Natsu pov
Shit. I was so close. I don't know what that light was but I know I don't like it. I should have just finished those guys off right away without playing with them. I can't believe how weak they all are.

I had ended up in some forest. I had no idea where I was but I was pissed. I felt like I had been walking for hours. Nothing seemed to be happening. I sat down for a moment and I must have fallen asleep because when I opened my eyes again. The sun was rising. My vision was still blurry but it looked like a tall figure was standing right in front of me. I leaped up.

My eyesight went back to normal and i saw someone. He was wearing long black robes. He had black hair and darkness and evil seemed to just radiate from him.

"Who the hell are you?" I said. I wasn't sure if I should beat his ass or not yet. The man looked at me and softly smiled.

"Looks like with all your changing you've forgotten who I am. My name is Zeref. I am your brother Natsu." The man said calmly.

"My name is E.N.D. And even if you are my brother why are you here?" I said. Zeref frowned.

"Well I was watching you a little while ago. Seems you had some trouble defeating your friends. Do you still care about them?" He asked.

"Hell no. It wasn't them who sent me away. It was some white light. I don't know who it was but it is just an annoyance. I can defeat anyone." I said proudly. Zeref laughed. That made me mad. I balled my fist up and hurled it at his face. Surprisingly he caught my hand.

"There is no need to get angry E.N.D. I have a proposal for you and I think you'll like it." Zeref said calmly. I couldn't believe how strong he was but I would never show weakness. I just bit my tongue and glared at him. 

"What makes you think I'll like it?" I said coldly. Zeref smiled and let go of my fist.

"Because it involves power and I believe that is what you want deep inside E.N.D. How would you like to become the king of demons?" He said. The last words seemed to echo through my head. The king of demons. I could be the most powerful creature in the world. I could rule the world.

"What's the catch?" I asked slyly. I know all of these things have a catch.

"Oh there is no catch. I am just getting tired of having so much power and responsibility. So what better way to take a break then give to my baby brother." Zeref said smiling. I didn't like when he used the word "baby brother" it made me feel weak.

"I'll do it."

"Good now let me show you the most important part." Zeref said as he pulled a book from his robes. It looked thousands of years old with yellow pages that looked like they were falling apart. The cover of the book had seen some damage too. It had been slashed and you could see and melted spot that looked like a burn. On the cover it said E.N.D. in big red letters. There was a lock on the pages so no one could get in. Zeref handed the book to me. It was heavy but as soon as I touched it I felt power surge through my body like a wave of heat. I felt powerful. Like nothing could stand in my way.

"That book is your life source. If anything happens to it E.N.D will die. Protect this with your life." Zeref said sternly.

"I understand."

-Lucy pov-
The last thing I remember was Mavis standing over me. Then I past out. I woke up and saw I was in the fairy tail infirmary. Gray, Erza and Wendy were looking down at me. The master and Mavis were both in the room. I quickly sat up and all the blood rushed to my head.

"What happened?" I said holding my head in my hands. I looked down and saw I was bandaged up. The memory of what had happened was just starting to come back to me.

The master sighed. "Mavis arrived just in time to save you. It seems that Natsu doesn't like her magic." Master said.

"Once he left we all rushed you back here as quickly as we could. You're lucky Wendy was there. You could have died." Erza said.

"I know that thing isn't Natsu." I said looking at the master. "He called himself E.N.D. Natsu could never be like him."

Mavis' face turned stone cold. We all turned to her for answers and she mumbled something to us. My blood ran cold.

"Zeref is behind this."

-time skip: 4 hour later-

After a long conversation that ended up not going anywhere the others decided it would be best if I got some rest and we picked everything up tomorrow. I had insisted I was fine but they made me stay just in case.

I tried to fall asleep but nothing seemed to work. I was just staring at the wall thinking about Natsu. Just thinking about him hurt me. I heard the door creak open and happy walked in.

"Happy." I said acknowledging he was there.

"Lucy is it true? Is Natsu evil?" Happy said flying up and landing on my hospital bed.

"Happy I believe that that wasn't Natsu. Don't worry. Whatever's going on we'll figure it out. It can't be." I said the last part quietly. I was trying to reassure myself just as much as him. I smiled and patted my bed.

"It's getting late and I bet people are going home. You can sleep here with me if you want." I said trying to be cheerful. Happy gave me a sad smile and curled up. I closed my eyes and finally drifted off to sleep.

I was running down a hallway. I could here the thumping of people running behind me. I was scared. I ran for what seemed like hours and finally got to a big door. Using all my strength I pushed it open and saw E.N.D waiting for me. He had a hungry grin on his face. His eyes glowed with evil. I looked around the room and saw beautiful girls scattering the floor. They all seemed to be dead or dying. I was horrified. What happened to the cute, funny, dense, sweet Natsu I knew and loved?

"What are you going to do Lucy? You have no power here." He said baring his long dragon like fangs. He reached out and pulled me in his embrace but it wasn't comforting at all. It was more like he was trying to keep me in one place.
His hands traced down my hips and he squeezed my leg causing me to shutter. Why was Natsu doing such gross, perverted things?
While he was distracted with my body I could feel my hand grabbing a dagger that was strapped to the small of my back. Wait... a dagger!!! I had no control of my body. I watched in horror as I swiftly grabbed the dagger and plunged it into Natsu. I wanted to scream but no sound would come out. I ripped it out and saw that it had plunged through an old book. The tip had gone straight through the book and had blood on the end. I looked at Natsu. He looked like he was going through extreme pain. He was writhing and screaming. I wanted to help him but my body wouldn't move. His horns shrunk back into his head. His eyes faded from the bright yellow into their original color. The wings started to creep back into his back causing him to scream out with pain. The black swirls over his body started to fade and his teeth shrunk. All I could do was stare helplessly at him writhing in pain. I wanted to cry. I closed my eyes waiting for it to be over. Everything went silent. I opened my eyes just the slightest and saw the real Natsu laying there. He looked scared. There was a patch of red where I had stabbed him. Black ooze was seeping out of the wound. He looked up at me for help.

"Lucy... Help me." He said in a pained, horse voice. He reached out his hand then fell over. I was scared beyond belief. His eyes were closed. I couldn't see him breathing. I screamed and cried. What did I do???

I woke up quickly from the nightmare. Beads of sweat were falling down my face. I was crying.
What did I do?!?
