Erza's pov
The shadow blocked the entry leaving us in a long dark hallway. It was silent. No one moved. Gray, Juvia, Wendy and Carla were all stuck in there fighting that thing by themselves.

"What do we do?" Lucy asked quietly.

"We need to keep going and find Natsu. I trust that they will be able to defeat that monster." The words killed me. I didn't want to leave them alone. I wanted to figure out a way to help them but Natsu needed us. Gray would kill me if I stayed behind and didn't try to carry out the mission.

"Do we just keep going straight?" Happy said. He was hovering above us. I could see the worried look on his face.

"That's the only way." Jellal said. He started walking forward. I sighed and followed him.

We walked for what seemed like hours. The hallway seemed to go on and on.

"What's with this building?" Lucy asked panting.

"I'm not sure. It's some kind of magic." I said. I squinted. There was a door. "Look!" I said pointing. I squinted. A couple hundred yards away stood a big wooden door. I was so relieved, that I made one of the most irrational decisions ever. I sprinted towards the door, completely ignoring the fact that the last time we went through them something terrible happened.

I sprinted towards the door but something seemed to be slowing me down. I looked down and saw I was sinking into the ground. I struggled trying to lift my legs higher. I heard Jellal, Lucy and Happy scream my name. I couldn't move. It felt like I was drowning. I tried to cling on to something. Nothing was there and I fell.

Jellal's pov
"Erza!" I yelled running faster then I had ever done in my life. Erza flailed around trying to grab something. The look on her face was pure terror. It was horrifying.

Lucy, Happy and I sprinted down the hallway. Suddenly Erza just disappeared. I kept running towards where she had left.

"Jellal!" I heard Lucy shout. I whirled around. "Don't go any closer. You'll get sucked up. We need to find Natsu." She looked scared. Tears were forming in her eyes. I knew the feeling. She had no idea what to do. She was alone. All her friends had disappeared. And Natsu was still nowhere to be seen.

"Lucy I'm sorry. Have happy fly you out of here. I won't leave Erza." I said. She just stood there.

"I can't do this alone!" She shouted. She started to break down. Happy just hovered. I could tell he was torn. But I knew it was them who would be able to turn Natsu back. For some reason I had always known.

"I have faith you'll be able to save Natsu." I said trying to act calm to calm her down.

"But what if you die?" She asked trying to compose herself.

"I've always been prepared to die for Erza." I said. The words rang through my mind. Finally I had said it out loud. "I love her.."

Lucy sniffed and gave me a small smile.

"I know." She simply said. I nodded and started running. I closed my eyes and felt myself being pulled down. I didn't hesitate. I let myself get drowned in darkness.

Erza's pov
I opened my eyes. Everything was dark. I looked around. I couldn't make out anything. I was so angry.

"God I'm such an idiot!" I screamed into the darkness. My voice just seemed to go on and on forever. I looked around, straining my eyes. Suddenly I saw a spark in the distance. It grew into a flame, then to a fire.

"Requip." I said softly changing into my heavens wheel armor.

"Hello. I finally have something to eat." I heard a raspy voice say. I didn't let my eyes wander from the flame, but the voice seemed to be coming from everywhere.

"Release me and I'll let you live." I said trying to not show fear in my voice.

"Oh.. So you think you can kill me?" The voice said. The flame started swirling and and spreading. The color changed from orange to a dark purple.

"I'd like to see you try." The thing laughed. I glared at the flame. Suddenly I heard a voice.

"Ahhhhhhh!" I whirled around and saw Jellal falling from the darkness. He hit the ground with a loud thud. The flame lightly illuminated his face.

"Jellal?" I said in shock. What was he doing here.

"Erza thank god." He said quickly standing up. He eyed the fire suspiciously. "What's going on?"

"Ahh more for me." The voice echoed. Jellal quickly jumped in front of me.

"What are you?" He called out. The flame crept up what must have been some sort of wall.

"Ahh of course I'm a nobody who this young woman is going to kill in an instant." The voice laughed. Jellals face hardened.

"Jellal what are you doing here?" I asked him. He opened his mouth to say something just as a wave of heat flew at us. It was so strange it pushed me to the ground and threw Jellal 15 yards away, knocking him out. The flame got bigger and bigger. My skin burned.

"Requip!" I shouted, turning into my fire empress armor. "Just try that one more time." I said. There was a laugh. The fire shot towards me. I grinned, ready to show the demon who he was up against. The exact moment the flames hit me my body I felt like I was going to melt. I let out a loud shriek as my armor started to melt. What?!! This isn't supposed to happen. This armor is for fire!

"What was that? You want me to try again?" The voice laughed. I collapsed to the ground. Jellal opened his eyes. He grabbed his head running it. He must have hit his head. He looked at me lying on the ground, my armor starting to melt. Jellals eyes lit up with fury.

"Like hell I'd let you do that and get away with it." He said, a magic aurora surrounding him. "If you don't mind we have somewhere to be. Heavenly body." He shouted shooting light out of his hands at the flame. The light simply got eaten up. Jellal glared and started throwing everything he had at the roaring fire.

I requiped back into heavens wheel armor and stood up. We could do this. Yelling to get my spirits up, I charged the thing.
