Wendy's pov
The sky was starting to become darker and darker. Everyone had been walking for such a long time and Lucy looked like she was about to pass out. We stopped to rest by a big bolder. It was covered in vines.

"Wendy are you sure we're going in the right direction. I mean. Maybe Natsu took a sharp turn all of a sudden and you can't pick it up." Juvia said rubbing her soar feet.

I lifted my nose and sniffed the wind. Funny, the scent seemed to stop here.

"The scent stops here. I don't understand." I said walking around sniffing the air. I could tell it was going to rain. The fresh smells of nature filled my nose.

"You've got to be kidding me." Gray said sitting down discouraged.

"You're sure? Are you absolutely sure?" Lucy said. Happy was circling us nervously. I nodded.

"Well he must have gotten away some how." Erza said. Even after walking this far she still stood strongly like a leader.

I heard the cry of a huge bird overhead and it startled me. I quickly backed up against the big rock. I must have lost my footing because I felt myself falling. When I hit the ground I looked up and saw I had fallen around 16 feet. I rubbed my back and stood up. I could hear everyone calling my name.

"I'm alright." I yelled up. Jellal picked his head down the hole and looked at me.

"Are you sure?" He asked. I nodded.

"I just got starteled and lost my footing." I said. Jellal had something in his hand. It was very dark and I could barely see. Suddenly a flash of light happened illuminating the hole I had fallen into. It was coming from Jellals Magic orb.

I looked around and saw a tunnel leading north.

"Wait Wendy. I've got an idea." I heard Lucy shout. "Check for Natsu's smell. He may have escaped through here. I bet it would mask his scent." She called. I took a deep breath in. Got it. It was him.

"You were right. Natsu went this way." I called back up to her.

"Yes! Ok I'm coming down." Lucy called out. I scurried out of the way. There was a crash. Lucy stood up rubbing her butt.

"Ouch." She said biting her lip. I saw Grays head poke through the hole. He muttered something and an ice slide formed. He slid down followed by the others. Lucy glared.

"Would have been great to know you had a way down before I broke my butt." She said glaring.

"Sorry I just had the idea." Gray said shrugging. Lucy narrowed her eyes. I could tell she was about to yell.

"Don't you think we should head forward?" Erza said. We all nodded. No one wanted Erza angry.

We headed though the tunnel. It twisted and turned for what seemed like miles. It seemed like we had been walking forever. Finally we came to a staircase.

"Where do you think this leads?" Juvia said. She was holding on to grays arm. Everyone seemed a little on edge.

"Hopefully to where Natsu is." Happy said hopefully. He started to fly up. Everyone else followed. At the top of the stairs was a big door. Jellal reached out and slowly opened the door.

Lucy grabbed Natsu's scarf that was tied to her belt, and wrapped it around her neck.

-Gray pov-
I was the first one to step out the door. I walked into a room. It was a cold, dark room. There were big windows that showed a storm forming. The room was almost empty. Nothing was here. Strange.

The others followed. We all stood in the room. Waiting. Nothing.
