pile of ash.

When Bryce got to his house he sat his phone on the counter and made his way to their office before sitting down at the computer. He logged into his stuff and began to answer questions as well as watch multiple videos that had a professor teaching subjects. Hours into the college and suddenly the door opens to reveal his boyfriend who, surprisingly, wasn't drunk. "Hey why didn't you wait? I said I'd come and get you." Jonathan asked as he gave a confused look.

"I didn't feel like waiting."

Jonathan stared at his boyfriend for a moment as he continued his sheet. "What's wrong?" He finally asked but the blonde just shrugged as he stared blankly at the computer. The only sound in the room was the clicking of the mouse. "Is it because of what happened at Dans Diner today?"

Bryce froze. "I just don't like how you want to bring stuff up around Evan." His answer was the stone cold truth. "I mean it's our business and not theirs."

"Yeah well it's my business to know why you were cutting up with people you don't know. But I don't get a real answer do I?"

"Yeah? Well it's my business to know why you come home almost every night with lipstick stains on you but guess what Jonathan, I don't get a real answer either so looks like we're both even on the scoreboard."

Silence.

Bryce didn't look away from the computer as he typed something into the search bar. The light reflecting in his blue eyes. Jonathan said nothing as he shook his head and left the room. "Exactly." The blonde growled as he sighed deeply.

Suddenly Skype rang.

Bryce hurriedly opened it and smiled when he heard the other speak first. "Hey Ohm!" He cheered as his blue eyes dazed. "How was today?"
